This study conducted a survey to investigate the effect of the elderly-related experience on ageism in college students in Busan and Ulsan area. The total score of ageism was lower in the students with the experience in living with the elderly (p<.001), taking elderly-related classes (p<.01), and volunteering for the elderly. The effect of the experience in the elderly on the emotional avoidance was significant in the students with the experience in living with the elderly (p<0.001), volunteering for the elderly(p<0.01), and taking elderly-related classes (p<0.05). The effect on ageism was significant in the students with the experience in living with the elderly (p<0.001), volunteering for the elderly (p<0.01), and taking elderly-related classes (p<0.05). Therefore, taking elderly-related classes and volunteering for elderly to build social, physical, and emotional empathy will have a positive effect on the attitudes and the point of view on the elderly.

The purpose of this study is to recommend on the public library service for older adults through the analysis of the perceptions of older adults and librarians. To achieve the study purpose, interview method was employed. The interview questions are composed based on the ALA guidelines. According to the study results, the following ten factors were recommended by older adults: 1) various customized life long learning programs for older adults, 2) highly qualified staff for the public library life long learning programs and regular evaluation for the staff, 3) provision of various and new information resources, 4) promotion of public library services and programs, 5) public library staff's kindness and professionalism, 6) regular reeducation of the public library staff, 7) library user education, 8) customized resources, facilities, and equipments for older adults, 9) provision of the library space, and 10) customized library services for older adults. In addition, the following four factors were mentioned by librarians: 1) customized services and programs for older adults, 2) customized collection, facilities, and equipments, 3) adequate budget for public library service for older adults, 4) professionals for the public library service for older adults. The followings were recommended by both the older adults and librarians: 1) Customized library services, programs, collection, equipments, facilities for older adults, 2) Professionals for the public library service for older adults and Regular reeducation for them.

This study aims to identify the inequalities and characteristics of health care expenditure of the elderly and non-elderly households by income level. As a result, health care expenditure of elderly households was statistically significantly higher than that of non-elderly households. As a result of calculating the concentration index of health care expenditure by income level, inequality was higher in order of non-elderly households, elderly households, and total households. In order to confirm the effect of health expenditure on household income inequality, we calculated the concentration index of income excluding total health care expenditure from total income. As a result, inequality was higher in order of elderly households, whole households, and non-elderly households. There was not much difference in inequality of health care expenditure among elderly households and non-elderly households. And, the health care expenditure of elderly households was much higher than that of non-elderly households. Also, inequality of health care expenditure by income group was serious. There should be no cases where the medical care support policy for elderly households can not use necessary medical services.

조정은 작은 속도차이가 경기에 큰 영향을 미치는 스포츠이다. 이에 따라 노 주변 유통에 대한 다양한 연구가 진행되어왔지만 정작 노 블레이드를 어떠한 형상으로 설계해야 어떤 영향에 의해 노의 성능이 향상되는지에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 4-digit NACA 익형 캠버 식을 이용하여 최대 캠버와 최대 캠버 위치를 변화시켜가며 노의 추진력과 효율을 모두 높이는 노 블레이드 형상을 찾아보았다. 연구 결과 최대 캠버의 크기가 크고 최대 캠버의 위치가 블레이드 압전에 가까이 위치할수록 노의 추진력과 효율이 향상되는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 실험 범위에서는 최대 캠버와 최대 캠버의 위치가 각각 시위길이의 4%, 20%인 노 블레이드의 경우 블레이드가 평판인 경우보다 배의 평균속도를 0.18m/s 향상시켰으며, 이는 실제 경기에서 57.2m의 거리 차와 약 13초의 기록차이를 가져온다.

기존의 음성인식은 청장년 층에 초점이 맞추어져 있었으나, 최근 고령화가 가속되면서 노인 음성에 대한 연구 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 노인 음성 데이터셋은 청장년 음성 데이터셋에 비해서는 아직까지 충분히 확보되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부족한 노인 음성 데이터셋 확보에 기여하고자 희소한 노인 데이터셋을 증강할 수 있는 방법론에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위해 노인 음성 특징(feature)을 분석하였으며, '주파수'와 '발화 속도' 특징을 일반 성인 음성에 합성하여 데이터를 증강하였다. 이후 Whisper small 모델을 파인 튜닝한 뒤 노인 음성에 대한 CER(Character Error Rate)를 구하였고, 기존 노인 데이터셋에 증강한 데이터셋을 함께 사용하는 것이 가장 효과적임을 밝혀내었다.

본 연구는 요인분석을 통해 노인 보행자 사고 유형을 대표할 수 있는 성분 값을 계산하고 군집분석을 실시하여 노인 보행자 사고 취약 지역을 선정하는 모델을 확인하였다. 기존 노인보행자 사고에 관한 연구는 보행 환경 분석 및 노인보행자 사고 특성을 확인한 뒤, 제도적, 물리적 환경 개선 등에 대한 정책 제언의 형식으로 진행되었다. 이러한 연구는 실질적으로 노인 보행자 특성을 분석하여 사고를 감소시키는 연구가 아닌, 일반적으로 알려진 사실이나 해외 사례를 들어 노인 보행자 사고의 현 실태에 대해 어느 정도 환기만 시켜주는 역할로 그쳤다. 이러한 점에서 군집분석을 통한 노인 보행자 사고 취약지역 선정은 노인 보행자 사고 특성의 비교를 명확하게 할 수 있도록 새로운 기준을 제시하였다. 이에 기존의 방법론에서 벗어나 실질적으로 노인 보행자 사고 방지 대책이 시급한 지역을 선정하였고, 노인 보행자 사고에 관해 활발히 연구 시킬 것이라 예상한다. 군집분석을 사용하는 핵심은 사망자 수와 사망률이 상대적으로 동시에 높은 군집을 선정할 수 있고 지역 특성 비교를 통해 향후 노인 보행자 사고에 관한 추가 연구가 가능할 것으로 기대한다.

In this study, labor force projections are made in order to examine the process and magnitude of labor shortage caused by population ageing in Korea. Starting from theoretical review and analysis of population projection data, this study presents that serious transitions of labor market are expected to begin between 2020 and 2030. This study shows even in case of encouraging higher labor participation, labor shortage cannot be offset but only delay and alleviate effects of population ageing. Finally, this study points out some important implications of labor policy including sensitive social and political issues which should be considered.

A taxonomic study on the freshwater harpacticoids of the genus Attheyella has been accomplished as one of the serial researches on the family Canthocamptidae in South Korea. As a result, a total of seven species belonging to Attheyella are listed, three of which are new to Korean fauna: A. crassa (Sars), A. nakaii (Brehm), and A. orientalis Chappuis. A key to the species of the genus Attheyella known from Korea is prepared.

Genera Mesochra and Elaphoidella have been studied as one of the serial studies on the taxonomy of the family Canthocamptidae in South Korea. As a result of it, two species of Mesochra and three species of Elapholidella are added to Korean fauna: M. alaskana Wilson, M. suifunensis Borutskii, E. grandidieri (Guerne and Richard), E. bidens (Schmeil) and E. superpedalis Shen and Tai. A key to the species of the genera Mesochra and Elaphoidella known from Korea is prepared.
