In child care teacher aptitude, it is identified that there is difference between male and female in sociability for the infants, but it shows that there is no difference in other field and implies that compared with gender of child care teacher, desire and qualification are more important for child care teaching. In addition,, in child care teacher aptitude, it is identified that as variable, commitment for duty expressively explicates child care teacher's professional perception, and the following things are shown as the variables to meaningfully explain the child care efficacy : creativity, self-improvement, sociability for infants, receptiveness, sensitiveness and safety management capacity significantly. Finally, it is turned out that creativity and self-improvement as main variable, expressively explains multicultural teaching efficacy. It is suggested the necessity to instruct pre-service child care teachers to possess creativity and be able to develop themselves, and improve multicultural teacher competencies.

The negative awareness of a multiculturalism rises around the world because of various problems that happen with the multicultural phenomenon. Nevertheless, the reason we uphold multiculturalism is that multicultural phenomenon is an inevitable consequence of capitalism and the decline of multiculturalism might imply danger of bringing about radical nationalism. This study assumes that a distortion of multiculturalism is the result from a myth of romance film which affects the public perception as an integral component of a discourse. Grounded upon monomith, the narrative structure of romance film of which motive comes from courtly love makes people miscomprehend the value of multiculturalism because of the multicultural factor as substitute for romantic obstacle. As the character of romance movie is likely to be formed focusing on superficial images and denotations, this tendency causes the hierarchy and the representative minority drives out the rest of other minorities. The attempt to arouse people's tolerance and understanding of the other is frustrated both by the structure of binary oppositions and the clich$\acute{e}$.

The purpose of this study was to examine the problems of a multi-cultural family counseling as a support for the families in order to suggest efficient education programs for counselors. For these reasons, this study used interviews of three focus-groups consisting of 11 experts each other, and then the qualitative data was analyzed. The analysis of data was conducted by two doctors and one master and investigated by a multi-cultural counselor. As a result, 5 categories, 13 sub-categories, and 46 definitions were identified. Each five categories were the problems of multi-cultural counseling, effective multi-cultural counseling skill, the qualities of a counselor with multi-cultural attitude and recognition, multi-cultural knowledge factors and effective teaching methods. At last, implications, practical uses, and suggestions for future researches were also discussed in this study.

This study aims to examine the effects of teachers' critical consciousness on their attribution of cause and responsibility about multicultural students' school violence victimization and their prediction on students' school adjustment. To this end, we presented four scenarios depicting multicultural students' school violence victimization and measured teachers' critical consciousness, cause and responsibility attribution, and school adjustment prediction. Results showed that teachers endorsing higher levels of Egalitarianism tended to attribute causes and responsibility to situational factors, rather than to a multicultural adolescent being victimized by school violence. The levels of Perceived Inequality of critical consciousness did not have significant effects on these variables. Also, teachers with a higher level of Egalitarianism tended to predict multicultural adolescents' school adjustment more negatively. Based on the current findings, we discussed implications on teacher education for promoting teachers' multicultural competence, along with limitations and directions for future research.

The purpose of this current paper was to investigate into the trends and effects of green marketing in India and China with relations to ethnicity and cross cultural aspects. These two countries are fast developing and looks promising in terms of economic power but lack the green marketing consciousness compared to other well developed countries. Many measures are being taken by various industries for the promotion of green awareness in these countries. The two countries are fast developing in the area of green marketing. Green marketing should improve its methods utilizing the cultural differences that is evident from previous research. In the near future, more active green marketing targeting and informing consumers of environmental benefits will be needed by taking ethnicity into consideration for further heightening of overall environmental awareness and initiative.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the effects of a multicultural course on nursing students' multicultural acceptability and competency. Method: The research design for this study was a non-equivalent control group, non-synchronized pre- and post-test. The experimental group (n=28) took 13 weeks of the multicultural course, while the control group (n=28) received only regular classes over the same period. Pre- and post-tests were done to identify the effects of the program. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaires and analyzed using the PASW 18.0 program. Results: All indices of multicultural acceptability and competency in the experimental group were significantly higher than that of control group after the program, except for two: universality (a measure of multicultural acceptability) and multicultural awareness (a measure of multicultural competency). Conclusion: These results suggest that the multicultural course was effective in elevating the level of multicultural acceptability and competency among nursing students.

The purpose of this study is to develop the School Multicultural Climate(SMC) scale for students and to evaluate its reliability and validity. This study comprises of both qualitative and quantitative research. Preliminary items were developed based on the theoretical literature and interviews with students. The scale was evaluated with students in grades 4 through 6 in the seven elementary schools. Exploratory factor analysis was determined that the scale was composed of four components: Equal Status, Mutual Cooperation, Friendly Relations, Supportive Norms. The scale demonstrated that Cronbach's alpha=.943 for the internal consistency of total items. And the standard error of the measurement, another way of evaluating reliability, was 3.33. Criteria-related validity was evaluated by showing that the differences of the students' recognition of the school multicultural climate level, which depend on the availability of the multiculture-related policy, was statistically significant. The correlation analysis for the convergent validity was performed with the theoretically related variables such as self esteem and school adjustment. It was found that the SMC scale was a reliable and valid measure for evaluating the multicultural climate level of elementary school.

This research sought to study viewers' perception of migrant women who wed Korean men following these women's level of specialty as shown on multi-cultural TV program by focusing on university students. Post test control group design method was utilized to conduct analysis, which demonstrates that there was a significant difference between the viewers on the professional migrant women and on the non-professional migrant women when it comes to the categories such as, 'Migrant women have specialized skills', 'migrant women have outstanding communication skills' and 'migrant women are independent minded.' Because of the existence (or non-existence) of professional careers as shown on TV program can affect viewers' perception of migrant women, it is necessary to develop measures such as development of expert group's advising system and to guarantee migrant women's diversity.

In the 21th century, world citizens have more chances to meet and interact with people from different cultural or ethnic backgrounds than ever before. It is therefore inevitable that multiculturalism has become one of the integral part of music education. Educators in every field should make conscious efforts to provide opportunities and experiences for students so that they can adequately cope with these culturally diverse encounters. This study is to grasp the current state of multicultural education in the teacher education program in Korea and America. Also it is aimed to figure out the current multicultural music course offerings available for undergraduate music education majors at the selected 10 American Universities. It is expected that this study may suggest an idea of multicultural-world music education in teacher education.
