This study is to investigate the theoretical background of the content system for an integrated approach to multi-cultural education. It has been expanding to children from general family even though started to support children from multi-cultural family. Most of multi-cultural education programs would be their purpose as building the multi-cultural citizenship even though various multi-cultural education have been introduced. These programs had limited to apply western multi cultural education into Korea school, and Their focuses were not who is person to be morally educated in the multi cultural society. Thus, this study put emphasis on the necessity of and developed the content system for an integrated approach to multi-cultural education.

The number of multicultural families is on the rise worldwide. In this respect, the central government and municipal governments are also implementing and supporting multicultural-related policies. However, they are in progress, not as services needed for multicultural members but as policy issues. This causes multicultural members to fail to figure out the need of policies supported by the government or local governments, as well as to grasp the desire for what services in need are. In addition to this, many studies regarding multiculture are under way but few studies have been known so far as to multicultural business models. This study has suggested a final business model and strategy methods by designing, comparing and analyzing a business model needed for multicultural members through interviews with professionals and multicultural members with regard to mulcultural policies and examples in Korea.

This study analyzed the cultural competency and demand for a multicultural education program among nursing college students. The participants were 278 college students gathered through convenience sample method. Data were collected from November, 19 to 30, 2012 and analyzed using SPSS/PC Win 12.0 program. The major findings were as follows, First, the mean scores of cultural competency and demand for a multicultural education program were 2.8 and 3.9. respectively. Second, cultural competency scores of students varied with multicultural educational course experience. Third, demand for a multicultural education program varied in accordance with student's views of the necessity of multicultural education. Our results suggest that, courses focusing on understanding multicultural clients are needed and highly desired by nursing students.

This study aimed to analyze a relationship between a cognitive level of multicultural acceptability and multicultural attitude of Multicultural Family Support Center workers. As a result of the research with regard to this study purpose, there was a difference between variables after analyzing whether it is different between multicultural acceptability depending on social statistics characteristic of Multicultural Family Support Center workers, and multicultural attitude. In addition, it was shown that there was a significant relationship between variables in the result of analyzing the effect of Multicultural Family Support Center workers' multicultural perception, ability to form multicultural relationship, and factors of multicultural sympathy on openness, receptiveness, and flexibility of multicultural attitude. From the result, this research has significance that it suggests a politic alternative to improve the level of multicultural attitude of Multicultural Family Support Center workers.

This study suggests that multicultural education should not be limited to educational sites such as kindergartens. Since the multicultural attitudes and consciousness of young children are unconsciously acquired through parents' words and school education, they emphasized the implementation of multicultural education at home and kindergarten. In other words, multicultural education should not only be carried out in the field of education, but also in the homes of children. However, there are still few studies on multicultural education for parents. In this regard, this study highlights the importance of parents on multicultural education by examining the socio-economic status of parents with early childhood children and their actual experiences in multicultural education. The goal of this study is to analyze topics discussed in academic papers on multiculture in Korea to figure out research trends in the field. In order to do topic analysis, LDA (Latent Dirichlet Allocation)-based topic modeling methods are employed. Through the analysis, it is possible to track topic changes in the field and it is found that topics related to 'social integration' and 'multicultural education in schools' are hot topics, and topics related to 'cultural identity and nationalism' are cold topics among top five topics in the field.

The purpose of this study was to explore degree of multicultural openness, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability, and multicultural efficacy, the factors influencing of multicultural efficacy of nursing students and to provide the basic data to increased multicultural efficacy. This research involved 299 nursing students in B and Y city. Data were collected from May 8, 2017 to 28. Data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. In results of the study, multiculture efficacy appeared as $3.92{\pm}0.54$. There were significant difference in multicultural efficacy with age, experience of class with multicultural students, experience of other languages class, foreign friends. There were positive correlation between multicultural efficacy and multicultural openness(r=.396, p<.001), between multicultural efficacy and multicultural acceptability(r=.471, p<.001), negative correlation between multicultural efficacy and preoccupation (r=-.464, p<.001). Regression analysis showed 36.1% of variance in nursing students multicultural efficacy can by age, foreign friends, preoccupation, multicultural acceptability. Through this research requires the fellow study to determine the various factors affecting multicultural efficacy of nursing students. And it is necessary to development education and program that can enhance multicultural efficacy is required.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of multicultural education for pre-childhood educators in Korean and Chinese, and to explore the direction of multicultural education. The subjects of this study were Korean and Chinese college students enrolled in the Department of Early Childhood Education, and the t-test and chi-square test were conducted on the questionnaire. The results of the study were as follows: First, there was no significant difference in the two groups' interests in multiculturalism and their perceptions of multicultural children and their families, but there were some differences. Overall, Korean students were positive about multicultural children and families. Second, there was no significant difference between the two groups in the recognition of the necessity of multicultural education, but Korean students were more positive. Third, the need for multicultural education did not differ between the two groups. Through this study, it was found that in order to revitalize multicultural education, it should be made in the direction of improving multicultural efficacy with practice-oriented education rather than theory-based education.

In this study, we identified the components of cultural competency in college students according to their multicultural experiences. We collected the data from 663 college students located in Gyeonggi-do in September, 2016. Using the SPSS/WIN 21.0 version, we analyzed the data with descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA. Our results are as follows. The average of cultural competency is 3.48 points, In the components of cultural competency, cultural awareness is highest at an average of 3.78 points, followed by cultural attitude which has an mean value of 3.73 points. Also, the cultural competency based on the multicultural experience, it is significantly higher when the subjects contact with multicultural people and take a class related to multiculture than the subjects who don't have those kind of experiences. This results indicate that it is necessary to develop various programs for college students' multicultural experiences, because those multicultural experiences improve students' cultural competency.

농어촌지역의 인구감소로 인한 인력난 해소를 위하여 국가적으로 농·어가당 외국인 고영허용 인원을 확대하고 농가의 경우 계절 근로제도 대상 적용 작물 제한을 없애는 등 인력확보를 위해 노력하고 있다. 외국인 근로자와 국제결혼 증가로 인하여 국내 체류 외국인 수는 지속적으로 증가추세를 보이고 있으며, 코로나 19 이전 2019년 12월 말에 체류 외국인이 252만 명으로 대한민국 전체 인구의 4.9%에 해당하며, 통상 학계에서는 외국인 비율이 5%를 넘으면 다문화사회로 분류한다. 지속적인 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구의 증가에 따라 지역사회에서 갈등이 발생하고 있으며, 다문화사회로 분류된 상황에서 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구를 지역사회의 일원으로 인식하고 갈등을 적극적으로 해결할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 남해군 미조권역의 사례를 바탕으로 외국인 근로자 및 다문화 가구와 원주민과의 갈등관리를 위한 시설물 및 프로그램 계획, 현안갈등과 잠재적갈등 관리 방안을 제안하여 어촌지역 다문화사회의 발전을 도모할 수 있는 실질적인 연구 수행의 의의가 있다.
