A Performance Evaluation Model for TMN EMS with ATM Switching Systems (ATM교환기 TMN EMS의 성능 분석 모델)

  • This paper presents the queuing model for evaluating the performance of TMN EMS with ATM switching systems. TMS for managing ATM switching systems has a hierarchical structure that consists of managers at the top level, agents at the middle, and ATM switching systems at bottom. A manager communicates with several agents, and an agent manages an ATM switching system We define a queuing model in order to predict the capacity and performance for managers in EMS. By evaluating the queuing model, we can predict the average service time and capacity of EMS.

  • 최근 들어 지리 정보 시스템(GIS)의 사용이 점차 다방면화되고, 점차적으로 다양한 계층의 사용자가 접근을 하게 되면서 뛰어난 성능의 지리 정보 시스템이 점차적으로 요구되고 있다. 그러나, 이러한 고성능의 지리 정보 시스템의 사용은 고가의 운영체제와 지리 정보 시스템을 요구하고 있기 때문에 일반적인 형태의 서비스에는 쉽게 사용되기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 저가의 시스템 비용으로 지리 정보 시스템을 구축하기 위해 점차적으로 많이 사용되고 있는 저가의 안정적인 시스템인 Linux 환경에서 경량급이면서 성능이 뛰어난 Shareware DBMS를 사용하여 공간 데이터베이스 시스템을 설계 및 구현한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 공간 데이터베이스 시스템은 사용자 응용 프로그램이나 WEB 인터페이스에서 본 시스템에 접근하기 위한 인터페이스 관리자, 요청된 질의를 처리하기 위한 질의 관리자, 공간 데이터의 획득 및 공유를 위한 수입/지출 관리자, 공간 데이터를 처리하기 위한 공간 연산 관리자, 공간데이타에 대한 Collection을 처리하기 위한 Collection 관리자, 그리고 공간 데이터의 빠른 검색을 위한 인덱스 관리자로 구성된다.

  • In WSN, at the initial stage, sensor nodes are randomly deployed over the region of interest, and self-configure the clustered networks by grouping a bunch of sensor nodes and selecting a cluster header among them. Specially, in WSN environment, in which the administrator's intervention is restricted, the self-configuration capability is essential to establish a power-conservative WSN which provides broad sensing coverage and communication coverage. In this paper, we propose a communication coverage-aware cluster head election algorithm for Herearchical WSNs which consists of communication coverage-aware of the Base station is the cluster head node is elected and a clustering.

  • This power proposes a new sensorless drive system for the trapezoidal brushless DC motor generally requiring mechanical position or speed sensor. For this an indirect rotor position sensing method from the back emf waveform of non-conducting phase is explained. Back emf waveform of non-conducting is obtained from analysing terminal voltage created by making Y-connection. And an experiment is implemented with a driving system which use 87c196mc microcontroller having a peripheral associated with 3-phase signals and inverter composed of Power MOSFET. The experimental results show the validity and practicality of the proposed sensorless drive.

  • 본 논문은 정보거래 자동 중개 시스템을 위한 한국어 문형 표준안에 대하여 기술한다. 정보거래 자동 중개 시스템은 인터넷상에서 지식정보자산의 공급자와 수요자를 자동으로 연결해주는 시스템으로서 텍스트로 기술되는 수요자의 의도와 공급자의 지식정보 내용을 정확히 연결할 수 있는 신뢰성을 보장한 고품질의 정보검색 기술이 필수적이다. 그러나 자연어의 복잡성과 불규칙성은 정확한 언어처리 기술이 필수적인 고품질의 정보검색을 보장할 수 없다. 따라서 본 논문은 한국어 문장 표현 방식을 표준화하여 언어처리 기술 적용의 한계를 극복해보자는 데 그 목적이 있다. 또한 일반 사용자의 언어 표현을 문형 표준안으로 유도하는 방법에 대하여 기술한다. 문형 표준안의 구성은 표준 문형 표준 문형 유도 방법, 어휘부로 구성되어 있다.

  • The requirement for customized learning environments is increasing with the development of Web 2.0 technology To personalize services in E-learning, there are various functions available to the user. However, some components have fixed or inflexible functionality that limits what can be changed, and customization information has not been used for other purposes. In this paper, we propose an e-Space manager for the dynamic customization of learning environment control units. The proposed method can confirm which areas users have customized and how they have customized them. The advantage is that users can control their own learning environments, including not only the format, but also the content within the limits of the underlying system. The customization information is captured to confirm the competency model.

  • This paper proposes an agent-based adaptive tutoring system that monitors learning process of learners' and provides learning materials dynamically according to the analyzed learning character. Furthermore, it uses fuzzy concept to evaluate learners' ability and to provide learning materials appropriate to the level of learners'. For this, we design a courseware knowledge structure systematically and then construct a fuzzy level set on the basis of it considering importance of learning targets, difficulty of learning materials and relation degree between learning targets and learning materials. Using agent, monitoring continually the learning process of learners 'inferencing to offer proper hints in case of incorrect answer in learning assesment, composing dynamically learning materials according to the learning feature and the evaluation of assesment, our system implements effectively adaptive instruction system. Moreover, appling the fuzzy concept to the system could naturally consider and ideal with various and uncertain items of learning environment thus could offer more flexible and effective instruction-learning methods.

  • In this paper, we developed an virtual lecture to study digital logic circuits. The contents is intended fer the students without or with little knowledge about electrics or electronics. For the beginners, the lecture contains the basic electronics and basic circuit theory as well as the degital logic circuits to be more practical lecture. And we developed the virtual circuit lab which uses real-like devices, circuits and interactive objects for the students to experience practical digital circuits. With the features described above, this contents would be useful for the beginners who want to studying digital logic circuits.

  • The academic information analysis service is including automatic recommendation of reviewers and analysis of researchers' accomplishments. The service of recommendation of reviewers should be processed in a transparent, fair and accountable way. When selecting reviewers, the following information must be considered: subject of project, reviewer's maj or, expertness of reviewer, relationship between applicant and reviewer. The analysis service of researchers' accomplishments is providing statistic information of researcher, institution and location based on accomplishments including book, article, patent, report and work of art. In order to support these services, we designed ontology for academic information, converted legacy data to RDF triples, expanded knowledge appropriate to services using OntoFrame. OntoFrame is service framework which includes ontology, reasoning engine, triple store. In our study, we propose the design methodology of ontology and service system for academic information based on OntoFrame. And then we explain the components of service system, processing steps of automatic recommendation of reviewers and analysis of researchers' accomplishments.

  • This paper is a study on the methodology of making customized contents according to user 's tendency through the development of learning contents utilizing IT. A variety of learners around the world use mobile devices and mobile learning contents to conduct their learning activities in various fields, and foreign language learning is one of the typical mobile learning areas. Foreign language learning contents suggested in this study is constructed based on the learner's verbal and text information in accordance with the user's vocal tendency. It is necessary to find out a suitable method to translate the user's native language text into the target language and make it into user friendly content.
