통영항 다목적부두 건설에 따른 해상교통안전진단 고찰

  • 통영항에 5,000DWT급 여객선과 일반화물선이 이용 가능한 다목적부두 건설을 위해 해상교통현황 조사 및 측정, 통항 및 접 이안안전성, 계류안전성 등과 같은 해상교통안전진단을 실시하였다. 연안항으로 지정 운영되고 있는 통영항 다목적부두의 안전진단 수행 과정에서 부각된 항만 및 수역시설에 대한 안전관리 체계의 미비점, 전담 부서의 부재, 임의도선구의 문제점 등을 고찰하고자 한다. 특히 국내 연안항 항만개발 사업의 대부분이 해당 도 시 군이 직접 시행하는 경우가 많아 항만개발과 수역시설의 안전관리사이의 공백이 발생하고 있어, 향후 연안항 안전관리체계 전반에 대한 구조적 개선이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

The Development of a Multi-Purpose Irradiator and the Characteristic of Dose Distribution (다목적 방사선 조사장치 개발 및 선량분포특성)

  • The design, construction and performance test of a convenient multi-purpose irradiator is described. A multi-purpose irradiator using Cesium-137 has been developed for studies of low dose radiation effects in biology and for calibration of Thermo Luminescent dosimeter(TLD). During the operation, three rods of radioactive material which are 10cm in length revolve 180 degrees and irradiate biological samples, or TLD, and return to their shielded position, after the programmed time. A programmable Logic Controller(PLC) controls the sequence of operation, interlock, motor rotation and safety system. The rotation speed of biological samples can vary up to 20 RPM. A real time monitoring system was also incorporated to check and control the operation status of the irradiator. The capacity of the irradiation chamber was 4.5 liters. The isodose distribution at arbitrary vertical planes was measured by using film dosimetry. The dose-rate was 0.13 cGy/min in air and 0.11 cGy/min in water equivalent material in the case of Cesium-137. Range of activity was 2 Ci. The homogeneity of dose distribution in the chamber was ${\pm}$7%. The actual radiation level on the surface was within permissible levels. The irradiator had a maximum 0.35 mR/min radiation leakage on its surface.

The Priority Analysis of Reserve Berth in Gwangyang Port Using Fuzzy-AHP (Fuzzy-AHP를 이용한 광양항 컨테이너부두 여유선석 활용대안 우선순위 분석)

  • Competition between international Hub ports has been more and more intense. In order to invigorate itself, Gwang-Yang port has been making multilateral efforts. However, it has not still reached 300Millions TEU which is the standard to be permitted as a self-reliance Hub port. Therefore, a functional modification of berth should be considered. This study suggests to transform container berths to general berths. This article is focused on reserve berth mode of Gwang Yang hub port and selected three kinds of berths as alternative subjects of the study: general berth, exclusive berth, and multipurpose berth. This research has conducted that The subjects of the survey were in relation with Logistics as professional mutually group about Gwang-Yang hub port. The measurements of this survey were measure section and factor. Also, Fuzzy AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied to the survey. According to the result, by measuring weight values of alternatives, the best favored one was multipurpose berth expect stability (32.6%), Exclusive berth was graded the most among the alternatives. Also, based on total weight value, the order of priority is as follows: multipurpose berth(38.2%), exclusive port(33.7%), general berth(28.1%).

Changes of multi-purpose solutions for soft contact lens depending on using period or keeping temperature (사용기간 및 온도에 따른 소프트콘택트렌즈 다목적용액의 변화)

  • To investigate changes of multi-purpose solutions for soft contact lens(MPS) depending on using period or keeping temperature, we evaluate four brands of MPS. No significant difference was seen in protein deposit removing efficacy after samples had used for 24 weeks and kept at $4^{\circ}C$, $20^{\circ}C$ or $30^{\circ}C$. The pH values of the samples of 4 brands measured weekly over the 24 week testing period. The initial average pH value of samples were 7.0, 7.5, 7.6 or 8.2. One brand of MPS was in the range of the threshold for ocular awareness, which is outside the zone of 6.6 ~ 7.8. During the testing period, the pH value were decreased in using period-dependent manner. At the 24th week, the average pH values of samples turned to 6.6, 7.2, 7.2 or 7.7. However, the difference of keeping temperature was not associated with decreased levels of pH values. After 24 weeks, one of total 36 samples was contaminated by bacteria. Furthermore, the change of components was shown after 24 weeks in the analysis using thin layer chromatography and the analysis of UV absorption pattern. The results of our study provides that the keeping temperature of MPS is not the important factor of changes of MPS, but the using period of MPS can cause contact lens wearers discomfort.

  • 조사후 시험시설(Post Irradiated Examination Facility, PIEF)은 내진범주 1 급 구조물로서 현재 각종 실험 및 연구가 진행중인 원자력 안전관련시설물 이다. 한편 이 건물로부터 30m - 120m 정도 떨어져 있는 다목적연구로 (Korea Multipurpose Research Reactor, KMRR) 및 조사재시험시설 (Irradiation Material Examination Facility, IMEF)의 건조사업을 위하여 기 초암반의 굴착작업을 수행할 경우 발파작업에 따른 그 진동 및 폭풍압영향 이 염려되어, 그 안전성 평가를 위하여 시험발파를 수행해야 할 필요가 제기 되었다. 우선 운전중인 원자력안전 시설물에서의 발파에 따른 진동허용 기준 을 설정하고, 둘째로 거리에 따른 폭발량을 경험식에 따라 잠정 결정한 후, 세째로 시험발파에 의한 진동 측정을 수행하여 그 영향을 평가하고, 끝으로 이에 따라 거리별 제한 폭발량을 결정한후 실제 본발파에 적용하고자 한다. 이로써 운전중인 원자력 안전관련시설물인 PIEF의 안전 운전을 도모하고 KMRR및 IMEF 시설의 건조를 원만하게 이룰 수 있을 것이다.

  • 다목적연구로 HANARO를 이용한 압력용기 재료 조사시험에 이용될 계장캡슐(Instrumented Capsule)의 열적, 역학적 특성분석이 수행되었다. 캡슐에 장입될 조사시편의 온도평가는 GENGTC 와 HEATING 7.2f를 이용 계산하였다. 또한 이들 온도분포로 인하여 발생하는 캡슐외통과 End Plug에서의 응력해석은 전산코드 ANSYS를 이용 수행하고, 냉각수압에 의한 캡슐본체의 좌굴응력을 계산함으로서 강도평가를 하였다.

Basic Study for Multi-purpose Park Model Development -Focusing on Analysis of Actual Condition of Children's Park- (다목적공원 모형개발을 위한 기초연구 -어린이공원 이용실태분석을 중심으로-)

  • This study suggests that the diversity of parks is necessary because the number of children, who are the main users in children's parks, is decreasing and the use of parks by older people is increasing. In particular, the present aging society is trying to propose a multi-purpose park to solve the problem of the elderly leisure. To do this, this study surveyed domestic and foreign children's parks and selected study sites to understand the usage patterns of children's parks. As a result of surveying the location of the park to select the study sites, most children's parks were found mostly in single family housing areas and multi-family housing areas. As a result of the survey, it was found that the children's parks consisted of streets and areas by the 'City Parks and Greenery Act' and they were uniform. This paper presents basic data for the development of a model for producing a multipurpose park that can be used for children's parks by the elderly. The subjects of this study were selected from 7 districts of Daegu city, which were classified into single family housing areas and multi-family housing areas. As a result, the arrangement of various facilities in the children's park is insufficient, and it was uniform without a design motive and contents. Therefore, the utilization rate of various age groups could be increased by developing a multi-purpose park model for a children's park.

A Study on Individual Characteristics and Daily Activity of Housewives in Kwangju City (광주시 주부의 개인 속성과 일상행동에 관한 연구)

  • A Study on individual Characteristics and Daily Activities of Housewives in the City of Kwangju. This study examines housewives' daily activities, focusing upon individual characteristics. The data used in this study are based on the fuestionaire survey, asking of personal trip for the weekdays and the weekend. Daily activities are classified into 7 categories and individual characteristics are revealed by age, occupation, a degree of education, number of family, and the residential environment. The results of this study are as follows: 1) The relations between daily activities and individual characteristics are influenced by housewife's occupation. Daily activities of housewives who have jobs are different from those who do not have jobs for a weekday as well as for a weekend. 2) Housewives' daily activities show very busy and vigorous on Saturday. 3) Housewives who are employed are willing to make mutipurpose trips on Saturday. 4) For a weekday, housewives' daily activities are inclined to make one cycle trip in a day, and the more trip cycles are, the more multipurpose trips are made. 5) The relationships between daily activities and individual characteristics show the pattern of WH, WLH, LHLH as it can be grouped.

Construction of Multi-purpose Hazard Information Map Based on Digital Image Using Geospatial Information (지형공간정보를 활용한 수치영상기반의 다목적 재해정보지도 구축)

  • As global warming has caused the number of abnormal changes in climate to increase throughout the world, much damage has occurred recently in Korean Peninsula which results from unexpected heavy rains, landslides, and floods from typhoons. To prevent and cope with these annually repeated natural hazards, the overall improvements are needed, including systematic management of the existing natural hazard information and improvement of hazard information. In this study, multi-purpose hazard information map based on digital image was constructed as an effective way to enhance hazard management considering regional characteristics and hazard response capabilities in the field. Multi-purpose hazard information map with a new concept by fusion of geospatial information and hazard attribute information is able to support quick decision for hazard management making and development of hazard information system.
