Development of Automatic Reference-Citation-Mark Attachment Support System (참고문헌 인용부호 자동부착 지원 시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, the design and implementation of an automatic reference-citation-mark attachment system are introduced. The system automatically attaches a citation mark to the end of a sentence in a technical document if the corresponding statement has a high similarity to another statement in the same document; simultaneously, the corresponding bibliographic data is automatically created from the cited-document information. In accordance with functional specifications, a Web-based, online service model and the development of its prototype system are proposed. The developed system can help in the elimination of unexpected plagiarism issues, and will alleviate the burdens of reference citation and reference-list creation for technical writers.

A Method of Graphic Representation of Mathematical Sentences for Game Generation (게임세대를 위한 수학문장의 그래픽 표현방법)

  • The information represented by graphic is preferred more than by text to the game generation familiar to computer games in the cognitive style. The learning to solve the math problems represented by graphic is significantly effective to improve learner's problem-solving power in math education. In this paper, we proposed a method of graphic representation of mathematical sentences for effective learning of the game generation. The proposed method arranges the unit informations in the logical structure and represent the logical interrelation between the informations by symbols, line segments, or arrows using the graphic elements with good visibility for the game generation to recognize easily and to understand accurately the logical meaning. The proposed method is able to represent accurately the math sentences until the detail level that appears the tense and the voice of the sentences differently from the previous graphic representation method's ability. The proposed method could be used as learning tools and used widely to represent graphically mathematical informations for the instructional scaffolding of an educational game in oder that the game generation could learn effectively.

The Study on Elementary Preservice Teachers' Content Knowledge in Arithmetic and Algebra Word Problems Solving Strategy (산술과 대수 영역의 문장제 문제해결 전략에 대한 초등 예비교사의 내용지식 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze that The arithmetic and algebraic word problem solving skill, strategy preference, and assessment ability of elementary preservice teachers is investigated using a statistical methodology. The research findings are as follows. First, elementary preservice teachers demonstrated logical and delicate problem solving behaviors in arithmetic and algebraic word problem solving. And elementary preservice teachers prefer to create a formula and table strategy in problem solving of the arithmetic question. Second, there was meaningful difference in the math and english elementary preservice teachers' appreciations with significant level of 0.05. And there was not meaningful difference in the 1 and 4 grade elementary preservice teachers' appreciations with significant level of ${\alpha}=0.05$. Results of the study suggest that teachers education course need to improve elementary preservice teachers' word problem solving skill, strategy preference, and assessment ability in the arithmetic and algebraic.

Constructing Tagged Corpus and Cue Word Patterns for Detecting Korean Hedge Sentences (한국어 Hedge 문장 인식을 위한 태깅 말뭉치 및 단서어구 패턴 구축)

  • A hedge is a linguistic device to express uncertainties. Hedges are used in a sentence when the writer is uncertain or has doubt about the contents of the sentence. Due to this uncertainty, sentences with hedges are considered to be non-factual. There are many applications which need to determine whether a sentence is factual or not. Detecting hedges has the advantage in information retrieval, and information extraction, and QnA systems, which make use of non-hedge sentences as target to get more accurate results. In this paper, we constructed Korean hedge corpus, and extracted generalized hedge cue-word patterns from the corpus, and then used them in detecting hedges. In our experiments, we achieved 78.6% in F1-measure.

Reading Speed Comparison: Paragraphs in Digital and Print Media (디지털 매체와 인쇄 매체에서의 문단 읽기 속도 비교)

  • This study aimed to examine whether there are differences in reading performance between digital and print media by measuring reading speed of paragraphs on print materials and tablet PC. To investigate whether the physical characteristics of the media influence reading performance, the format of text was kept as similar as possible between print and digital media. We also compared conditions in which paragraphs consisted of either long or short sentences to explore if there were differential effects on reading performance based on sentence length across different media. Additionally, reading speed was analyzed based on reading span to investigate whether there were differences in reading performance according to participants' working memory capacity. As a result, reading speed was faster when reading print media compared to digital media. However, there was no difference in reading speed based on the length of sentences composing the paragraphs. Participants with a higher reading span exhibited faster reading speed compared to participants with a lower reading span. Moreover, participants with a higher reading span read paragraphs composed of long sentences faster on print media than on digital media. The findings of this study suggest that visual fatigue induced by tablet PCs and participants' working memory capacity may impact reading speed.

Automatic Extraction of Paraphrases from a Parallel Bible Corpus (정렬된 성경 코퍼스로부터 바꿔쓰기표현(paraphrase)의 자동 추출)

  • In this paper, we present a pilot system that can extract paraphrases from a parallel corpus using to-training method. Paraphrases are useful for the applications that should rreate a varied ind fluent text, such as machine translation, question-answering system, and multidocument summarization system. One of the difficulties in extracting paraphrases is to find a rich source from which we can extract paraphrases. The bible is one of the good sources fur extracting paraphrases as it has several Korean versions in which every sentence can be easily aligned by the chapter and the verse. We ran extract not only the lexical-level paraphrases but also the phrasal-level paraphrases from the parallel corpus which consists of the bibles using co-training method.

Study on the Vocabulary Synthesis for Index Term Selection (색인어 선정을 위한 어휘결집력에 관한 연구)

  • Under the hypothesis that any pair of terms in the sentence is meaningful to present the context of the paper, the Brillouin measure of term relatedness in automatic indexing is proposed. For the experiment, the pair of terms simul-taneously appeared in two or more sentences of the paper are extracted from the title and abstract of the paper. Com-pared with the list of index terms or subject headings suggested by the author, the terms in term relatedness graph are highly matched with the terms in the list. Especially, it is revealed that the rank of terms by synthetic strength is use-ful in the selection of index terms.

  • 목적 지향 대화 시스템은 사용자가 원하는 목적을 달성하기 위해 사용하는 시스템으로 일상 대화와 다르게 시스템이 정보를 명확히 전달하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 최근 연구에서 목적 지향 대화 시스템을 위한 자연어 생성 모델은 정해진 대화 정책에 따라 알맞은 응답을 생성할 수 있도록 의도와 슬롯 정보를 담은 대화 행위(Dialog Act)를 활용한다. 하지만 대화 행위는 생성하는 문장을 탁월하게 제어하는 반면에 대화의 흐름과 상황에 맞게 다양한 문장을 생성하기 어렵다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해소하고자 본 논문에서는 목적에 부합하는 내용을 명확하게 자연어로 생성하기 위해 대화 행위를 사용하면서 동시에 일상 대화 생성 모델과 같이 문맥을 고려하여 대화 흐름에 어울리는 자연스러운 문장을 생성할 수 있는 문맥 기반의 제어 가능한 자연어 생성 모델을 제안한다. 실험에서는 KoGPT2 사전 학습 모델과 한국어 대화 데이터셋을 사용하였으며 실험을 통해 대화 행위 기반의 자연어 생성 모델과 본 연구에서 제안한 문맥 기반의 제어 가능한 자연어 생성 모델을 비교하였다. 결과적으로 대화 행위를 단독으로 학습한 모델보다 일정 문맥을 함께 학습한 모델이 유의미한 BLEU 점수 향상을 보인다는 점을 확인하였다.

A Study on the MARC Format for Holdings Data (소장데이터용 MARC 포맷에 관한 연구)

  • This article investigates the general characteristics and developments of the MARC format for holdings data. It also analyzes the record structure, content designation, and the content of it, mainly based on USMARC and KORMARC formats. Structure and content designation of them are almost same with those of the bibliographic and authority formats. The data fields divided into functional blocks based on their functions, but only 0XX, 5XX, 8XX fields are used in the holdings formats. Record contents of the data in the 008 fields include more elements related to the holdings and acquisition information. Variable fields can be grouped into several blocks, including those for numbers and codes; for notes fields, for location , and for holdings data. Holdings data fields include caption and pattern fields, enumeration and chronology fields, textual holdings fields, and item information fields. This article analyzes the content in each data fields in detail.

  • 언어 연구에 관한 방법론은 단위구조적(modular) 접근방법과 총체론적(holistic) 접근방법으로 대별될 수 있다. 전자는 인지체계가 독자적 인지단위로 나뉘어져 있으며 그 중 하나가 언어기능임을 가정하고 있다. 즉 언어는 언어기능과 여타 인지단위로 상호작용함으로써 성립된다고 가정하는 것이다. 이에 비해 후자는 언어가 총체로서의 인지체계의 소산임을 가정하며, 따라서 언어기능이란 존재를 부정한다. 이러한 총체론적 언어이론에서는 신체의 구조가 보이는 단위구 조성과 심적 수조의 총체성 사이의 "불균형"을 어떻게 설명할 것인가의 의문이 제기된다. 이 글에서는 단위 구조설의 내용이 간략히 소개된다. 언어기능을 이루고 있는 보편문법 및 개별문법의 개념이 논의되는 가운데, 과거에도 그랬고 현재에도 계속 논란의 대상이 되고 있는 이른바 "문법성"의 개념이 중점적으로 다루어진다. 문법성과 허용성이 별개의 개념일진대, 문법적이면서도 허용되지 않은 문장이 있을 수 있고, 비문법적이면서도 허용되는 문장도 있을 수 있어야 한다. 이 후자의 경우도 실제로 존재함이 보여질 것이다.
