  • Most questions made for remote examinations on web-based education system use methods of making questions using fixed questions or randomly using item pools or automatically using degree of difficulty. Particularly, automatically selection methods using degree of difficulty is the kernel of a question that objectivity of examination questions by degree of difficulty adjustment based result of examination. This paper is use automatically selection methods for examination on web-based education system. Therefore we present new algorithms of mediateness degree of difficulty as regards education ability of students for adjust the degree of difficulty. We identified this algorithms is more effective as compared with previously algorithms on web-based education system

  • 가상학습 시스템에서의 효율적인 평가를 위해 문제 출제 방법 및 문제의 난이도 재조정에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 온라인상에서의 학습은 학습자 스스로 자신의 학업 성취도에 대한 올바른 진단을 함으로써 다음의 학습 진도 및 방향을 스스로 판단해야 하기 때문에 평가 방법 및 평가 문제가 무엇보다 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 따라서 문제 은행에 문제를 등록하는 시점에서 출제자의 주관적인 판단에 의해 부여되는 문제 난이도의 객관성 입증과 학습자의 학업 성취도를 출제 문제에 반영하는 방법으로서 평가 결과에 따른 문제의 난이도 재조정으로 인한 출제 문제의 신뢰성이 아주 중요한 문제라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 초기 문제 난이도에 대한 객관성을 최대한 높임과 동시에 보다 실질적인 평가를 위한 문제 출제 방법과 보다 신뢰할 수 있는 학업 성취도를 출제 문제에 반영하는 난이도 재조정 방법을 적용함으로써 보다 효율적이고 객관적으로 문제은행의 문제를 관리할 수 있는 방법을 제시한다.

  • 웹 기반 교육 시스템에서 문제 집합 구성은 주로 고정 출제 방식, 무작위 출제 방식, 난이도에 따른 출제 방식으로 이루어진다. 문제 집합의 구성 시 문제 은행에서 문제 난이도에 대한 객관성을 유지하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 난이도를 재조정하는데 학습자들의 문제 풀이 결과를 반영하는 새로운 난이도 재조정 알고리즘을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 학습자 피드백 기반 문제 수준 조절 방법은 개인 시험 결과, 그룹 시험 결과 그리고 개인의 특정 섹션 시험 결과를 함께 고려하여 난이도를 조절한다. 기존 알고리즘과 비교 분석한 결과 문제 난이도의 변화율 측면에서 보다 현실적인 문제 난이도 변화를 확인할 수 있었다.

Particularly, automatically selection methods using degree of difficulty is the kernel of a question that objectivity of the first degree of difficulty for questions and an effective questions selection using degree of difficulty and mediateness degree of difficulty based result of examination. This paper is use automatically selection methods for examination on web-based education system. Firstly, we present new question selection algorithms as regards degree of difficulty and distribution between all units. Secondly, we present new algorithms of mediateness degree of difficulty as regards education ability of students for adjust the degree of difficulty. We identified this algorithms is more effective as compared with previously algorithms on web-based education system.

  • For the questions asked for LMS-based online evaluation the professor directly set exam questions, or use the automatic question-taking method according to the level of difficulty using the question bank divided by category. Among them, it is important to manage the difficulty of questions in an objective and efficient way, above all, in the automatic question-taking method according to difficulty. Because the questions presented to the evaluators may be different. In this paper, we propose an difficulty re-adjustment algorithm that considers not only the correct rate of a problem but also the time taken to solve the problem. For this, a logistic regression classification algorithm was used of machine learning, and a reference threshold was set based on the predicted probability value of the learning model and used to readjust the difficulty of each item. As a result, it was confirmed that there were many changes in the difficulty of each item that depended only on the existing correct rate. Also, as a result of performing group evaluation using the adjustment difficulty problem, it was confirmed that the average score improved in most groups compared to the difficulty problem based on the percentage of correct answers.

  • 급속한 정보통신 기술의 발달은 교육에서도 새로운 패러다임을 요구하고 있다. 수동적이며, 일방적인 교육 시스템에서 즉각적인 피드백과 학습자의 자기주도적인 학습패턴을 지원하는 교수-학습 및 평가 시스템을 요구하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 문제 출제 중심의 평가시스템이 학습내용의 정 오답만을 평가하고, 적절한 피드백을 제시하지 못하는 단점을 보완하여 질적인 피드백을 지원하는 문제 출제 중심의 웹기반 교육평가시스템을 구현하였다. 학습자의 평가결과를 분석하여 문제출제의 난이도를 재조정하며, 학습자의 학습결손과 선수학습에 대한 정보를 제공하여 학습자로 하여금 적극적이며, 능동적인 학습 진행의 주체자 역할을 가능하게 한다.

  • Internet has been applied to the educational field such as data search, lecture by motion picture, realtime examination. Most questions made for these remote examinations use methods of making questions randomly using fixed questions or item pools. The designed system in this paper makes questions without knowing MARK-UP language and after undergoing examinations on Web. Also it readjusts degree of difficulty automatically on the basis of the rate of correct answers. In addition, this enables learners to perform feedback learning after examinations and subsequently learners themselves to adjust their degree of difficulty and undergo reexaminations. The automatic selection system makes it easy to select questions, possible to expect average marks and number of questions made, and to prevent that questions may be made too easy or too hard. For a remote examination, as there are much possibilities of dishonesty such as examination by proxy so different types of problems are made, and problems of the rationality caused from that can be avoided.

Police Officers' Cognitions of Police Investigation Specialization (수사경과제에 대한 경찰공무원의 인식)

  • This study set out to analyze the perceptions of investigative police officers and division police officers regarding Police Investigation Specialization, which had been in effect for four years, identify the problems, and search for alternative policies. The results led to the following alternative policies; first, the communication among the members should be facilitated by trading the jobs between investigative policemen and division members in certain percentage regularly, integrating job education and special work, and developing diverse support programs for detective activities to provide them with opportunities to experience and understand investigation. The second suggestion concerns the investigation members' morale. There should be a range of measures to boost their moral such as allocating separate budget and personnel to support the investigation department and the treatment of major criminal and civil cases, giving each investigation team an office and investigation room to improve their working environment, readjusting the promotion ratio of Police Investigation Specialization to introduce a promotion system proper for each investigation's characteristics. The third suggestion is to secure job efficiency. It's required to reinforce the current short-term specialized education program to bring up practical and professional investigators, open the certification exam of professional investigators to all members so that every policeman can have their abilities recognized and approved as long as they have the demanded capabilities, and create a system of shedding off the members idle at work by reflecting low performance records when evaluating the members to decide who to dismiss from Police Investigation Specialization. And finally, it's important to divide duties rationally. The rationality of duties division can be guaranteed by setting the guidelines for direct handling for the team leader to help him devote himself to his duties, defining objective criteria of measuring investigation workload, and creating devoted systems and teams for simple and small accidents so that experienced investigators can deal with high-profile cases.
