This study analyzes the perception of the old age life effects on the preparation for old age plan for veterans who are somewhat isolated from our society in spite of the increasing importance of the old age plan due to the rapid population aging society in Korea. The result of the study shows that meaningful differences in terms of characteristics of sociology of population are rank, level of education, religion, composition of family members in old age life plan in two parts(economic, leisure), whereas only property in physical part has a meaningful difference. That indicates the result was reflected by the character of military. The study on how veterans' perception of the old life affects the old age plan applied two contrasting factors - 'the successful perception of old age life' and 'the perception of expected matters in old age'. That represents those factors(economic, leisure) made positive effects on preparation for old age plan, but not in physical part. 'Expected perception of matters' made regulation effect, but 'success of old age perception' didn't in terms of regulation effect of learning activity as part of the veterans vocational training programs.

For this, From November 2015 to February 2016, I researched from 20 to 69, 1,500 currently working adults in the country, mailing surveys with the letter introducing this research's purpose and procedure and having them send them back, or researcher's spreading and collecting the surveys, eliminating 83 cases of negligent answers, finally analyzing 1,417 surveys. The result shows age, monthly income, and residing at their own places made more positive PRSL, RPA, financial retirement preparation level(FRPL), and expectancy about satisfactory retirement life. When they had less children, PRSL and RSL were higher. When they had more children, RPA was more proactive, and FRPL was higher. When they had positive PRSL, RPA was more proactive, and expectancy about retired life was higher. This research is significant in defining differences of retirement related factors and causal relationships among PRSL, RPA, and RSL.

In this study, based on survey data from Japan, I analyzed the differences between the expectations for social security and the perception of life in old age by age group. The analysis data used in this study are from the "Survey on Life Security, 2019" conducted by the Japan Life Insurance Cultural Center, which surveyed men and women aged 18 to 69. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, expectations about health insurance are higher than expectations about other forms of social security in all age groups. Second, when it comes to expectations for public pensions, both men and women have the highest average scores in their 60s. Third, the age group with the lowest average score for public health insurance, public pension, public care insurance, and survivors' pension was found to be those in their 40s. In addition, men in their 20s had a higher average score on their perception of life in old age. Fourth, the effect of social security expectations on perception of life in old age was found to be somewhat different for gender and age groups, but overall, it was found that public health insurance expectations were an important factor that had a positive impact on the perception of life in old age.
The purpose of this study is to look into how elderly people's health promoting behaviors influence their successful aging, to realize how their perception of successful aging and their life satisfaction have the mediating effect on the path from health promotion behaviors to successful aging, and to find the significant influence of successful aging perception and life satisfaction on successful aging. This researcher conducted a questionnaire survey with elderly people using a senior welfare center in Gyeonggio-do, and analyzed 250 copies that. For data analysis, SPSS Win 25 was applied to conduct frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and correlation analysis. Mediating effect analysis was made to verify the causal relations between health promoting behaviors and successful aging, and to validate the mediating effect of successful aging perception and life satisfaction on the causal relations. As a result, elderly people's health promoting behaviors influenced their perception of successful aging, their life satisfaction, and their successful aging. Their perception of successful aging had the mediating effect on health promotional behaviors and successful aging, but life satisfaction did not so. This study has the following implications: it is necessary to train persons specializing in support for health promoting, to develop an efficient health promotional model and program, and to provide an opportunity of education. It is necessary to come up with a support policy in consideration of tangible or intangible factors. It is necessary to establish a policy in line with economic levels and health conditions of elderly people.

This study aimed to explore the effects of married female immigrants' consciousness of later life and social and leisure activities on their preparation perception for their later life. We used data from 355 married female immigrants, residing in or nearby, Choongchungnam-do, Korea in 2013. Regressional analysis and SPSS 18.0 were conducted to prove the hypotheses. Consistent with previous studies, the findings of this study indicate that having more activities on leisure and social life and more planning on later life constitute critical factors for higher emotional, physical, and economical preparation perception for later life. Here we discussed strategies in planning social welfare policy for married female immigrants by providing basic information.
The purpose of this study is to understand the meaning and essence of aged life, which Korean elderly experience in real life and restructure them in the context of time and culture. In order to do so an in-depth interview was done with 15 elderlies over the age of 60 living in Hwaseong City, an urban-rural composite area in Gyeonggi Province where diverse elderlies could be found. In result, first, Korean elderly's understanding of aged life had physical, familial, economical, leisure, and social restoration aspects. Second, it was found that the degree of understanding about preparation for aging and preparedness is quite low. Third, as the gap between actual preparation for aging and aged life that elderly dreamed of became wider 'resentment on children', 'denial of reality', 'physical and economical change', and 'experience from prolongation of life-cycle' was found. Based on such results following suggestions could be made. First, the awareness of aged life and preparation for aging should be strengthened and there is a need for diverse educations aiming successful aged life. Second, elderly welfare policy and practical intervention with an integrated perspective based on the realm of life-cycle are demanded. Third, there is a need to strengthen the Aged Income Maintenance System for existing elder generation. Fourth, an intervention about adaptation and coping means of life event is needed. Lastly, there is a need to expand and carry out the aged life planning program for future elder generation.

The data was collected in 2010 using national random sampling. The target population was adults who are older than 65 and the sample size of this study was 4,080. The factors of successful aging were compared by the recognition of old age (group (1): people who recognize they are not older adults(n=620); group (2): people who recognize they are older adults(n=3,460)). For comparison of each variable by the recognition of old age, t-test, chi-square test and ANCOVA were used depending on the types of variables. To test the effect on the life satisfaction of the factors of successful aging, hierarchical regressions were used for each group. 1) Except for the number of leisure activities, older adults who recognized they were not old(group (1)) had a higher level of factors composing of successful aging than older adults who recognized they were old(group (2)). 2) For group (1), age did not affect their life satisfaction in a statistically significant level, but for group (2) age negatively affected their life satisfaction. 3) The results indicated that cognitive and physical functioning were more important than avoiding disease and disability. 4) For group (2), IADL affected life satisfaction positively in a statistically significant level, but for group (1), IADL did not affect life satisfaction. 5) For group(2), whether they had a job or not affected the life satisfaction differently.
