A Study on the Multilingual Speech Recognition for On-line International Game (온라인 다국적 게임을 위한 다국어 혼합 음성 인식에 관한 연구)

  • The requests for speech-recognition for multi-language in field of game and the necessity of multi-language system, which expresses one phonetic model from many different kind of language phonetics, has been increased in field of game industry. Here upon, the research regarding development of multi-national language system which can express speeches, that is consist of various different languages, into only one lexical model is needed. In this paper is basic research for establishing integrated system from multi-language lexical model, and it shows the system which recognize Korean and English speeches into IPA(International Phonetic Alphabet). We focused on finding the IPA model which is satisfied with Korean and English phoneme one simutaneously. As a result, we could get the 90.62% of Korean speech-recognition rate, also 91.71% of English speech-recognition rate.

  • In this paper a polarimetric airborne SAR measurement has been used to study the radar polarimetric characteristics in the intertidal area on the south coastof the Korea. The L-band NASA/JPL airborne SAR (AIRSAR) data, which were acquired on the intertidal zone during PACRIM-II Korea campaign on September 30, 2000, were used for this research. The most intertidal zones of Yeoja Bay are composed of muddy soils with high silt and clay percentage. Models of microwave scattering from rough surfaces, i.e., semi-empirical model, and Extended Bragg model, were applied to investigate the surface characteristics of intertidal zones.

  • This study is concentrated on the development of high speed multi-object image processing algorithm in real time. Recently, the use of vision system is rapidly increasing in inspection and robot's position control. To apply the vision system, it is necessary to transform the physical coordinate of object into the image information acquired by CCD camera. Thus, to use the application of the vision system to the inspection and robot's position control in real time, we have to know the position of object in the image plane. Particularly, in case of rigid body using multi-cue to identify its shape, the each position of multi-cue must be calculated in an image plane at the same time. To solve these problems, the image processing algorithm on the position of multi-cue is developed.

  • In this paper, a geometric nonlinear analysis procedure of the beam-column element including multi-noded cable element in extension of companion paper (Kim et al., 2005) is presented. First, a stiffness matrix was derived about the beam-column element that considers the second effect of the initial force supposing the curved shape at each time-step, with Hermitian polynomials as the shape function. Second, the multi-noded cable element was also subjected to the tangent stiffness matrix. To verify the geometric nonlinearity of this newly developed multi-noded cable-truss element, the Innovative Prestressed Support (IPS) system using this theory was analysed by geometric nonlinear method and the results were compared with those produced by linear analysis.

A Round Robin Study of Solid Content Test and Applicability Estimation of FT-IR Analysis for Chemical Admixtures (다자비교시험을 통한 화학혼화제 고형분량 시험법의 신뢰성 및 FT-IR 분석에 대한 효용성 평가)

  • Acceptance criteria for chemical admixtures of cement concrete were investigated in domestic and international specifications. The reliability was verified for solid content test method of chemical admixture examined statistical analysis by round robin test. The applicability of FT-IR spectroscopy for qualitative measurement of multi-compound chemical admixtures verified. From solid content experimental results, outlier analysed using Cochran, Grubbs and Dickson's Q test. Repeatability and reproducibility standard deviation for solid content results showed 0.25 and 0.098% respectively according to KS A ISO 5725-2 procedure, it can be confirmed reliability of test methods. FT-IR spectrum of liquefied or oven-dried chemical admixtures condition showed big differences. It is needed that the FT-IR analysis is performed on dry material. However there's no difference with the applicability of FT-IR spectroscopy for multi-compound chemical admixtures. So the utility of method analysis could not identify.

  • This study analyzed the relationship between stress and academic attitude multicultural youth, and cope with stress social support, and to understand the relationship between the parameters of psychological Hi feeling, and for more efficient guidance Set the structural equation model for verifying the relationship between the factors that provide the basic data to verify the relationship between fit and Henin models through systematic analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, we examined the difference between the factors of stress due to the demographic Henin multicultural youth. The difference between the stress corresponding to the average income of the grade and families was observed. However, differences in the stress in accordance with the residence period is significantly different from stress for participation in relationships between classes was observed. Second, the stress of multi cultural youth, psychological Hello feeling to cope with stress is sound had the effect of (-). However, social support, stress coping, that there is an effect of the parameters of the positive (+) revealed the relationship between the both of psychological Hello feeling of stress and academic attitude.

  • The concept of Service Node as the network element which can provide the multiparty multimedia services based on the ISDN was presented in last study. In this study, a multiparty connection service system(Service Node and terminals) was designed using the concepts, procedure, function, and structure of Service Node given above. Based on this, a small scale experimental model giving multiparty call connection control and voice service control function was implemented and tested, which proved the applicability of the concept and validity of the procedure of the Service Node. The experimental model of service system for 4 subscriber capacity was composed of a Service Node emulator and terminals with general S-interface card. The goal of implementation and testing was concentrated of the verification of the proposed functions and procedures of service system and the test results told us that the proposed concept is adequate.

한지 도침처리에 따른 광택도 및 강도적 성질 변화

  • 본 연구에서는 한지가공공정의 하나인 도침공정을 현대의 칼렌다링 공정과 비교 분석을 실시한다. 도침은 커다란 나무뭉치를 사용하여 반복적으로 여러 장이 겹쳐 진 한지를 두두림으로서 한지 표면을 평활하게 하며, 광택도를 높이는 효과를 볼 수 있다. 나무뭉치는 밑면이 평활해야만 할 것이다. 보통 한지 제조업자들은 경험 을 토대로 얼마만큼의 도침이 필요한지 결정하고 실시하곤 한다. 이러한 도침공정 에서 현대의 칼렌다링이 할 수 없는 중요한 공정이 존재한다면, 현대의 초지기에도 이러한 원리를 적용함으로써 효과적인 종이의 품질개선을 이룰 수 있는 여지가 충 분히 있다고 판단된다. 한지에 있어서 도침의 역할이 무었인지, 도침은 칼렌다링으 로 대치할 수 있는 지 둥을 비교 검토하였다. 도침공정 연구를 위하여 라이너지 한 종류, 백상지 한종류, 최근에 제조된 전통 한지 세 종류를 사용하였다. 라이너지와 백상지는 일반 제지공장에서 제조되는 방 식을 그대로 사용하여 기계 칼렌다를 통과한 샘플을 얻었으며 칼렌다를 통과하지 않은 라이너지와 백상지를 특별히 같은 지종에서 얻어서 실험을 실시하였다. 기계 칼렌다링을 하지않은 라이너지와 백상지 세 종류의 전통한지는 실험실 칼렌다를 통과시켰고, 또 각각에 도침을 실시하였다. 샘플들의 기본 물성과 처리조건을 표 1 에 정리하였다. 도침 공정에서 사용한 나무 뭉치의 무게는 약 64Kg 이며, 최대 높이 41cm 로 들어올려져 자유낙하에 의한 충격을 종이에 가하였고, 분당 충격횟수는 63회 였다. 라이너지는 도침 및 칼렌다에 의해 밀도가 서서히 증대되는 것을 볼 수 있었다 (그림 1). 도침은 칼렌다에 비해 밀도 증대에 효과적이지는 못하였다. 반면 백상 지에서는 도침이 기계 칼렌다나 실험실 칼렌다보다 현저히 크게 밀도를 증대시킴을 볼 수 있었다 (그림 2). 칼렌다는 종이를 높은 전단력과 압축력으로 변형시키는데 비해 도침은 단순히 압축 압력만을 종이에 가하는 것이 다르다고 볼 수 있는데, 라 이너지와 백상지가 같은 조건하에서 왜 이러한 큰 차이를 보이는 이유를 아직 알수 없다.

Hydrogen Storage Capacities of MOF-5 and Microporous Carbon: Effects of Pt Loading and Hybridization (MOF-5 및 마이크로다공성 카본의 수소 저장 성능: Pt 첨가 및 하이브리드화의 영향)

  • In this study, we demonstrated that, although hydrogen molecules can be adsorbed onto the adsorbent such as MOF and MC itself, the loading of noble metal such as Pt is necessary to enhance the $H_2$ storage capacity since $H_2$ molecules can be dissociatively adsorbed on Pt metal and migrated to high-surface-area adsorbent via the primary spillover. In addition, the hybrid material have been prepared coupling MOF-5 with Pt/MC through carbon bridges formed by sucrose polymerization/carbonization. That this material showed the highest $H_2$ uptake at room temperature and about 100 bar is believed to be associated with the secondary spillover effect. Thus, such a strategy is very promising in developing $H_2$ storage technology using porous adsorbents. However, further experiments should be carried out to explore the choice of bridge carbon, the hybridization method, the dispersion technique of noble metals, etc.

  • Today, demand for job training of married immigrants is increasing. This research aims to propose developmental Edu-Tech based on the demand for education contents and the characteristics of multicultural family. Based on analysis such as FGI(focus group interview) and expert interview, this paper presents a four methods for development of EduTech for multicultural people, such as language skills, the recommendation technology of customized training contents, contents design based on gamification and user experience design. This research contributes to the direction of the method to use EduTech as a tool for gaps in education and welfare state.
