In societies emphasizing the importance of youthful appearance, attitudes toward aging are closely related to how individuals perceive their own bodies, which can be a major determinant of psychological well-being among older adults. The purpose of this study was to examine the associations between attitudes toward aging, positive body image, and life satisfaction among older Korean adults, based on relative deprivation theory and social identity theory. Employing an online survey questionnaire, data was collected from 408 Korean aged 65 and over. The proposed research model was examined via partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Results revealed that higher levels of psychosocial loss were associated with lower positive body image, while higher levels of physical change and psychological growth - a good example were associated with higher positive body image. Higher levels of positive body image were associated with higher life satisfaction. Overall, positive attitudes toward aging may increase positive body image and life satisfaction among older adults, controlling for subjective financial and health status. The results of this study emphasize that we should not overlook the importance of positive body image in psychological well-being among older adults.

In Korea, which has entered an aging society, 87% of the elderly population suffers from chronic diseases such as dementia and stroke, of which Alzheimer's dementia accounts for 71.3% of all dementia. In this paper, labeling verification was performed to review the error problem of deep learning results divided by Alzheimer's dementia MRI image into three stages.

멀티미디어의 가능성은 교육분야에도 광범위에도 적용되어 텍스트나 단수한 이미지만으로 학습하기 어려운 부분을 동영상과 사운드, 상호작용을 이용하여보다 쉽고 편리하며 재미있게 학습할 수 있게 되었다. 본 연구에서 구현된 학습모듈은 노령화사회에 대비한 노인간호를 위한 학습코스웨어를 제작하였다. 이러한 코스웨어는 멀티미디어의 장점을 최대한 살려 학습자에게 시각적이고 역동적인 화면과 사운드를 이용하여 학습효과를 극대화할 수 있을 것이다.

The study conducted research investigating their about knowledge and attitude of toward elderly aimed at 251 students in the Department of Dental Hygiene located in some areas of Gyeongbuk and Gyeongnam. The total average score concerning knowledge about the elderly was found to be 11.78 out of a full score of 25 points, and the level of physical and physiological knowledge was the highest. As regards the total average of the attitude toward the elderly, it posted at 98.58 points out of a full score of 150 points and the attitude regarding the aspect of welfare was the most positive. About toward elderly correlation of knowledge and attitude between higher knowledge score more positive was attitude about toward elderly. From the above results, it would be necessary to reinforce not only the physical and physiological aspect of the elderly but also the education in the family and social areas during the development of educational contents for the Department of Dental Hygiene in relation to the elderly. Furthermore, it is deemed imperative to improve the relationship between the younger generations and the elder generation by having students practice in institutions related to the elderly, such as institutions for senior nursing and senior welfare centers and to develop a generational community program that will provoke positive interactions between them.

In this paper, the fuzzy structure model for the consciousness structure of social workers related to the elder abuse factors was derived and analyzed. The characteristics of the model was obtained as follows. First, the elder abuse behavior at the top layer was related to the attitude of the elderly and the work overload of social workers. Second, the attitude of the elderly and the work overload of social workers at the middle layer were related to the personality of social worker, the physical and mental dependency of client, and the personality of client. Third, the personality of social worker, the knowledge of the elderly, the personality of client, and the physical and psychological dependence of the client affected directly the elder abuse behavior without going through the middle layer. Fourth, the work overload of social workers at the middle layer was affected the attitude of the elderly. Finally, the age of social workers, the working image, the job training, and provision of punishment to the social workers were the isolated layer, in which the relationship between the elder abuse behavior and related factors was not found.

This study analyzed effect of the group art therapy with recall on the quality of life and emotion of the elderly with mild dementia in day care center. The study objects were the elderly from 75 to 96 years old and MMSE-K grade were 15-23 points with mild dementia in Jeollabuk-do day care center. The experimental group was treated group art therapy for 6 months, once a week, 60 minutes, total 30 times and the control group was treated none at the same duration. The study results had implications that group art therapy using recall method helped the elderly with mild dementia in day care center by actively embracing their life and expressing more stable emotion to get along their life.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the image of color of 230university students. In this paper, the degree of preference of for Blue, White were higher than those of others. There was a difference among individuals for the hatred color. It was considered Yellow as spring. Blue as summer and White as winter about the seasonal color, but the range of color image was wide for the color of autumn. White, Grey and Black like achromatic colors have a proper image, black has a positive image in particular. In case of 12 chromatic colors, Red, Yellow, Blue and Yellow Green have a proper image. In particular, Red was shown the same image but Blue was shown the contradiction image as compared with the preceding studies. Green, one of the primary colors(Red, Green, Blue) of light sources, has not a characteristic image.

The purpose of this study was to investigate elderly women's body image and clothing behavior. Data were collected from 305 elderly women living in Gyeongnam province from May and June of 2011. Statistical methods including frequency analysis, factor analysis, F-test, t-test, Duncan test, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, correlation analysis and multiple regression were used for this study. The results of this study were as follows.: The body image was composed of two factors, 'physical attractiveness and interest in appearance', and 'concern about weight'. The clothing behavior was composed of the following five factors: 'social importance', 'conformity' 'individuality' 'economic efficiency' and 'clothing fashion interest'. The body image and clothing behavior according to the elderly women' demographic showed many differences. Elderly women's body image influenced their clothing behavior. These study results are highly expected to be used as valuable sources in fashion marketing plans for industries that target elderly women.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of the middle-aged Korean's experience discriminated level on the acts of discrimination against the elderly, and moderating effect of the awareness of social status of the aged. The subjects were 509 middle-aged(40-54 years old) from the Korean General Social Survey(KGSS)(2011). This study applied descriptive analyses, correlation analysis and multi-regression with STATA14. The results showed that the level of discrimination against the elderly was 2.20points(5 points), and awareness of elderly's social status was 2.45 points (4 points). Middle-aged Korean's experience discriminated was 0.74. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that discriminatory experiences affect positively on discrimination against the elderly. However, the awareness of elderly' social status had a negative interaction effect on the relationship between discriminatory experiences and discrimination against the elderly. Discrimination against the elderly was increased when the level of experience of discrimination was high and the social status of the aged was low. Based on the results, this study suggested practical and political opinions for reducing Discrimination against the elderly.

The purpose of this study was to find possible solutions to the aged-related problem that is emerging as one of serious social issues in Korea by investigating the images young people have toward the aged. The questionnaire-based survey for this study was conducted with 643 middle school students representing teens and 523 undergraduates representing young people in the twenties, who were 592 from Daegu and 574 from Gwangju. It was carried out from December 2000 to March 2001. The data were analyzed in frequency(N), percentage(%), mean(M) and standard deviation(SD) through the SPSSWIN 10.0 program, $x^2-test$ and reliability test. The findings are summarized as follows. 52.5% of respondents reported that they had the experience in living together with their grandparents, while the number of respondents currently living together with their parents just accounted for 17.6%. In the question about the sense of value for family life, it was shown that the traditional idea that an eldest son or other son has the duty of supporting parents was positively changed to one that any of sons or daughters may support parents. The entire image toward the aged appeared to be positive with the mean value of 3.62. Things associated with the aged were the respect-for-aged house and a stick in that order. The images young people perceive towards the aged were largely divided into the 13 items image including the community centers for the aged.
