Visual relationships between Sarangche Numaru, Sarang Madang and Outer space (사랑채 누마루와 사랑마당 및 외부차경공간의 시각적 관계 -영남지방 조선시대 15~16세기 상류주택을 중심으로-)

  • This study is conducted to understand the different characteristic of the inner and outer spacing of Sarangche Numaru according to their geographical location conditions during its construction in 15-16th century. The results showed; first, for hill-type, the side of the Numaru that is in contact with the Sarang Madang makes a short side of Sarangche Numaru regardless of the Orientation and for flatland-type, the side of the Numaru in contact with the Sarang Madang makes a long side of Sarangche Numaru. Secondly, for hill-type, Sarang Madang is not focused as the main view, instead it supports the view of the mountains that are around however, for flatland-type, Sarang Madang is focused as the main view therefore, an inner garden is formed inside Sarang Madang. Lastly, for hill-type, Cho Shan is used as an appropriative landscape while for flatland-type, Sarang Madang is used as the main view and an inner garden is formed because of the diversification of Sarang Madang's function.

Effects of Facilities Linked to the Subway Stations on the Rent of Commercial Spaces Inside the Stations (지하철역과 연계된 시설이 역사 내부 상업공간 임대료에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to analyze whether facilities linked to the inside and outside of the station affect the revitalization of commercial spaces inside the station where individual rental stores are clustered. Rent, which can replace sales, was set as the determining factor for revitalization. In addition to the variables related to sales, culture, office work/residential, public institutions, and transportation facilities, the independent variables were the number of daily passengers, which is a location factor of the station, and the product sales business, which accounts for the largest number of industries in the commercial space inside the station. As a result of regression analysis, it was proved that rent has an effect on product sales business, linked sales facilities, transportation facilities, and the number of passengers on board. These results indicate that the formation of sales products that can increase purchasing power and the direction of facility linkage that can increase the inflow population into the station are needed to revitalize commercial spaces in the station. In this study, the establishment of a living-friendly SOC for residents' convenience daily life was suggested as a policy management plan for stations with a high vacancy rate due to reduced vitalization.

  • The concept of surface has become more relative and more relationship-oriented based upon interaction between spaces as the traditional realm of perception succumbed to that of a more flexible, open perspective. If surface characteristics are consideredas an interface, an interface with individual characteristics will form part of the whole and will become an element in the whole (the environment), manifesting itself as a medium incorporated in an architectural space. This authorintends to understand interface not as a mere intermediary space but as an intervening border that allows exchanges between different environments and as a medium that allows expressions of aesthetic order through organic order. Also, it is the Intention of this author to grasp extended meanings of interface.

  • This study examined the landscape characteristics of Daniel Libeskind's architecture by analyzing the perceived form characteristics visually and the sense of space recognized inside and outside the building in Daniel Libeskind architecture. The results showed that Libeskind is to deconstruct not only the 'temporal boundaries' but also the 'morphological contradiction' through sketch and public architecture by de-constructive language. These series of works could be interpreted as the space perceived time and space in the past by the 'Blurredness of temporal and spatial borderline'.

  • 알루미늄은 취약한 내식성을 보완하기 위하여 나노다공성의 산화물 피막을 형성하는 양극산화 처리를 주로 활용한다. 이러한 나노다공성 산화물 피막에 소수성 처리와 불용성의 윤활유를 침지하면 표면에 접촉하는 물을 비롯한 다른 유체들의 젖음성을 크게 감소시킬 수 있으며, 이로 인하여 부식성 물질이 다공성 구조물로 침입하는 것을 억제할 수 있다. 따라서 양극산화 피막에 윤활유 침지를 이용하여 알루미늄의 부식에 대한 저항성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있으며, 추가적으로 외부의 물리적인 손상에 대한 치유 능력을 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 성능뿐만 아니라 침지된 윤활유의 내구성은 나노다공성 산화피막의 물리적 형상에 따라 차이가 날 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 나노다공성의 양극산화 피막의 기공 구조를 다양하게 변화시켜 그 형상에 따라서 윤활유를 침지 후 알루미늄 소재의 내식성 및 자기 치유 특성의 차이에 대하여 알아보았다. 기공의 형상은 한쪽 끝이 막혀있는 기둥형, 후처리를 통한 확장된 기둥형 및 침상형의 기공 구조를 제조하였고, 전압제어를 통한 병목 형상의 기공 구조를 구현하여 그 특성 차이를 비교하였다. 기공들이 서로 고립된 형태를 가질수록 윤활유가 안정적으로 산화물에 침지될 수 있으며, 기공의 공간이 클수록 더 많이 윤활유를 포함하여 우수한 자기 치유 특성을 보여주었다. 병목 형상의 가공 구조는 내부의 충분한 크기의 기공 공간과 표면에 작은 기공을 가지고 있기 때문에 우수한 내구성과 자기 치유 특성을 보여준다.

  • 전통적인 VOF 기법을 이용한 내부 조파 방법을 레블셋 기법에 적용하였다. 기하학적으로 유리한 유한요소법을 이용하여, Navier-Stokes 방정식의 공간차분에는 Characteristic Galerkin 기법을, 시간차분에는 Fractional Four-step 기법을 적용하였다. 중심(x=0)에서 전파하는 경우, 외부조파에 의한 영역내 재반사 문제가 해결되어 선형파를 의도한 바대로 잘 조파할 수 있었다.

Ascertaining the Structure and Content of a National Scholarly Web Space Based on Content Analysis (내용 분석을 통한 한국의 학술적 웹 공간 구조 분석)

  • Since the Web is dynamic, it is necessary to analyze scholarly Web space with both quantitative and qualitative methods for better understanding of communication characteristics. In this study, we analyzed contents of pages and links to ascertain the characteristics of Korean scholarly Web space in terms of network structure and communication behavior. The result shows that the structure of the original network with all the external links remained is not much different from that of the network with activated external links only. However, the purposes of linking vary among scholarly institutions. The centrality measures correlate more strongly with the clustering coefficient than with the constraint index implying the similar explanatory power of the two types of structural indices.

A Case Study on Using Interactive Media of Large Space Structure (대공간구조물의 Interactive Media 적용 사례 분석)

  • Interactive media are applied to inner and outer space of small public space to enhance for the interaction between the spectator and works, also widely used in the exterior wall by LED and projector for advertisement. In the other hand, case studies of interactive media for large space have not less accomplished than those of buildings and public spaces. Thus, these studies analyzed 11 large structure examples by display, content, interface, and technology device by comparison of those cases of ordinary building public space. First interactive media for large space are found to be contents(39%), and next one is play(27%), advertisement(17%) and message(17%).

The Effects of Distance-Accessibility to the Complex Shopping Mall of 'Lotte Mall-Suwon' on the Prices of Its Neighboring Apartments within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City (복합쇼핑몰 '롯데몰 수원점'에 대한 거리 접근성이 수원시 권선구 내 인근 아파트가격에 미친 효과)

  • This study attempts to analyze the effects of distance-accessibility to the complex shopping mall of 'Lotte Mall-Suwon', located at the old central and catchment district of the Suwon station in the Province of Gyeonngi, on the prices of its neighboring apartments within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City by using the hierarchical and linear-difference in difference regression method. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, before construction the effects of distance-accessibility show the U-shaped pattern, suggesting that the negative external effects of noise and traffic congestion around the Suwon Station affected the prices of its neighboring apartments within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City. Second, the effects of distance-accessibility at different times, such as the construction period and after the opening, are statistically significant only in the latter, indicating the reverse U-shaped pattern unlike before the opening. This means that after the opening of the complex shopping mall its external effects as a leisure and convenience space have a positive effect on the prices of its neighboring apartments within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City. Third, the effects of distance-accessibility is at an inflection point around 1.6-1.7 kilometers, which means that the U-shaped distance-decay pattern before construction, while the reverse U-shaped pattern is shown after the opening of opening. The latter implies that apartments that are very close to the mall within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City enjoy relatively small positive externalities. Therefore, they are exposed to some negative external effects of noise and traffic congestion, but apartments with some distance apart within the Gwonseon-gu of Suwon City maximize those positive externalities. These results suggest that the effects to distance-accessibility are different from location to location.
