Annotation Repositioning Methods in XML Documents (XML문서에서 어노테이션의 위치재생성 기법)

  • A robust repositioning method is required for annotations to always maintain proper positions when original documents were modified. Robust anchoring in the XML document provides better anchoring results when it includes features of structured documents as well as annotated texts. This paper proposes robust annotation anchoring method in XML document. To do this, this work presents annotation information as logical structure trees, and creates candidate anchors by analyzing matching relations between the annotation and document trees. To select the appropriate candidate anchor among many candidate anchors, this work presents several anchoring criteria based on the textual and label context of anchor nodes in the logical structure trees. As a result, robust anchoring is realized even after various modifications of contexts in the structured document.

  • The paper describes the efficient and agile design methodology for the smart phone application, so called the App. Despite the number of smart phones as well as their applications is rapidly being increased recently, the smart and easy methodology for App development is not well developed and not matured in use yet. Since the App is converted to programs or contents from the new ideas, especially, it is important to design and implement the App rapidly and systematically. In order to resolve this problem, we adopt the UI centered approach first of all, emphasizing user-efficient utilization of applications. And we also try to build the whole process in streamlined procedure, making each step reasonable, and the input and output for the step well organized. The design methodology described here is evaluated by designing popular sample application, Scheduler, and also compared with some well-known software design methodologies.

  • With many types of data generated in the shift of business environment as a result of growth of an organization or enterprise, there is a need to improve the data-processing efficiency in smarter means with a single domain model such as Data Lake. In particular, creating a logical single domain model from physical partitioned multi-site data by the finite resources of nature and shared economy is very important in terms of efficient operation of computing resources. Based on the advantages of the existing Data Lake framework, we define the CDA-Concept (connected data architecture concept) and functions of Data Lake Framework over Abyss Storage for integrating multiple sites in various application domains and managing the data lifecycle. Also, it performs the interface design and validation verification for Interface #2 & #3 of the connected data architecture-concept.

  • Embedded Controller which controls whole system is most important part of embedded system. Nowadays, new technique called SoC is more using than ASIC. But SoC have some problems. Because of long development time and high cost, it is hard to applying SoC to small and medium enterprise. So many companies use IP technique combined with embedded processor. High resolution inkjet marking system is printing system with embedded controller. It is used in various part of industry. But it has many problems such as printing quality, marking errors, system faults and so on. In this paper, we designed and implemented IP that can solve the printing quality problems. We analyzed total-logic-elements and timing by simulation. As a result of simulation, we could verified that output signals satisfied reference timing. Appling IP to high resolution inkjet marking system, we could get good quality printing message.

  • The key characteristic of video data is its spatial/temporal relationships. In this paper, we propose an content based video retrieval system based on hierarchical data structure for specifying the temporal semantics of video data. In this system, video data's hierarchical structure temporal relationship, inter video object temporal relationship, and moving video object temporal relationship can be represented. We also implemented these video data's temporal relationship into an object-relational database management system using inheritance, encapsulation function overloading, etc. So more extended and richer temporal functions can be used to support a broad range of temporal queries.

  • This thesis aims to show the design logics and the meta-design of a public restroom "Between You and Me." This work reinterprets a public restroom regarded as the typical public space by means of spatial agency's influences, on the assumption thor spatial agency controls the properties of public space. This thesis examines our representational system against the public space, and our specific experience in it with the conceptual model of meta-design. Meta-design is a design beyond the design usually we think of. Experiential meta-design, "Between You and Me" presented as the object of this thesis, is a constructive design project which converts our negative perception of the restroom to a new one, "interface." This project, composed of the surrealistic spatial arrangement, urges us to reconsider our fixed thoughts of the restroom and try a creative experience in it. Finally this thesis shows how the space's way of existence fixes our acts and thoughts, and what enables the repetitive acts and thoughts often emerged In our relations with the public space through a meta-design.c space through a meta-design.

  • In the previous work, we presented HDTS for locating logical errors in Java programs. The HDTS locates an erroneous method at an execution tree using an algorithmic program debugging technique and locates a statement with errors in the erroneous method using a step-wise program debugging. The technique can remove the unnecessary statements and nodes in debugging using a program slicing technique at the execution tree. So HDTS reduces the number of program debugging. In this paper, we design HDTS system for debugging java programs. We define small subset of Java language and design the translator that translates java source codes and the virtual machine that runs java programs. We design GUI(Graphical User Interface) for debugging.

  • 사용자 중심의 감성공학으로 다변화 되어가는 유비쿼터스환경에서 디자인 요소와 결합시키는 상호작용이 요구되고 있으며 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. IT융합기술을 이용하여 감성 디자인을 제공하는 것은 제품 서비스 전략의 중요한 요소이다. 본 논문에서는 정보 필터링을 이용한 감성공학적 자동차 디자인 지원 방법론을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 사용자에게 자신의 감성에 부합하는 자동차 디자인을 제공함으로써 이를 얻기 위한 시간과 비용을 줄여주고, 손쉽게 원하는 디자인 스타일에 접근하도록 한다. 현실의 상황을 활용하고 정보 필터링으로 디자인을 추천함으로써 사용자에게 지능화된 개인화 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 이를 사용자 인터페이스로 구축하여 논리적 타당성과 유효성을 검증하기 위해 실험적인 적용을 시도하고자 한다.

  • 웹 3D 환경을 기반으로 하고 있는 가상현실 분야의 연구들은 대부분 가상공간을 구축해놓고 사용자들로 하여금 가상공간을 항해함으로서 각종 정보들을 시각적으로 확인할 수 있는 정도의 기본 기능만을 지원하고 있는 것들이 많다. 본 논문은 이와 같은 기존 연구들의 단조로움을 보완하기 위한 하나의 방법으로 실제 캠퍼스 건물 하나를 그대로 가상공간에 구축하고 인공지능을 가진 아바타로 하여금 사용자가 필요로 하는 건물 정보를 시청각 데이터와 아바타의 동작으로 직접 보여줄 수 있는 캠퍼트 건물 정보 안내 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 특히 인공지능을 가진 아바타는 사용자와 상호작용을 하도록 설계되었으며, 가상공간은 현실세계에서는 제공해줄 수 없는 각종 정보를 다양하게 제공해줄 수 있다는 장점을 최대한 활용하였다. 이를 사용자 인터페이스로 구축하여 논리적 타당성과 유효성을 검증하기 위해 실험적인 적용을 시도하고자 한다. 향후에는 본 시스템을 캠퍼스 전체 건물로 확장하여 현실과 가상이 공존하는 증강현실의 기능을 가진 캠퍼스 건물 정보 안내 시스템을 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

Design of Interface Module for Driving of Image Processing Using FPGA (FPGA를 이용한 영상처리 구동을 위한 정합모듈 설계)

  • Interface modules design between image sensor and external components are designed by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) in this paper. Generally speaking, to satisfy synchronization for the poor quality data in image, SRAM is needed. To receive synchronization signal and image signal data with pixel dimension, the proposed interface logic technique is implemented. From the proposed technique, we can obtain more clear screen by implementing with pixel dimension. Operating frequency of image sensor and that of TFT-LCD are 50MHz and 6.5MHz, respectively. Most of control logic functions are embedded in FPGA. The designed logic gate counter has 33,216 and is designed by Quartus II.
