아바타 시스템과 한국의 복식문화 접목을 통한 "디지털 복식 아바타" 개발에 관한 연구

  • 세계적으로 인터넷 이용 인구는 2002년 2월 현재 5억 4천 4백만여명에 이르고 있으며, 우리나라의 인터넷 이용 인구는 2001년 12월말 자료에 의하면 2천4백3십8만여명에 달하는 것으로 보고되고 있다(한국 인터넷정보센터통계보고서, 2002). 또한, 네오위즈는 작년 한 해 아바타 매출 100억원을 돌파, 다모임은 지난해 12월 한달간의 아바타 매출이 3억 6000만원에 달하였으며, 다움(Daum)의 경우 서비스 개시 15일 만에 일일 발생 매출이 1천만원 돌파, 현재 1일 3천500만원의 수익을 올리는 등, 아바타 선두 업체 뿐 아니라 후발 주자들도 큰 수익 창출하고 있다(Economy21- 2002.04.25). 올 한해 아바타 시장규모는 800억원-1000억원으로 예상되고 있으며, 이러한 시장 증대에 따라 기존 캐릭터 업체들이 구축계약 위주에서 서비스 제휴사업으로 아바타모델 제안 및 시장영업이 증대되고 있다. 즉, 아바타 시장은 구축되어 있는 것이 아니라 계속적으로 확대되어 가고 있음. 또한 아바타산업은 인터넷 인프라의 확산과 더불어 아바타의 호응 또한 급격히 상승하고 있으며, 단순히 사이버 세계에서의 분신으로서의 역할에서 벗어나 다양한 부가가치를 구현하는 아바타의 등장으로 아바타의 확산은 계속적인 추세이다. 또한 아바타는 게임, 채팅, 일정관리등 인터넷 전 분야에 걸쳐 Cyber Agent활용도가 확산되고 있으며, 아바타 시장은 초기 일본형 애니메이션 아바타에서 벗어나 아바타와 패션, 아바타와 문화의 접목에 대한 관심이 상승되고 있으며 이로 인한 신규시장이 창출되고 있다 이러한 디지털 시대로의 급격한 발전은 복식문화를 디지털 문화컨텐츠 사업화로의 그 발전방향을 제시하고 있다.2cm 적용하고, 진동두께 계산식은 (B/8-1.5)+2cm를 적용함으로써 진동깊이와 진동두께의 편차가 작아짐으로 인해 소매부위와 진동부위의 맞음새를 향상시켰다. 3) 가슴둘레의 증가에 따라 등길이에 앞길이 치수를 증가시키는 계산식을 설정하여 앞가슴둘레의 맞음새를 향상시켰다. 4) Plus-size여성의 경우 허리부분의 신체적합성을 높이기 위하여 사이드 판넬(side panel)의 재킷원형으로 하였다. 앞 허리와 배 부분의 지방 침착이 크므로 앞 허리둘레 다아트 폭과 앞판 사이드 판넬(side panel) 솔기 다아트 폭을 작게 설정하고, 뒤판 사이드 판넬 솔기 폭을 크게 설정하였다. 5) 어깨끝점 사이길이는 다른 부위의 체지방 침착과 같이 비례적으로 증가하지 않으므로 표준체형에 비해 좁게 설정하였다. 보여주어 우리나라의 선호 질감과는 차이가 있었다. 실제 판매율을 살펴본 결과 주관적 질감 이미지 평가의 선호도와의 비교에서 약간의 차이가 있었는데, 이는 질감 외에 가격이 구매에 영향을 미쳤기 때문으로 분석되었다., 2002; Huun et al, 2001).의 특징이라 할 수 있겠다. 대한 자부심과 국제 사회에서 차별화 할 수 있는 한국 복식 디자인에 독창성과 창조성을 표현하는 중요한 영역임을 인식할 수 있었다.와 보호인자를 재확인할 필요가 있다고 보며 본 연구의 결과는 지역민의 대장직장암 예방을 위한 영양교육 자료로서 활용될 수 있다고 본다. 관여도에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 유지되어 쾌적역이 향상된 것으로 사려된다.하였으며, 효율적인 색채 정보로서 활용될 수 있는 패션 색채 팔레트를 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.′, aesthetic of ′unity in multiplicity′, a

  • Nowadays, display-contents are developing to an informative environment. that is under the logic of the media operating system. To perceive the media-environments and produce the cultural contents, the cultural designers seek to understand a skin structure from making up for shape. To appreciate operating system in data and database is not only systematization of form and contents of visual contents but also variety contents into multiple-platform and integrative environments. These days, the spectacle exhibition try to express for their surface design between algorithm of data and database. the information is expressing aesthetic which means presents the integrated contents through the play instinct environment to end-user. That was given web or game to participation is developing with the cellular device and ubiquitous computing system. in the linear perspective, the end-user should be immerse more and more hyper-simulation system because of the operating algorithm of database. To do this, human have need to get the information-ability from multi-platform society. In the virtual environment, database offer the experience of an unheard-of event to end-user that prepare the participants the circumstances priority of signifiers.   • This paper is written to introduce and review Shinji Matsunaga's The Aesthetics of Video Games which published in Japan in 2018. Shinji Matsunaga has studied video games from a philosophical and aesthetic perspective. In The Aesthetics of Video Games, he took video games as a hybrid form of traditional games. Shinji Matsunaga particularly notes that video games can design human behaviors and experiences. From this point of view, he tries to construct a theoretical framework that will be able to describe the ways of signification in games and fiction respectively. In previous studies, video games have been mainly discussed in the context of cultural studies and entertainment culture in Japan. The Aesthetics of Video Games is distinguished from the previous studies in the following points. First, The Aesthetics of Video Games pioneered the method of studying video games in art theory. Second, it established various types of relationships with video games and traditional aesthetic concepts. Third, this book connects new concepts that emerged in the age of artificial intelligence to video games as an aesthetic action. Through this work, not only video games were discussed academically, but also the fields of aesthetics and art were expanded. The Aesthetics of Video Game is like a collection of philosophical concepts for video games. Through this book, it can be said that the path for artificial intelligence to approach human secrets is closer than before.

  • Recently, typography in Korea has been varied. Among them, after 2005 a new trend caligraphy has appeared and in reality people discussed that this has been occurred as a coincidence. However, as a view of one who is interested in Hangeul typography, born of Hangeul caligraphy is not a coincidence. It is because computerizing of Hangeul has been later than U.S. or Japan. Korea was colonized by Japan and experienced the Korean War and economical independence got late and cultural independence got late as well. Our language, Hangeul was independenced in the beginning of 1990's after computer was introduce and original letter of Hangeul was scanned and basic standard was built. From the end of 80's there were many efforts for independence of Hangeul but there were problems on hardware side than software side. In the beginning of 90's basic fonts such as Myungjo or Gothic of Choi Jung-ho's fonts were set for computer hardware, but later 90's can be called as a time for distributing designed fonts for that new fonts that were planned and applying new ideas on fonts were done. In 2000 the two major font company in Korea Sandoll Communication and Yoon Design Institute made a fonts such as When branding had to be done by designer, typo must be written so adjusting size and moving baseline made old style and caligraphy fonts to be born. These cycling process has been natural motive for nowadays' caligraphy and these two major companies' role has made caligraphy to be popular.

  • In the late 19th century, the desire for pursuing new arts and aesthetics was evolveld and developed in various aspects in europe, and it appealed the characteristics of renovating society such as the arts and crafts movement in England. Vienna was developed in the center of the European empire under these environments, and provided the background as the main center for young artists. Vienna Art Nouveau blossomed under the mind of art pioneers that is "all arts are equal" and the Viennese political, economic, and cultural environments. They tried to show people new aesthetics under the mass-production by accepting machine. The goal of this study is to search the Secessions's role and the environment that make the base of modern aesthetics and differentiate from other Art Nouveau movements in Europe and to verify the meaning and value of that.

Digital Hologram Compression Technique By Hybrid Video Coding (하이브리드 비디오 코팅에 의한 디지털 홀로그램 압축기술)

  • According as base of digital hologram has been magnified, discussion of compression technology is expected as a international standard which defines the compression technique of 3D image and video has been progressed in form of 3DAV which is a part of MPEG. As we can identify in case of 3DAV, the coding technique has high possibility to be formed into the hybrid type which is a merged, refined, or mixid with the various previous technique. Therefore, we wish to present the relationship between various image/video coding techniques and digital hologram In this paper, we propose an efficient coding method of digital hologram using standard compression tools for video and image. At first, we convert fringe patterns into video data using a principle of CGH(Computer Generated Hologram), and then encode it. In this research, we propose a compression algorithm is made up of various method such as pre-processing for transform, local segmentation with global information of object image, frequency transform for coding, scanning to make fringe to video stream, classification of coefficients, and hybrid video coding. Finally the proposed hybrid compression algorithm is all of these methods. The tool for still image coding is JPEG2000, and the toots for video coding include various international compression algorithm such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and H.264 and various lossless compression algorithm. The proposed algorithm illustrated that it have better properties for reconstruction than the previous researches on far greater compression rate above from four times to eight times as much. Therefore we expect that the proposed technique for digital hologram coding is to be a good preceding research.

Study of emoticon as an emotional sign under the digital communication environment (디지털 커뮤니케이션 환경에서 감성기호로서 이모티콘에 관한 연구)

  • The communication environment made by digital technologies has made it possible to exchange information and deliver messages fast and easily among people of various classes in virtual space beyond time and space. Net-generation, who is accustomed to this virtual space, couldn't be satisfied with the linear text-oriented language any more, and began to make signs by use of computers in order to differentiate itself from others and to express its desires. Among the signs, emoticon created by joint of popular culture and digital communication centering around young generation is a new visual sign and emotional sign that can deliver a sender's feelings contained in a message. This paper has studied social phenomena, their relationships with emoticon and background of its creation through documentary review of media development, changes in the communication environment and popular culture. Furthermore, it has analyzed the meaningful action and roles of emoticon as a sign in terms of semiotics and also, studied a possibility of using emoticon as a new emotional sign. The study results say that emoticon can play the roles of a non-linguistic sign just like general signs that make mutual exchange through meaningful action, and also that it can be used to effectively deliver messages not only in virtual space, but also in advertising, posters, magazines and CI. However, emoticon is better at emotional expressions yet than other textual signs or visual signs, but in order to position itself as a universal and popular sign, emotional expressions should be clear, any difference in understanding messages should be removed, and message delivery should be more efficient.

  • The emergence of new communication media, digital, is something of a wonder, as well as a cultural tension. The industrial technologies that dramatically expand human abilities are being developed much faster than the speed of adaptation by humans. Without an exception, it creates new contents and form of the culture by shaking the very foundation of the notion about human beings. Korean broadcasting environment has stepped into the era of multi-media, multi-channel as the digital technology separated the media into network, cable, satellite and internet. In this digital culture, broadcasting, as a medium of information delivering and communication, has bigger influence than ever. Such changes in broadcasting environment turned the TV viewers into new consumers who participate and play the main role in active communication by choosing and using the media. This study is trying to systemize the question about the core identity of broadcasting through brand as the consumers stand in the center of broadcasting with the power to select channel. The story schema theory can be applied as a cognitive psychological tool to approach the active consumers in order to explain the cognitive processes that are related to information processing. It is a design with stories, which comes up as a case of a brand's story telling. The range of this study covers the current issue and educational programs in network TV during the period of May and August of year 2005. The cases of Korean and foreign programs were compared by the station each program is broadcasted. This study concludes that it is important to take the channel identity into the consideration in the brand strategy of each program. Especially, the leading programs of a station must not be treated as a separate program that has nothing to do with the station's identity. They must be treated to include the contents and form that builds the identity of the channel. Also, this study reconfirmed that building a brand of the anchor person can play as an important factor in the identity of the program's brand.

Development of Safety Clothing for Sports and Entertainment for Adolescent (청소년을 위한 스포츠 및 엔터테인먼트 안전의복의 개발)

  • This study developed safety clothing that is essential for adolescent to protect their bodies from accidents, pursue activities and individuality. Therefore, the developed safety clothing was first based on international standards, while changing design to emphasize creativity, activity, and functionality. Two suits of boy's clothes and a girl's suit were developed as safety clothing for sportswear, along with two pairs of girl's clothes and a pair of boy's clothes for entertainment. It was confirmed that the difference in visibility was revealed by testing under different lighting conditions. Second, the survey on adolescents indicated no significant gender difference in sportswear. Round shirt+shorts for both boys and girls were the most preferred for ball game sportswear. However, there was a significant difference by gender in the design of safety clothing for entertainment. Male students preferred jump suit=cape+pants the most, and female students preferred jump suit>cape+pants in the order (p<0.05). In the safety clothes with the highest preference for entertainment, there was no gender difference. All students preferred the jump suit at the most. Checking at each school level, it was found that both middle and high school students preferred jump suit designs, and in safety clothing, middle school students preferred high-neck shirt blouse+tight skirt, and high school students preferred jump suits. Third, 35.5% responded that they would wear it more if current safety clothing is improved. This indicated the necessity of developing various safety clothing for adolescence.

  • On-line game gradually grew into a significant part in Korean culture due to rapid development of internet. As icons are utilized as interface, the concept of UI(User Interface) receives spotlight in playing games, and the play bug appears most frequently in MMORPG genre. The introduction of icons brought partial inefficiency in dividing screen sectors while playing games, which means play sector is reduced. On the meantime, components of UI possess different places so that cause considerable confusion to heavy users. This study attempts to analyze the top 5 commonly-played games and to understand the necessity and status of UI components by surveying heavy users. The result of this study shows that there is notable difference between UI of games on-service and preference of heavy users. This study could suggest UI of a better quality by restructuring and rearranging the UI components based on the heavy users' preference as shown in the survey. It is expected that this study can contribute to creating a more effective game play by eliminating possible changes of UI upon different games and realizing broader play sector.
