몰리브덴을 첨가하여 PTAW법으로 육성된 Stellite 6합금의 미세조직 특성평가 (Characteristics of Microstructure of Hardfacing Layer of Stellite 6 with Mo Addition)

  • Hardfacing layers of Stellite 6 alloy with different molybdenum content are deposited on AISI 1045 carbon steel using plasma transferred arc welding (PTAW). The properties of the hardfacing layer are investigated in order to clarify the effect of molybdenum addition to the cobalt-base alloy. With an increase in molybdenum contents, the size of Cr-rich carbides in the interdendritic region is abruptly refined, but volume fraction of the carbide slightly increases. Also, with an increase of Mo, $M_{6}$ C type carbides are formed instead of Cr-rich $M_{7}$ $C_{3}$ type carbided, and this microstructural change enhanced the mechanical properties of Stellite 6 alloy.

  • Recently, with the expansion of electronic equipment and computer facilities, good quality of services is required. This paper describes how to improve distribution system voltage by the Tap position seletion of P. Tr, by the decision of the optimal sending voltage in substation and we also developed three phase load flow program in distribution system. Besides we have developed the digital recording voltmeter that will be utilized with personal computer system. This meter will be useful, economical and powerful.

  • This paper deals with the analytical approach for the reliability assessment in radially operated distribution systems. The existing indexes can consider the number and configuration of the load, but can not consider the characteristics of the load which is the one of the most important factor in the investment cost for the distribution systems. Therefore, This paper presents the new indexes considering the expected interruption cost for the load section and protection systems in the cafe where the Dispersed Storage and Generation Systems are introduced to distribution systems. And this paper shows the effectiveness of the proposed methods by simulating at the model systems.

  • This paper deals with single-phase unified power quality conditioner(UPQC), which aims at the integration of series-active and shunt-active filter. The series filter is used to compensate for the voltage distortions and the shunt filter is used to provide reactive power and counteract the harmonic current injected by the load. Also, the voltage of the DC link capacitor is controlled to a desired value by the shunt active filter. The performance of UPQC under load nonlinearities conditions is investigated using simulation as well as experimental results.

  • The reliability and probabilistic generation production cost evaluation of composite power systems are important for power system operation and expansion planning. This paper present a computer program which can evaluate the reliability and probabilistic generation production cost of composite power system using GUI(Graphic User Interface). In this computer program, Monte Carlo simulation methods and CMELDC(CoMposite power system Effective Load Duration Curve) were used.

  • This paper presents the results of power flow of North-South Korea system with interconnected cases which were proposed by various present studies. PSS/E and PowerWorld Simulator were used to analyze the inter connected system with several interconnected lines alternatives. The results would be very useful to select the best alternative for interconnection with considering several evaluation terms.

  • This paper deals with the analytical approach for the reliability assessment in radially operated distribution systems. The approach can estimate the expected reliability performance of distribution systems by a direct assessment of the configuration of the systems using the reliability indexes such as NDP(Non-Delivery Power) and NDE(Non-Delivery Energy). The indexes can consider the number and configuration of the load, but can not consider the characteristics of the load which is the one of the most important factor in the investment cost for the distribution systems. Therefore, This paper presents the new indexes considering the expected interruption cost for the load section and shows the effectiveness by simulating at the model systems.

  • This paper illustrates a method for evaluating nodal probabilistic production cost using the CMELDC. A new method for constructing CMELDC(the equivalent load duration curves of composite power system) was developed by authors. The CMELDC can be obtained by convolution integral processing between the probability distribution functions of the fictitious generators outage capacity and the load duration curves at each load point. Monte Carlo Methods are applied for the construction of CMELDC on this study. And IEEE-RTS 24 buses model is used as our case study with satisfactory results.

  • This paper deals with the mathematical modeling of battery energy storage systems interconnected with the distribution system. This battery model takes account of self-discharge, battery storage capacity, internal resistance and overvoltage. The model components are decided by using an approximation technique and experimental results. This model can be used to evaluate battery performance of battery energy storage systems interconnected with distribution system.
