New paradigm of the 21st is 'Ubiquitous'. And great changes arises from the digital environment and technology. Also, our living environments are changing very rapidly. Because of rapid developments, we didn't have enough time to examine our current situation. So we had to look around the current living spaces. The main purpose of this research was to know about the home network service and environmental context in our living spaces and to explore the outlook in the forseeable future. To search them, four recent digital home exhibition houses were examined. The findings showed that many kinds of common network systems were suggested and were acted in limited spaces. And when we examined the environmental context, we found most of the instruments were installed fixed ones or integrated information appliances. Therefore, the plan of digital home needs to consider environmental context and the combination of residents and living spaces.

스위칭 주파수의 대역 확산 기법(Spread Spectrum Technique; SST)은 전력 변환 장치에서 스위칭 시 발생하는 전자 방해 잡음(Electromagnetic Interference; EMI)을 추가 소자 없이 저감할 수 있는 기술이다. 하지만 공진형 컨버터의 경우 공진 네트워크의 전압 이득이 스위칭 주파수에 의해 결정되므로 SST를 적용하게 되면 출력 전압 리플이 크게 증가하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 전류원 LLC 공진형 컨버터에 SST를 적용하여 EMI를 줄이는 동시에 출력 전압 리플을 현저히 줄일 수 있는 공진 네트워크 디자인 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 제안하는 전류원 LLC 공진형 컨버터는 200 W의 시작품을 통해 성능을 검증하고자 한다.

LCD를 이용해 화면상에 다양한 이미지를 제공하는 디지털액자는 디지털 카메라 사용의 대중화에 따라 지속적인 매출 증가를 보이고 있다. 디지털액자는 디지털 사진을 볼 수 있는 액정표시장치(LCD)로 된 제품으로써 현재는 디스플레이 시장 및 디지털 액자시장 성장, 디지털 기술 발전과 함께 다양한 포맷의 동영상을 지원하고, 음악을 재생하는가 하면 네트워크 기술까지 탑재한 다기능 디바이스(device)로 탈바꿈되고 있어 사용자를 위한 디지털 액자의 사용목적 및 기능에 따른 디지털 액자 형태의 세분화와 디자인 콘셉트는 더욱 다양화 될 것이다. 본 연구는 기존의 디지털 액자와 차별화 된 스마트픽쳐(Smart Picture)라는 제품 개발 콘셉트(Concept) 연구를 목적으로 한다. 스마트픽쳐(Smart Picture)라 함은 기존 디지털액자에서의 사진 및 동영상 보여주기 기능이외에도 전용화된 아트웍 (Artwork)형태의 전용화된 콘텐츠와 차별화된 형태와 재질을 가진 디지털액자를 뜻한다. 본 연구는 스마트픽쳐(Smart Picture) 개발을 위한 선행연구의 일환으로 제품 개발을 위한 콘셉트 디자인(Concept Design)연구를 목적으로 현재 시판되는 다양한 디지털액자와 관련된 사례분석과 디스플레이(Display)가 활용되는 분야 및 사용 콘텐츠(Contents) 사례 연구 조사, 디스플레이 활용분야, 미디어 작품 사례 조사를 통해 자료를 수집 및 아이디어 방향을 설정하고, 설정된 방향을 바탕으로 스마트픽쳐(Smart Picture)에 반영될 수 있는 아이디어 요소 도출 및 구체화 후에 스마트픽쳐(Smart Picture) 콘셉트 디자인 개념 제안까지를 연구 방향으로 한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경은 오늘날 인간생활 행태의 변화뿐만 아니라 미래건축 공간에도 큰 변화를 가져오고 있다. 그 중에서도 인간의 가장 기본적인 생활환경인 주거 공간의 변화는 빠르게 이루어지고 있다. 지능형 홈, 사이버 아파트 등의 새로운 미래주거 공간이 나타나고 홈네트워크 시스템을 이용한 다양한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 적용되고 있다. 그러나 거주자를 위한 유비쿼터스 서비스가 공간에 적절히 적용되지 않는 사례가 발생하고 있고 수요자 요구와 관련 없이 서비스가 설계되어 있어 효율성이 떨어지는 문제점도 나타나고 있다. 이는 현재의 홈네트워크가 IT 업계가 제공한 솔루션과 기기 중심으로 서비스가 개발되고, 공급자 위주의 기능의 편리성을 위주로 제공되고 있기 때문이며, 주택을 잘 알고 있는 건설인과의 협업이나 최종 사용자의 기호가 고려되고 있지 않기 때문이다. 더욱 중요한 것은 초기 디자인 단계에서 이러한 문제점들이 수용되고 있지 못하고 공간 디자인과 서비스 개발이 유리화되어 선 시공 후, 서비스를 끼워 맞추기식으로 계획하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구는 서비스 개발의 관점에서 접근하여 공동 주택의 초기 디자인 단계에서 수요자가 원하는 서비스를 공간에 적용하여 부합되는지를 살펴보고, 이에 따라 적절한 미래공간을 디자인 할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 공간정보 데이터베이스를 기반으로 한 공동주택 유비쿼터스 서비스 개발을 위한 기초 연구에 그 목적을 둔다.

We are now in the era of digital convergence with CE products and PC at the center, but product diversification occurs in the same breath. Each device may perform its own functions itself independently, but proportion of the inter-device usage is increasing gradually by concept of a home network and ubiquitous widely prevailed. The consumer's need of inter-device connection will take the dominative position of the market. Therefore, we can easily forecast that diversification of the products may inevitably lead connectivity patterns complicated considering recent market situation and trends. In this paper, we propose the methodology for designing inter-device connectivity which covers issues such like segmenting numerous number of connectivity pattern, and establishing their structure of control. Our methodology also supports the inter-device connection with extensive latitudes and a multi-device simultaneous control. In order to present inter-device connectivity guideline, we define four stages of a user experience - Connection, Configuration, Use, Disconnection. Based on the 4 user experience stages, we suggest a specific connectivity designing guideline for each step.

Geomulticast is a specialized location-dependent multicasting technique, where messages are multicast to some specific user groups within a specifc zone. In this paper, we propose architectures and protocols for supporting geomulticast services in a cost effective way and with high message delivery accuracy in the challenging environment of mobile ad-hoc networks. Furthermore, we define and formulate a framework in order to evaluate the performance of the design alternatives used for the support of geomulticast services in mobile ad-hoc networks. Based on this framework, we evaluate the performance of the proposed architectures and protocols and we obtain some insight about the impact of the various design and operational parameters on the overall system performance.

These days, we face of the flood of books published, and data day by day. But there are some trouble to serve the knowlodge and date to the users efficently with a single library. Thats why we think about the way of the cooporation and the connection in modern library for the method of widening the service. As the result of the issue, the establishment for the relation of each library is needed to be done, and the composition of the public library network in same area and limit are also needed. Establishing the library network, the civil life will be much influenced by the service of a library. With the existing ways, library cant arrange data efficently by them selves, and the users are limited. But the library network collect the data with alloting the work to each portion, so it can be possible to gather the specipic data, and the cost caused by needless and overlapped data can be decreased remarkably. Furthermore, the location of the library can be closer than the existing one due to the less cost to maintain the library. As I explained, the convenience of using the library can make an effect on more people to use a library than before.

As vehicles become intelligent for convenience and safety of drivers, in-vehicle networking (IVN) systems are essential components of intelligent vehicles. Recently, the chassis networking system which require increased network capacity and real-time capability is being developed to expand the application area of IVN systems. Also, FlexRay has been developed for the chassis networking system. However, FlexRay needs a complex scheduling method of static segment, which is a barrier for implementing the chassis networking system. Especially, if we want to migrate from CAN network to FlexRay network using CAN message database that was well constructed for the chassis networking system by automotive vendors, a novel scheduling method is necessary to be able to reduce design complexity. This paper presents a node-based scheduling method for FlexRay network system. And, in order to demonstrate the method's feasibility, its performance is evaluated through an experimental testbed.

Continuous oil price rising and the regulation of carbon emmission makes companies to have higher competitiveness. because of this trend, companies are trying to establish and manage efficient logistics system to improve customer service and reduce cost, so more competitive logistics complex is needed. To construct this kind of logistics complex, proper policy and logistics system for transportation is necessary. Especially, efficient operation through establishing system of logistics at the complex is very important for low cost and environmental friendly point of view. So this paper presents logistics network operation model for efficient transportation, especially approaches the problem with Multi-Phase.

우리 삶을 풍요롭게 하는 몇 가지 서비스들이 있다. 우리는 넘쳐나는 소셜 네트워크 서비스들을 통해 사람들과 다양한 관계를 맺고 유지하고 있다. 기존의 소셜 네트워크 서비스들은 유저간의 관계를 주로 사용하여 상호간의 메시지 전달을 돕는다. 오늘날 스마트기기의 발달 및 지리정보 시스템의 발달에 따라, 소셜 네트워크 서비스에서 사용자 위치 정보를 이용한 메시지 전달을 고려할 수 있다. 예를 들어 유저가 특정지역에 위치하고 있고 그 특정지역에 이벤트가 발생 했을 때 메시지를 전달 받는 다거나, 이벤트가 발생한 그 특정지역에 위치하지 않은 사용자라도 그 지역에 관심이 있거나 또는 관심 있는 다른 사용자가 해당 지역에 존재한다면 메시지를 전달 받는 경우를 생각할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 이러한 위치정보 및 소셜 정보를 고려한 소셜 메시징 시스템을 소개하고, 이에 필요한 인터페이스 디자인 및 초기 구현 결과를 소개한다.
