대기압 Ar/O2 플라즈마 표면처리된 자동차용 냉연강판의 표면특성 및 접착특성평가 (The Evaluation of Surface and Adhesive Bonding Properties for Cold Rolled Steel Sheet for Automotive Treated by Ar/O2 Atmospheric Pressure Plasma)

  • Cold rolled steel sheet for automotive was treated by Ar/$O_2$ atmospheric pressure plasma to improve the adhesive bonding strength. Through the contact angle test and calculation of surface free energy for cold rolled steel sheet, the changes of surface properties were investigated before and after plasma treatment. The contact angle was decreased and surface free energy was increased after plasma treatment. And the change of surface roughness and morphology were observed by AFM(Atomic Force Microscope). The surface roughness of steel sheet was slightly changed. Based on Taguchi method, single lap shear test was performed to investigate the effect of experimental parameter such as plasma power, treatment time and flow rate of $O_2$ gas. Results shows that the bonding strength of steel sheet treated in Ar/$O_2$ atmospheric pressure plasma was improved about 20% compared with untreated sheet.

산화철중 염소성분 제거기술 연구 (Study on Dechlorination of Iron Oxide)

  • 철강산업 냉연공장에서 산세공정중 발생하는 산화철은 대부분 전자재료용과 안료용 원료로 사용되고 있다. 특히 산화철중에는 여러 불순물이 포함되어 있는데 최근에는 염소성분 저감을 통한 고품질화가 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제로 냉연공장 산화수설비에서 배소로의 조업조건을 변경하며 산화철종 염소성분 제거실험을 하였으며, 산화수설비 배소로 후단에 탈염소장치를 설치하고 산화철의 탈염소 현장실험을 실시하였다. 실험결과 산화수설비 배소로의 현장 조업 범위내에서 산화철중 염소성분은 최대 1.100ppm으로 저감 가능 하였으며, 배소로에 부착한 탈염소 실험장치에서는 최대 360ppm 으로 저감 가능하였다.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate the influence of process parameters, such as power of laser, travel speed of laser and material thickness, on the practical cutting region and the kerfwidth for the case of cutting of CSP 1N sheet using high power Nd:YAG laser with continuous wave(CW). In order to find the practical cutting region and the relationship between process parameters on the kerfwidth, several laser cutting experiments are carried out. The effective heat input is introduced to consider the influence of power and travel speed of laser on the kerfwidth together. From the results of experiments, the allowable cutting region and the relationship between the effective heat input and kerfwidth for the case of cutting of CSP 1N sheet using high power CW Nd:YAG laser have been obtained to improve the dimensional accuracy of the cut area.

  • The cold-rolled steel sheet for automobile is liable to corrosion, and will be painting in a variety of ways for the anticorrosive. This paper was coated on cold rolled steel (SPCC and SPFC590) for automobiles using five kinds of organic/inorganic hybrid solution. This was evaluated corrosion resistance and so on by the salt spray. Corrosion area was less according to increasing of curing time in 2 types of steel plate with 5 types of the coating solution. No.1 solution was showed the best corrosion resistance regardless of the kinds of the steel sheet. It is judged that the melamin hardner had the role of bridge between $SiO_2$ polysilicate and urethan resin. Other properties were excellent in all solution.

  • Laser welding of metals has been widely used to improve a wear resistance and a corrosion resistance of the industrial parts. The objective of this research works is to investigate the influence of the process parameters, such as the welding for metals with CW Nd:YAG lasers. The bead-on-plate welding tests are carried out for several combinations of the experimental conditions. In order to quantitatively examine the characteristics of the butt welding, the welding quality of the cut section, stain-stress behavior and the hardness of the welded part are investigated. From the results of the investigation, it has been shown that the optimal welding condition without defects in the vicinity of the welded area and with a good welding quality is 1400W of the laser power, 0.8m/min, 0.9m/min of welding speed and $4{\ell}$ in of pressure for shielding gas.

자기장 영향에 따른 냉연압연 강판의 파이버 레이저 마이크로 접합 공정 (A Effects of Magnetic Field For Fiber Laser Micro Welding Process Using Carbon Steel of SCP1-S)

  • We have studied on welding dissimilar materials of Carbon steel SCP1-S by using laser beam. In this research we have performed some experiments to know the possibility of welding dissimilar materials using laser beam and magnetic fields by adjusting the power output of 35W laser. Other conditions of the experiments were as follows : the welding speed was varied in the range 10 m/min nitrogen gas was used as shield gas, the flow value of shield gas was ranged 10 L/min. In order to ascertain of the welded surface, we have done the tensile strength testing, the hardness testing and the microscope observation. As a result, we have found that tensile strength was the highest at the condition of the welding speed of 10mm/s, the flow value of 10 L/min, the gap of two materials 0, and the use of nitrogen gas. Above testings have also showed that the tensile strength was generally satisfactory since the penetration of welding was almost complete due to the thinness of the materials. In addition, the formation of the welded area was excellent when it had the highest tensile strength.

고밀도 알루미늄 박막이 코팅된 강판의 부식 특성

  • 알루미늄은 경량 금속으로 부식 저항력이 높아 철을 부식으로부터 보호하기 위한 표면처리 소재로 사용되고 있다. 철의 부식을 방지하기 위해서 알루미늄을 코팅하는 경우, 코팅 방법은 용융도금법이 주로 사용되고 있으며, 알루미늄을 빛의 반사막으로 활용하는 경우 진공 중에서 물리기상증착(physical vapor deposition; PVD)법을 사용하기도 한다. 알루미늄 박막을 물리기상 증착으로 코팅하면 박막성장 초기에 핵(nucleus)을 형성하고, 형성된 핵을 중심으로 주상정(column)으로 박막이 성장하는 것이 일반적이다. 알루미늄 박막의 주상정과 주상정 사이에 공극(pore)이 존재하기 때문에 알루미늄 박막을 부식방지 막으로 이용하기 위해서는 두께를 증가시켜야 한다. 본 연구에서는 스퍼터링(unbalanced magnetron sputtering)을 이용하여 치밀한 조직을 갖는 알루미늄 박막을 코팅할 수 있는 공정변수를 도출하고, 치밀한 알루미늄 조직이 철의 부식에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다. 기판은 냉연강판(cold rolled steel sheet)이 사용되었으며, 알루미늄 타겟의 크기는 직경 4 inch이었다. 알루미늄 박막의 미세조직과 밀도에 영향을 주는 공정변수를 확인하기 위해서 스퍼터링 파워, 공정 압력, 외부 자기장 세기 등의 조건을 변화시켜 코팅을 실시하였다. 알루미늄 박막의 밀도 변화에 가장 큰 영향을 준 공정변수는 외부 자기장의 세기와 방향이었다. 알루미늄 박막이 약 3 ${\mu}m$의 두께로 코팅된 냉연강판을 염수분무시험(salt spray test, 5% NaCl)으로 부식특성을 평가한 결과, 시험을 시작한 후 120시간 후에도 적청이 발생하지 않았다. 이러한 결과는 기존의 동일한 두께를 갖는 알루미늄이 코팅된 강판의 내부식 특성의 2배의 성능을 보여준다.

변형률속도효과를 고려한 일반냉연강판 점용접부의 피로수명평가 (Fatigue Life Evaluation of Spot Weldments of SPC Sheet Including Strain Rate Effect)

  • A methodology is described for predicting the fatigue life of the resistance spot weldment including strain rate effect. Because it is difficult to perform a physical failure test with high strain rate, an analytical method is necessary to get the mechanical properties of various strain rate, To this end, quasi-static tensile-shear tests at several strain rate were performed on spot weldments of SPC. These test provided the empirical data with the strain rate. With these results, we formulated the function of fatigue life prediction using the lethargy coefficient which is the global material property from tensile test. And, we predicted the fatigue life of spot weldment at dynamic strain rate. To confirm this method for fatigue life prediction, analytical results were compared with the experimental fatigue data.
