Analysis of Research Subject Network in the Field of Oncogene (암유전자 연구주제 네트워크 분석)

  • Purpose: Health technology research & development is an important area to leading future. This study examined the current trends for 'oncogene' based on the research subject network to deduce a research front. Method: Papers were extracted from PubMed database using MeSH term for studies on 'oncogenes' and further categorized as papers published by Korean. Keywords were collected from all of articles. Research subject network was generated by keywords. Research subject network was analyzed by weighted degree centrality based social network analysis and transition of research subjects was analyzed by the time series. Results: On 'oncogenes', 'Genes, ras', 'Apoptosis', 'Signal Transduction' had a high degree centrality and currently 'Antineoplastic Agents', 'Prognosis', and 'Tumor Markers, Biological' were widely conducted. Conclusion: Consistency of research trend pattern was found by analyzing oncogene network with compromised to international vs. domestic trends. Analyzing keyword networks in various subject area, those will allow us to predict the research progress and propose evidence of research & developmental strategy.

Keyword Network Analysis on Global Research Trend in Design (1999~2018) (글로벌 디자인 연구동향에 대한 키워드 네트워크 분석 연구 (1999~2018))

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of researches that have been conducted for the last 20 years through analyzing global research trends and evolutions of design articles from 1999 to 2018 with keyword network analysis. For this purpose, we selected 3,569 articles in 22 journals related to design research retrieved from the Scopus database and constructed keyword network model through the author keyword and index keyword. The frequency of the author and index keyword, the centrality of betweenness and degree were analyzed with the keyword network. The results show that design has been applied to various fields for recent 20 years, and the research trends of design could be quantitatively characterized by keyword network analysis. The result of this study could be used to suggest future research topics in the field of design based on quantitative and empirical data.

Research Trends of Studies Related to the Geological Fieldwork Using Semantic Network Analysis: Focused on the Last 21 Years(2000-2020) (언어 네트워크를 이용한 야외지질답사 관련 연구 동향 분석: 최근 21년(2000~2020년)을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the previous research on geological fieldwork from 2000 to 2020, examine the tasks that have been focused on, and suggest directions and implications for future geological fieldwork research. The data was conducted for the thesis searched on ScienceON and RISS in relation to geological fieldwork and journals listed in the Korean Citation Index(KCI), and the study title was analyzed using the semantic network analysis. For analysis, the data that had been pre-processed was visualized as a network by semantic network analysis, and frequency and centrality were analyzed. The centrality analysis was based on degree centrality and eigenvector centrality, and all analyzes were performed by dividing the entire study period into four periods: 2000-2005, 2006-2010, 2011-2015, and 2016-2020. As a result, research on geological fieldwork focused more on the development of geological field courses, and in particular, jeju island was actively discussed as a learning site. Also, the study was conducted on students rather than teachers, and among them, high school students showed high frequency and centrality. In addition, it can be seen that studies on the educational effect of geological fieldwork were discussed, either in connection with programs such as STEAM, free-semester program, or indirect geological fieldwork methods such as web, flash panorama, and 3D. This study is meaningful in that it suggests the direction of future research by looking back on the research on geological fieldwork that has been done so far.

A Social Network Analysis of Tourism Destinations in Package Tourism Products (패키지 관광 상품에 포함된 관광목적지들 간의 사회 네트워크 분석)

  • This paper aims to analyze destination composition patterns included in package products and to identify the characteristics of the tourism destinations through social network analysis using data collected from tour packages distributed by major Korean travel agencies, targeting Singapore as a key destination. Such tour package data were transcribed into data matrix using Pajek, UCINET, and Cytoscape for analysis. The density and centralization scores derived from the analysis indicated clearly that each destination was almost connected to each other. The centrality scores indicated that the destinations with higher degree of centrality also has higher betweenness centrality within the network. Based on centrality scores, POI(point of interests) of tourism destinations showed concentration in southern area of the target region. Finally, through component analysis, subgroups of tourism destination networks are isolated. Practical implications were also presented for industry practitioners.

Analyzing Trends in Research Data Using Keyword Network Analysis: Focusig on SCOPUS DB (키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용한 연구데이터 분야 동향 분석 - SCOPUS DB를 중심으로 -)

  • This study aimed to analyze the research trends of research data academic papers from 2010 to 2024 to understand the research status of research data over the past 15 years. To achieve this goal, keyword frequency analysis and network centrality analysis were conducted on 14,921 academic articles published in Scopus DB. The keyword network analysis using UCINET, which was divided into the first period (2010-2014), second period (2015-2019), and third period (2020-2024) according to the period of publication of academic journals, revealed the main keywords studied regardless of the period, the keywords that attracted attention by period, and the keywords that decreased in attention over time. It was found that the most active topic of research data-related research in the last 15 years is data sharing, and most of the keywords with high Degree Centrality also have high Betweenness Centrality. The results of this study can be utilized as a basis for suggesting future research directions in the field of research data in Korea.

  • 지식 네트워크 (knowledge network) 구축은 지식의 재사용을 통하여 조식의 효율성을 개선시키고 지식 레버리지를 통하여 혁신을 촉진한다는 점에서 지식관리의 핵심적 요소이다. 본 연구는 (1) 개인이 집단 내 외에서 맺고 있는 지식 네트워크가 팀의 객관적, 주관적 성과에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고, (2) IT 활용이 지식 네트워크의 효과성을 어떻게 조절하는 가에 대해서 실증 함으로써, (3) 지식 네트워크 구축, IT 활용, 그리고 팀 성과 간의 관계에 대하여 학문적, 실무적 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 먼저 사회 네트워크 이론을 바탕으로 지식 네트워크의 집단 내부 결속과 외부 매개성을 통합하는 이론적 프레임워크를 개발하고 국내 5개 컨설팅 업체의 172명의 컨설턴트와 42개 프로젝트 팀을 대상으로 사회 네트워크 분석 (Social Network Analysis)을 실시하였다. 분석 결과는 지식 네트워크의 내부 결속(네트워크의 밀도)과 팀 성과의 선형적인 관계를 지지하였으며, 외부 매개성은 직접적으로 팀 성과에 영향을 미치지 않았으나 팀 수준의 IT 활용 (공동체적인 컴퓨터 매체의 활용)과 상호작용을 통해서 팀의 성과를 실질적으로 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다.

Analyzing the LCC Network at Asian Major Airports (아시아 주요공항의 저비용항공사 네트워크 분석)

  • This study analyzed the network of low cost carriers (LCCs) to investigate the structural characteristics of airport networks. 71 LCCs in Asian major airports from January 2010 to January 2016 were queried from the SRS Analyzer Schedule Database of IATA's Airport Intelligence Service, and analyzed international routes excluding domestic flights. We analyzed the network connection mechanism focusing on Incheon International Airport, Hong Kong, Singapore, Narita, Kansai, Pudong, Kaohsiung, Gimpo and Jeju airports as well as structural changes in the LCC network using four centrality analysis concepts. The outcomes showed that the LCC network is formed in these airports and the density of connectivity to other airports increased. In recent years, LCC has launched LCCs-Alliances and would be considered to operate a hub-and-spoke network.

  • The elder problem is very serious stage in the age of present. This paper carries out scientometric analysis based on keyword that effort of global researcher for this research field as viewpoint of ICT and healthcare in order to settle physical exercise and rehabilitation of elder. First, this paper performs analysis of linkage relation of keyword. Second this paper carries out the analysis of degree distribution and centrality analysis of network based on betweenness centrality, closeness centrality and harmony centrality. Through this process, this paper reviews research trend of present and future through core keyword in the field of ICT and healthcare.

The comparison of coauthor networks of two statistical journals of the Korean Statistical Society using social network analysis (소셜 네트워크분석을 활용한 통계학회 논문집과 응용통계연구 공저자 네트워크 비교)

  • The purpose of this study is to compare not only network influence of individual coauthor but also the types and properties of two coauthor networks of Communications for Statistical Applications and Methods and the Korean Journal of Applied Statistics which are published by the Korean Statistical Society using social network analysis.As the result of two network structure comparison, density, inclusiveness, reciprocity and clustering coefficient which represent the type of coauthor networks show almost similar values and the Korean Journal of Applied Statistics has bigger values in average degree, average distance and diameter because it has more nodes than Communications for Statistical Applications and Methods. Finally two journals have very similar type of coauthor network. In the comparison of network centrality of two coauthor networks, closeness centrality and betweenness centrality of the Korean Journal of Applied Statistics are bigger than those of Communications for Statistical Applications and Methods at the statistical significance level 0.05. The coauthor network of the Korean Journal of Applied Statistics has faster information delivery and stronger betweenness than that of Communications for Statistical Applications.
