This paper presents a distributed multimedia synchronization algorithm that supports both intramedia and intermedia synchronizations. The intramedia synchronization is achieved by media scaling techniques, and the intermedia synchronization is achieved by variable service rates. We compute the check period between master media's and slave media's relative time stamps for intermedia synchronization. We also evaluate our algorithm through simulations. Simulation results show that our algorithm performs well in both intramedia and intermedia synchronizations.

본 논문은 방송국으로부터 기준 시각을 전송 받은 DTV를 Network Time Server로 활용함으로써 가정, 사무실, 공장 내의 네트워크 기기들에 대한 시각동기를 맞추는데 목적이 있다. 기존의 옥내 네트워크 시스템에서 발생하는 시간의 불일치를 해소하기 위하여 GPS를 이용한 Common-View방식으로 방송국간의 시각동기를 맞추고 방송채널을 이용하여 모든 DTV와도 동기를 맞춘다. DTV는 옥내 시간관리 서버 또는 Network Time Server로서 역할을 수행하며, 건물 내 네트워크 장비에 대한 시각동기를 수행한다. 또한 시각동기를 개선시키기 위해서는 시각 정밀도를 향상시키는 알고리즘을- 적용할 도 있다. 이러한 시각동기를 이용하여 공장내 네트워크 시스템, 사무 자동화 시스템, DTV 기반 홈네트워킹 등의 응용에 적용될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effects of job satisfaction on the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation of individual and creative behavior and to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and creative behaviors. For this purpose, a total of 300 questionnaires were distributed to public officials working in three local governments (GGun, KGun and HGun) in Jeollanam-do, and 213 surveys (71%) were used. The results of the study are as follows. First, It was shown that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation has a positive effect on creative behavior. The effect of extrinsic motivation on creative behavior is the same as the recent research flow. Second, intrinsic motivation positively affects job satisfaction, but extrinsic motivation has no statistically significant effect on job satisfaction about intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and job satisfaction. Third, in the relationship between job satisfaction and creative behavior, it was shown that job satisfaction has a positive effect on creative behavior. Fourth, as a result of verifying the mediating effect of job satisfaction on the relationship between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation and creative behavior, intrinsic motivation has a significant influence on creative behavior through the mediation of job satisfaction. On the other hand, there was no mediating effect of job satisfaction between extrinsic motivation and creative behavior.

This study aimed to identify the correlation between internal/external motive, academic failure (emotion, behavior, task preference), depression (depressive emotion, behavioral disorder, loss of interest, self-degradation and physiological symptom), and academic efficacy of elementary school students with underachievement basic learning, and discover the influential variables on internal/external motive, targeting 56 elementary school students with underachievement in third and fifth grade of 10 elementary schools in G metropolitan city. The research conducted T-test to figure out the difference between the children with underachievement by year and carried out theregression analysis to identify the predictors of self-determination motives. First, there was a difference between the third and fifth graders in terms of the external motives. Second, the influential variables for external motives of children with underachievement included depressive emotion, loss of interest and physiological symptom. Therefore, as more third graders with underachievement study under the external motives compared to the fifth graders, it is concluded necessary to adopt a program to reduce the variables for depression that influence the external motives.

국내에서 이용객수가 많은 6개 고속철도 역사와 운행 중인 고속열차(KTX)에 심장마비 환자에 대한 응급처치 장비로서 자동제세동기가 2009년에 설치되었다. 이와 관련하여 6개 역사의 역무원 및 고속열차 승무원과 일반대중에게 심폐소생술 및 자동제세동기 사용법과 일반대중 제세동기 사용허용을 교육하는 고속철도 자동제세동기 보급 및 교육사업도 시행되었다. 이를 통해서 국내 응급의료체계가 한 단계 발전하는 계기가 되었으며 국내 고속철도가 심장마비 환자의 응급 대처 능력을 갖추게 되어, 역사 및 고속열차 안에서 심장마비 환자가 발생하더라도 신속한 대응을 할 수 있을 것으로 기대할 수 있겠다. 본 연구는 이러한 역사 및 고속열차 내에서의 응급의료체계 향상을 위한 노력을 자동제세동기 배치를 통하여 알아보며, 이에 따라 다양한 교통편 및 다중이용시설의 사고, 재난 및 응급 대응이 현재까지 해 오던 건축물 안전, 법규 마련 뿐 만 아닌 인명 피해 감소를 위한 응급의료체계라는 매우 중요한 부분이 있음을 이해하고 이에 대한 시스템 개발 및 대처도 안전과 방재 측면에서 같이 다루어져야 함을 본 연구 내용은 강조하고 있다.

The purpose of this study wat to investigate relationships of learning motivation and self-efficacy according to participation in a motivational program for university freshman studying physical education. A total of 66 university freshman participated in the current study and divided into experimental group and control group. Questionnaires were distributed before and after motivational program. Statistical methods used in this study were descriptive analysis, paired t-test, ANOVA, and ANCOVA. The results showed the following. First, There was a significant difference in the external motivation variable of learning motivation of the experimental group. Second, the experimental group showed a statistical difference between pretest and posttest in the confidence variable of self-efficacy. positive attitude influenced on leisure satisfaction.

와이브로(Wibro) 또는 WiFI 망에서 동일한 멀티캐스트 그룹에 속한 이동 단말기들은 동일한 MBS(멀티캐스트/브로드캐스트 방송 서비스) 콘텐츠를 수신한다. 동일한 MBS 존 내의 기지국(RAS: Radio Access Station) 들이 MBS 콘텐츠 소스로부터 수신된 MBS 콘텐츠에 대한 전송 시간을 동기화할 수 있도록 기지국들은 전송 동기화 정보와 신뢰성 있는 데이터 패킷 수신을 동기 시간을 결정하기 이전에 보장받을 수 있어야 한다. 만약에 동일한 MBS 존에 속하는 다수의 기지국 중에 전송 동기화 정보를 수신하지 못하거나 패킷 데이터 일부 또는 전부를 수신하지 못한다면, 동기 전송 시간을 결정하기 전에 이미 손실된 정보와 패킷 데이터를 이동 단말기로 전송하게 됨으로써 이동 단말기가 MBS 콘텐츠를 수신하면서 동일 MBS 존 내의 다른 기지국으로 핸드오버하게 되면 MBS 콘텐츠에 대한 끊김없는 수신을 보장할 수 없을 뿐만 아니라 매크로 다이버시티(macro diversity) 이득을 얻기 위한 동일한 MBS 존에서 이동 단말기들에게 전송되는 MBS 콘텐츠들의 동기를 보장 할 수 없다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 동기 전송 시간을 결정하기 앞서서 다수의 RAS가 전송 동기화 정보와 신뢰성 있는 패킷 데이터 콘텐츠 수신을 보장받을 수 있는 장치를 보완한 멀티캐스트/브로드캐스트 서비스 데이터 전송 동기화 방법을 제안한다.

Tests of intrinsic-extrinsic motivation, self-efficacy, and creativity were administered to 75 college students. Results were analyzed by Pearson's correlation, partial correlation and Barron and Kenny's(1986) model. The main results were that (1) creativity was positively correlated with intrinsic motivation and negatively correlated with extrinsic motivation. (2) Self-efficacy played an important mediating role in the relationship between extrinsic motivation and creativity, but not in the relationship between intrinsic motivation and creativity, suggesting that extrinsic motivation negatively affects creativity because it lowers self-efficacy, which is intimately related with creativity. (3) The negative effect of extrinsic motivation on creativity was explained by such sub-factors of self-efficacy as self-confidence and preference for difficult tasks, but not by self-regulatory efficacy.

Asynchronous mode W-CDMA system is kmown to be quite appropriate to the next generation mobile communication system, especially in a non-homogenious cellular architecture. In this case, however, each base station needs to use different spreading code for identification, so it is a demeanding task for a mobile terminal to find the best cell site and get an accurate code synchronization at the beginning of a communication. Since slow acquisition of a base station could mean the failure of initiation, a fast algorithm to accelerate the cell search process is essential. In this paper, a new cell search algorithm based on the binary code position modulation within the code block is proposed. Different cell sites are identified by different hopping code sequences, andeach position modulation is performed by the hopping code. The proposed algorithm is proved to make the cell search time in most places in a cell much shorter than the previous algorithms, and to make the receiver implementation simpler.
