This study aims to provide intellectual access to TV content using faceted classification. In order to describe the content of news and current affairs programs, a faceted approach was explored. Based on the Ranganathan's PMEST formula, the basic facets - 'who', 'what', 'how', 'where', 'when' - and their sub-facets were created, specifically for describing the news genre. Additionally, the formal structure and the contextual features of the news genre were mainly considered for creating sub-facets. These created facets were applied to a news genre program. The result shows that these suggested facets are useful for representing well the contextual components of the news genre. The application of faceted classification is expected to improve the identification of the specific TV content.

인터넷이 널리 보급되면서 발달한 온라인상에서 사용자들이 서로 공유된 가상공간의 다른 사용자와 상호작용할 수 있는 다사용자온라인게임은 그 시나리오나 수용방식에 대한 변화 가능성에 관한 내용을 다루고 있을 뿐, 그래픽 인터페이스에 관한 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 인터넷이라는 매체적 특징을 이용하여 다사용자온라인게임 사용자간의 상호작용에 주목하였고, 그러한 상호작용 요소를 중점적으로 한 그래픽인터페이스 요소를 추출하여 내용분석을 시행하였다. 본 내용분석을 위하여 각종 관련 게임 사이트에서 160개 게임의 905개 스크린 샷을 수집하여 빈도분석과 교차분석을 시행한 결과를 종합하여 보면 다사용자온라인게임은 3D그래픽 기술의 발전으로 캐릭터와 배경 및 시점에 있어 실재감 있는 화면과 애니메이션을 통해 사용자들의 가상현실 체험을 높이고 있다. 이를 위해 실재감을 방해할 수 있는 다른 조작요소의 색은 상대적으로 어둡고 공간을 작게 차지하도록 하는 경향을 띠고 있는 것으로 보인다. 이를 위해 기존의 게임과는 다른 인터페이스 레이아웃이 발전되어 자리잡고 있으며 또한 비교적 성공을 거둔 것으로 파악되는 인기도가 높은 게임의 경우를 미루어 보아 게임의 소재와 배경은 모호하게 설정하여 현실세계와 다르면서도 어디엔가 존재할 수 있음직한 세계를 설정하여 재미와 실재감을 동시에 높이고 있는 것으로 보인다. 또한 이러한 인터페이스의 변화를 주도하는 요인으로는 문화적, 기술적, 디자인적 요인으로 나뉠 수 있으며 각 요인들에 의한 획기적 인터페이스의 등장은 다른 게임들에도 영향을 미치게 되어 결국 인터페이스 유형 자체를 변화시키는 것으로 분석되었다.

Fa SI(Sysrem Intergration)분야에 있어서 PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)와 컴퓨터간의 접속은 필수 불가결한 요소기술로 자리잡고 있으며, 이러한 기술변화에 맞춰서 기존 유니트의 기술적 발전뿐 아니라 타 유니트와 접속등의 네트워킹에 관련된 내용이 하드웨어, 소트프웨어적으로 발전되고 있는 추세이다. 시스템통합을 하기 위해서는 기본적으로 PLC Networking을 하드웨어, 소프트웨어적으로 수행하여야 하나, 많은 연구들이 PLC 통신 유니트의 기술적 향상 및 표준화에 대한 부분으로 되어왔었다. 본 논문은 정보시스템을 구축할 때 PLC에서 처리하여야 하는 데이터, 혹은 컴퓨터와 송수신 받아야 하는 자료들에 대한 내용과 이들 자료를 PLC 내부에서 처리하는 방법론에 대해 기술코자 한다. 일반적인 Interface 방법으로 접점연결(Point to Point Connection)과 컴퓨터링크유니트에 대한 내용을 파악해보고, 설비고장진단 및 이상발생에 대한 추적이 가능하도록 PLC Memory내에 PLC접점데이타를 직접접근방식(Direct Accssing Method)과 간접접근방식 (Indirect Accssing Method)으로 구분하고, 간접접근방식을 요소(Element), 동작(Event)에 의한 방법론을 이용하여 PLC DATA를 처리토록 하는 내용을 설명하고자 한다.

The metadata elements of TV programs were designed based on PBCore (Public Broadcasting Metadata Dictionary), which is useful descriptive metadata for TV programs, and on interview results with TV program records managers. TV program information was visualized to extract core information and build a proper schema. Through this analysis, detailed metadata elements were designed in four representative areas: intellectual content, intellectual property, instantiation and extensions.

한국농촌경제연구원 농업관측정보센터는 지난 1월 21일 잠실 롯데호텔에서 장태평 농림수산식품부 장관 등 1500여명이 참석한 가운데 우리 농업 농촌에 닥친 도전 요소를 살펴보고 희망을 모색하는 시간을 갖고자 "농업전망 2009 발표대회"를 개최하였다. 이에 본지에서는 농업전망 2009 발표대회 내용중 사료산업과 관련하여 김용택 선임 연구위원이 발표한 "국제곡물 수급 및 가격 전망과 대응"내용 부분을 요약 게재한다.

고등학교 1학년 공통과학(융합과학) 중 천문 분야의 교수 학습 지원을 위한 스마트교육 콘텐츠 자료실을 개발하였다. 공통과학과 관련한 현장 연구의 결과들은 개념 전달의 어려움과 함께 과학적 사고를 위한 탐구활동이 절대적으로 부족함을 제시하고 있다. 이에 교사들이 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 스마트교육 콘텐츠를 정리하고 이를 소개하여 학생들이 과학적인 탐구 활동을 통해 천문학 개념 이해에 도달 할 수 있도록 돕고자 하였다. 자료실 개발을 위해 공통과학 각 단원별 내용요소를 정리하고, 내용요소별로 관련된 스마트교육 콘텐츠를 수집한 후, 가장 적합하고 유용하다고 여겨지는 자료들만을 골라 이미지, 동영상, 시뮬레이터, 활동으로 분류하였다. 수집 및 분류한 스마트교육 콘텐츠들을 효율적이며 지속적으로 제공하기 위해서 온라인 자료실 형태의 사이트(astroedu.knue.ac.kr)로 개발하였다. 의견을 수렴하기 위해 현직 및 예비 교사들로부터 두 번의 공개 시연을 거쳐 수요자 중심으로 보완 작업을 실시하였다. 개발된 사이트는 교사와 학생들에게 필요한 스마트교육 콘텐츠를 찾아 제공하는 중간 공급자가 되어 교수 학습 지원의 역할을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

This paper analyse the learners' satisfaction for the usability of distance teaming system. We have analysed collected data regarding the learners' satisfaction with the online Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program as an example. The learner responses from the focus groups broke down into the following five themes: General program issues, Course issues, Communication/interaction issues, On-campus experience issues, Technology issues. The feedback can be applied to most online learning environments as a guideline for teaching and developing of online course.

For the increasingly complicated and technology dependent 21st century, ICT literacy is being emphasized by education authorities as a key ability needed to succeed in a knowledge-based society. Accordingly, since 2007, several studies have been conducted to measure the ICT literacy levels of students. This study aimed at analyzing how ICT literacy levels vary according to students' skill sets from the viewpoint of educational convenience. To fulfill this goal, the ICT literacy abilities of 167 elementary students and 159 middle school students (all receiving education at "gifted students" education centers) were compared with the following results. First, elementary students displayed differences with regards to 'computer and network' and 'information society and ethics' among the content elements, and 'critical mind' and 'information communication' among capability elements according to their skill sets. Second, middle school students displayed differences with regards to 'information society and ethics' and 'information organization and creation' elements according to their skill sets. The significance of this study lies in the fact that it measured the ICT literacy levels of --and made suggestions for education to-- students specially gifted in information, science and mathematics rather than general students.

This study analyzed questions related to the content knowledge on the subject of chemistry for middle and high school teacher employment examinations conducted from the school years 2009 to 2013 based on the evaluation scope of the chemistry subject content knowledge and evaluation contents that were presented by the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE). To achieve the objectives of this study, a total of 140 questions were collected with respect to the questions that appeared on the test over the last 5 years, which aimed to evaluate the level of applicants' knowledge related to the contents of chemistry subject. The ratio of the contents covered in the test was assessed based on the scope of evaluation and the items for evaluation among the 4 subjects. Based on the results, suggestions were presented in relation to the operation of the chemistry curriculum for the Department of Chemistry Education at the college of education or the restructuring of the evaluation scope. There was a significant difference in the ratio of items that appeared on the test among the 4 subjects related to the content knowledge on chemistry. Also, there was a remarkable difference in the ratio of items covered in the test among the evaluation scope by subject. The results of the analysis on the evaluation content items suggested that 41 items out of 122 did not appear in the teacher employment examination for 5 years. Based on such results of analysis, this study discussed the need for readjusting the ratio of items covered in the test on content knowledge related to chemistry or the evaluation scope and evaluation content items.

The purpose of this study is to develop a 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum(plan) for high school home economics based on backward design. In this study, the content elements of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' were extracted through literature analysis, and the need for contents of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' was surveyed in 197 families of home economics teachers and 154 high school students. Based on this, the 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum(plan) of high school home economics curriculum was developed as the backward design, and it was verified by the expert group. The results are as follows: First, when measured on a 5-point Likert scale, the mean scores of the need for content elements of 'Healthy Couple Relationship' was 4.39 for teachers, and 4.02 for students, respectively. The content elements of 'understanding dating violence' was 4.70 for teachers and 4.19 for students. Second, the developed 'Healthy Couple Relationship' curriculum consists of two templates, one for each unit, including curriculum goals, unit composition and unit goals, 8 learning subjects and content elements, evaluation plans including 24 lesson plans. In this study, it is meaningful to propose a "Healthy Couple Relationship" curriculum as an elective course in high school home economics curriculum in preparation for the high school credit system, and to lay the foundations for opening elective courses.
