The Study of Network Design Style Guide for TV Channel (TV 채널 Network Design Style Guide 연구)

  • Recently many TV have much interest in Network Design to get an advantage in the competition of the multi channels as part of the channel brand strategy. Since the Network Design was introduced in Korea in 1997, the major cable channels and satellite channels began to display Network Design on their screen competitively. But the production of Network Design has many problems in the field due to the lack of research information. The style guide is considered very important to succeed in Network Design execution as an indispensible process for a consistent planning and concrete production. This paper studied the Network Design Style Guide to establish a theoretical system of Network Design for a TV channel image promotion. First, this paper discussed the concept of Network Design and the necessity of the Network Design Style Guide, Second, this paper systemized the main component through the case study of the Network Design Style Guide and defined the concept of each element.

  • 기존 네트워크상에서의 라우터나 스위치와 같은 중간 노드들에서 단순히 패킷의 헤더만을 처리하는 수동적인 기능을 개선하여, 사용자가 패킷 내에 프로그램 코드와 데이터를 함께 전송하고 중간노드에서는 필요한 프로세스를 처리할 수 있는 차세대 네트워크를 액티브 네트워크라 한다. 지금까지의 액티브 네트워크 기술 현황을 볼 때 네트워크 관리는 표준화된 관리 구조를 가지고 있지 않으며, 대부분의 연구들이 액티브 노드에 중점을 두고 있으며, 네트워크 내의 트래픽 제어나 성능 향상을 위한 네트워크 관리 구조에 대한 연구는 아직 미흡한 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 수동적 네트워크와의 연동 및 서로 다른 액티브 네트워크와의 상호 운영을 고려한 액티브 네트워크 관리 시스템의 Infrastructure를 디자인하였다. 본 논문에서 디자인한 액티브 네트워크 관리 시스템의 모델을 기초로 하여 보다 효율적이고, 유지 보수 및 다른 네트워크와의 통합 관리가 용이한 시스템 구성을 구현할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Keyword Network Analysis on Global Research Trend in Design (1999~2018) (글로벌 디자인 연구동향에 대한 키워드 네트워크 분석 연구 (1999~2018))

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of researches that have been conducted for the last 20 years through analyzing global research trends and evolutions of design articles from 1999 to 2018 with keyword network analysis. For this purpose, we selected 3,569 articles in 22 journals related to design research retrieved from the Scopus database and constructed keyword network model through the author keyword and index keyword. The frequency of the author and index keyword, the centrality of betweenness and degree were analyzed with the keyword network. The results show that design has been applied to various fields for recent 20 years, and the research trends of design could be quantitatively characterized by keyword network analysis. The result of this study could be used to suggest future research topics in the field of design based on quantitative and empirical data.

  • Beyond the simple stage of technical development, the growth of information networks have changed areas such as the economy, communities, and education. Existing knowledge and new knowledge about these things have developed and either coexist or conflict with each other. It is difficult to predict the result of this interaction since old and new information is changing so quickly. The transition from a simple communication to an interactive communication is related to a changed communication environment which involves a more complex level of understanding. Establishing the new design concept which is aimed at the future and developing new educational programs which respond to these new information networks are important in order to educate designers who can adjust to the new information network era and construct design education. This paper reports research about the process of developing new education systems that explore the new design paradigms, the changing information network, and the proper approaches to developing design education programs which fulfill these requirements.

  • The recommendation service is changing from client-server based internet service to social networking. Especially in recent years, it is serving recommendations with personalization to users through crowdsourcing and social networking. The social networking based systems can be classified depending on methods of providing recommendation services and purposes by using memory and model based collaborative filtering. In this study, we proposed the social network based sensibility design recommendation using associative user. The proposed method makes {user - associative design} matrix through the social network and recommends sensibility design using the memory based collaborative filtering. For the performance evaluation of the proposed method, recall and precision verification are conducted. F-measure based on recommendation of social networking is used for the verification of accuracy.

  • As there are few documents about how to design and implement a sensor network with Z-Stack, developers can get information from developer's community on Internet. That takes longer time to develop the network. This paper presents how to design and implement a range measuring sensor network with Z-Stack's Generic application and ultrasonic sensors based on CC2530, and then show experimental results through the implemented network. This work will make less time for a developer to implement a sensor network with Z-Stack.

  • Network security infrastructure is constantly developing based on the combination and blending of various types of devices. From the form of distributed control, the phased defense policy such as fire walls, virtual private communication network, invasion prevention system, invasion detection system, corporate security management, and TSM (Telebiometrics System Mechanism), now it consolidates security devices and solutions to be developed to the step of concentration and artificial intelligence. Therefore, this article suggests network security infrastructure design types concentrating security devices and solutions as platform types and provides network security infrastructure design selecting methodology, the foundational data to standardize platform design according to each situation so as to propose methodology that can realize and build the design which is readily applied and realized in the field and also can minimize the problems by controlling the interferences from invasion.

  • In this paper, a new routing protocol is proposed to manage selfish nodes which make a strategic choice to maximize only their own profits. To provide incentives to nodes on the path, VCG mechanism is introduced. Therefore, based on the collaborative actions among nodes, the entire network performance can be improved. With a simulation study, the proposed scheme can approximate an optimized solution while ensuring a well-balanced network performance under widely diverse network environments.

  • 수학을 기반으로 경제학에서 널리 사용되던 게임이론이 최근 네트워크 디자인 분야에서 중요한 수단으로 활용되고 있다. 통신 네트워크에서 게임이론의 응용 분야로는 혼잡 제어, 네트워크 라우팅, 네트워크 부하균형, 통신보안, 대역폭 가격선정, 무선 협력통신, 트래픽 컨트롤, 전력제어, 자원 할당과 서비스 품질 보장 등 다양한 분야가 존재한다. 본 고에서는 최근 주목받고 있는 게임이론의 기본개념과 발전해온 역사, 그리고 대표적인 게임모델들에 대하여 간단히 소개하고자 한다.

  • Developing a real time network game that is serviced on the internet requires a lot of work, time and manpower. Therefore, it is important to design a game in such a way so that existing design codes could be used. The area which is being studied to maximize the reusability of the existing design code is related to design patterns. If the developers are given various design techniques and application examples that use well defined design patterns, they will be able to make better game API(Application Programming Interface) and to invent a framework for game development based on this API as well. In this paper, the design patterns that the GoF(Gang of Four) proposed have been applied to develop and implement two kinds of network turn games. In the process, efficient design techniques will be proposed for the effective reuse of the existing game API.
