  • 본 논문에서는 연결지향적인 ATM 네트워크에서 비연결지향적인 데이터 전송을 효율적으로 하기 위한 방법으로 Frame-Weighted(FW) 스케줄링 기법을 제시한다. 본 방법은 기존의 GPS 계열이 갖는 셀 단위에서의 스케줄링으로 인한 낮은 효율 및 높은 셀 손실을 프레임 단위에서의 스케줄링으로 극복한다. 이를 이용하면 네트워크 내의 버퍼 점유율을 낮춤으로써 프로엠 지연을 단축하고 셀 손실을 최소화할 수 있어 데이터 전송에 효과적으로 쓰일 수 있다.

  • In this study, the impact of traffic flow on the market penetration rate of autonomous vehicles(AV) was analyzed using the data for the year 2020 of the Yongin IC~Yangji IC section of Yeongdong Expressway. For this analysis, a microscopic traffic simulation model VISSIM was utilized. To construct the longitudinal control of the AV, the Intelligent Driver Model(IDM) was built and applied, and the driving behavior was verified by comparison with a normal vehicle. An examination of the study results of mobility and safety according to the market penetration rate of the AV, showed that the network's mobility improves as the market penetration rate increases. However, from the point of view of safety, the network becomes unstable when normal vehicles and AVs are mixed, so there should be a focus on traffic management for ensuring safety in mixed traffic situations.

  • 최근 스마트폰의 보급이 증가하면서 그 사용자 역시 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 이 중 안드로이드 기반의 스마트폰의 경우 Borderless Application, No limit, 다양한 플랫폼에서의 개발 및 오픈소스 등의 장점으로 인해 시장 점유율이 급속도로 증가한 반면, 그에 따른 보안이 시스템 개발속도를 따라가지 못하면서 각종 보안 취약점 및 해킹 공격 등에 위협을 받고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 안드로이드의 기본 구조 및 보안, 그리고 여러 가지 보안 위협 사례들을 분석하여 공격 유형을 파악한다. 또한 이를 통해 현재 보안 수준 및 문제점에 대한 향후 보안 대책과 권고사항에 대하여 고찰한다.

  • Network anomaly detection is a technology that collects information about flows on a network and detects malicious attacks occurring in a network in real time. In-band Network Telemetry (INT) technology provides more detailed information in real time, that is not provided by existing networks, such as hop latency and queue occupancy. In this paper, we propose the method to implement an anomaly detection system with higher performance by using INT as an input feature of machine learning and verify it through experiments.

  • Wireless multimedia sensor network senses and transfers mass multimedia data. Also, it is sensitive to latency. This thesis proposes a routing technique based on traffic priority in order to improve the network efficiency by minimizing latency. In addition, it proposes a congestion control mechanism that uses packet service time, packet inter-arrival time, buffer usage, etc. In this thesis, we verified the reduction of packet latency in accordance with the quality level of packet as a result of the performance analysis through the simulation method. Also, we verified that the proposed mechanism maintained a reliable network state by preventing packet loss due to network overload.

  • Rapid time variations of the mobile communication channel have a dramatic effect on the performance of multi-carrier modulation. This paper analyzed the bit error rate (BER) performance for multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) network, and derived the equivalent signal-to-total noise plus interference(SNIR) of MC-CDMA system in the reverse link, the performance of MC-CDMA/BPSK signal is evaluated taking into account the fraction of partial-band interference and interference power. and the effect of partial-band interference is comprehensively studied in order to further improve the Qos of multi-carrier multimedia system.

Market Power of Internet Portals with Direct and Indirect Network Externality (직·간접 네트워크 외부성하에서 인터넷포털 기업의 시장력 분석)

  • In the internet portal industry, the indirect network externality from portal visitors to advertisers and the direct network externality among portal visitors have important implications for anti-trust policies. This paper examines the existence and the magnitude of the direct/indirect network externality in the Korean internet portal industry and measures its effect on the market power of the internet portals. The results show that the direct/indirect network externality is substantive in the industry hence the market share of a portal in the visitors' side has the 'leverage' effect on its market power in the advertisers' side.
