Analysis of ESD-Related Content in Clothing Management Unit of Technology and Home Economics Textbooks of 2015 Revised Curriculum (2015 개정 교육과정 중학교 기술·가정 교과서 '의복관리와 재활용' 관련 내용의 지속가능발전교육(ESD) 연관성 및 탐구적 성향 분석)

  • This study aimed at analyzing the clothing management units of technology and home economics textbooks in terms of their contents related to Education for Sustainable Development(ESD). The inquisitive tendency of the textbooks was also examined adopting the modified Romey's method, because it is known as an important factor in increasing student's class participation in sustainable clothing management and inducing practical behavior. First, the learning contents of clothing management unit were analyzed according to the social/political/cultural, environmental, and economic perspectives of ESD. As a result, ESD contents from social/political/cultural perspectives (safety, and health and food), environmental perspectives (natural resources, energy, and environmental problem), and the economic perspectives (sustainable production and consumption) were identified, with a heavy focus on environmental perspective. Secondly, Romey's inquisitive content analysis method was modified to analyze texts, pictures/charts, and learning activities of the clothing management unit. In all textbooks, facts and definitions were the dominant types of contents, which means less opportunities for development of inquiry ability. In conclusion, the ESD contents of the clothing management unit are inclined to the environmental perspective, and it is necessary that textbook development would need to be balanced between three perspectives. Also, future textbook authors will need to improve the inquisitive tendency of the textbooks to encourage student participation in class and induce practical application in real life.

  • 이 내용은 문화광광부의‘ 2005문화산업통계’를 인용하여 작성한 내용으로 1부와 2부로 나누어 분석했다. 1부에서는 조사대상 213개 애니메이션업체 중 152개업체의 응답 및 조사를 통해 만들어진 자료를 바탕으로 크게 애니메이션업계의 일반현황과 매출액현황으로 구분했다. 일반현황은 설립연도현황, 제작비용내역현황, 지적재산권 등이며 매출액현황은 사업형태별, 지역별, 매출규모별, 종사자규모별, 수입, 수출별등 다양한 관점에서 조사된 통계내용이다. 따라서 제시된 각 항목의 통계를 통해 특징을 분석하고 이를 통해 애니메이션 산업의 발전을 위한 제안을 모색해 보고자 한다.

A Study on the Structure and Character of Abstracts (초록의 구조와 속성에 관한 연구)

  • 이 연구는 정보관리학회지에 실린 국문과 영문 초록을 중심으로 초록의 구조와 그 속성을 파악하고자 한다. 이를 위해 학회지의 저자초록을 중심으로 편집규정, 초록의 종류, 구조, 문장분석, 내용분석, 문체분석을 하였다. 대상초록은 1997년과 2014년에 간행된 학회지 논문이다. 그 결과 1997년까지는 지시적 초록이었으며 이후 대부분 정보적 초록으로 나타났다. 초록의 내용은 1997년에는 수록 논문의 68%가 목적 범위와 연구방법으로, 2014년에는 84%가 목적 범위/연구방법/결과 결론으로 나타났다.

A Comparative Study on the Connection between Elementary and Secondary Science Contents of DPRK and Republic of Korea (한국과 북한의 초·중등학교 지구과학 내용의 연계성에 대한 비교연구)

  • This research investigated the connection between science textbook contents in Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and those in Republic of Korea (ROK). Both text books in the field of earth science were analyzed and classified into 70 categories based on the Third International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS). Comparison was specifically made between the elementary and middle school text books of both countries; the result are as follows: First, the scope and the level of the textbooks' contents are quite different between DPRK and ROK. Text books in the South are much limited in concepts and terms than those in the North. In contrast, textbooks in DPRK are written mainly to explain concepts. Second, there are many common contents of the textbooks in DPRK and Republic of Korea. The level and scope of the contents in Republic of Korea are more inquisitive, quantitative and detailed than those in DPRK. Third, we found content connections in science textbooks between primary and secondary schools in both countries: 27 items (38.5%) are related in ROK and 19 items (27.1%) in DPRK.

Educational Implications of Pre-Service Science Teachers' Education by Analysis of Connection between Learning Contents Presented in the High School 'Science' and in the Pre-Service Science Textbooks of College of Education (고등학교 융합형 과학의 학습내용과 사범대학 예비과학교사 교육내용과의 연관성 분석을 통한 예비과학교사교육에 대한 시사점 고찰)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the learning contents presented in high school science and in pre-service science textbooks of college of education, and to examine educational implications for pre-service science teachers by analysing their connection to each other. High school science is called as 'convergence science.' Seven high school science textbooks and eleven science textbooks related to physics, chemistry, biological science, and earth science for pre-service teachers were selected to analyse learning contents. The relationship between high school science with those of college-level science textbooks for pre-service science teachers was found when the learning contents were compared. Science textbooks for pre-service science teachers have the biggest number of learning contents on the chapter 'Energy and Environment' of high school science. About 86.6% of learning contents of high school science were introduced on textbooks on science, but pre-service teachers should learn the remainder. The part of learning contents presented in high school science textbooks was higher than the college-level for pre-service science teachers. Moreover, the part of learning contents was included in Engineering & Technology. And these required a special teacher education. Accordingly, the results suggested that learning contents for high school science should be optimized and reduced. Also, various educational programs should be developed and educational curriculum for pre-service science teachers should be revised.

A Study on the Core Values of Presidents Based on the Content Analysis of the Presidential Speech Archives (대통령 연설기록 내용분석을 통한 역대 대통령의 중심가치 연구)

  • This study reveals the core values of presidents based on the content analysis of the Presidential Speech Archives and examines the policy direction of each government from a macro perspective. For this purpose, we collected the speech archives provided by the Presidential Archives and compared central words. The Presidential Speech Archives is helpful for understanding the problem-solving capacity and consciousness of presidents. Among them, we particularly selected statements in the diplomatic and trade fields as the main study targets. As a result, the presidents have basically pursued peaceful resolution and cooperation on diplomatic issues. In addition, they placed a high priority in the implementation of the economic policy in the diplomatic and trade fields.
