허리안정화운동이 노인의 낙상예방에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Falls Prevention on Lumbar Stabilization Exercise in Elderly People)

  • Background : The aim of this study is to effect of lumbar stabilization exercise on double limb support, balance ability and risk of fall index in elderly people. Methods : A six-week lumbar stabilization program training for improvement of balance ability and prevention of fall down were applied by dividing into ten people of experimental group and ten people of control group for elderly aged below sixty-five more than eighty years who were capable of independent activity of daily living. for double limb support, balance ability and fall index assessment, the TETRAX were used. Results : The double limb support, balance ability and fall index in experimental group indicating changes in statistical significance(p<0.05), But changes in significance were not found of all parts in control group(p>0.05). Conclusion : The above results mean that the lumbar stabilization exercise was effective for promotion of elderly people's double limb support, balance ability and fall index and further study considered need to be more the study relative to effect of fall prevention exercise program.

지역사회 재가 노인의 낙상에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Prevalence and Associated Factors of Falls in the Elderly Community)

  • Objectives : To analyze factors associated with elderly falls in a community dwelling, a comparatively important, but somewhat neglected, health mailer. Methods : Data came from personal interview surveys using a questionnaire of 552 people aged 65 or older living in a community. Socioeconomic, and health related characteristics were investigated as independent variables and experiences of falling in the previous year as the dependent variable. Results : 118(21.4%) of the elderly subjects experienced a fall in the previous year. 24 subjects experienced more than two falls, accounting for 20.3% of the elderly fall victims studied. Factors affecting the falls were families living together, level of daily activity, heart disease, and aconuresis;, therefore an elderly person who lives alone, lives independently, has heart disease, or suffers urinary incontinence had a demonstrated increased chance of failing. Conclusion : Groups at risk for luting included elderly persons living alone, living independently, suffering heart disease, or experiencing urinary incontinence. When an elderly fall prevention program is developed and implemented, these results should be considered.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of falls prevention exercise program(center of gravity control training, multiple sensory training, strategic posture training, ambulation training, muscle strengthening training) to balance and muscular strength in the elderly females. Methods : A total of 30 elderly womens participated in this study. All subjects have participated in exercise program on three times a week for eight weeks. Before and after of exercise program, They have measured about Berg Balance Scale (BBS), Performance Oriented Mobility Assessment (POMA), Time Up & Go (TUG), Sit to stand, Fall Efficacy Scale (FES), Quality of Life (QOL). Results : The results of this study were as follows ; 1) There were statistically significant difference in the BBS, POMA, FES, QOL test on within-subject. 2) There were not significant difference in the TUG, Sit to stand test on within-subject. 3) The BBS was correlated with POMA and QOL. The POMA was also correlated with QOL. Conclusion : The result of this study shows that falls prevention exercise program was meaningful increasing of balance ability and quality of life on elderly women

태권도 프로그램이 노인의 체중심 동요와 보행에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Balance Ability and Walking in the Elderly by Taekwon-do Program)

  • 연구목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 태권도 프로그램이 노인의 균형능력에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보는 것이다. 연구방법 : 대상자는 본 연구에 대해 설명을 들은 후 자원한자로서 65세 이상의 노인이었다. 실험군은 태권도 프로그램 그룹으로서 17명이었다. 태권도 프로그램을 주3회씩 6주간 시행하였고 모든 대상자의 균형능력을 평가하기 위하여 BPM, GAITrite, Berg 균형척도를 실험전후로 평가하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 14.0으로 대응표본 t-test를 사용하여 유의수준 ${\alpha}$=.05에서 통계 처리 하였다. 연구결과 : 태권도 프로그램을 시행한 결과 프로그램 실행 전에 비해 오른쪽 활보폭, 왼쪽 보폭, 왼쪽 활보폭, 버그 균형척도에서 통계적으로 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 그리고 최대 동요속도, 동요거리, 오른쪽 기저 지지면, 오른쪽 양하지 지지기, 왼쪽 기저지지면, 왼쪽 양하지 지지기에서 통계적으로 유의한 감소가 있었다. 결론 : 태권도 프로그램을 시행한 결과 오른쪽 활보폭, 왼쪽 보폭, 왼쪽 활보폭, 버그 균형척도에서 유의한 증가와 최대 동요속도, 동요거리, 오른쪽 기저 지지면, 오른쪽 양하지 지지기, 왼쪽 기저지지면, 왼쪽 양하지 지지기에서 유의한 감소는 균형 제어에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 이러한 균형 제어 능력의 향상은 노인의 보행에 있어서의 낙상 예방에 효과적일 것으로 사료된다.

한국 노인의 만성질환과 낙상경험과의 관련성: 2015년 지역사회건강조사를 기반으로 (The Relationship between Status of Chronic Disease and Fall Experience in Korean Elderly: Based on 2015 Community Health Survey)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to understand the relevance of chronic disease conditions and fall experience among people aged 65 and older. and use them as basic data to reduce the risk of falling. Methods: The study selected 26,122 men and 37,777 women aged 65 and over as final subjects of the study, using raw data from the Community Health Survey in 2015. The statistical analysis used SAS 9.4 USA. Results: About 20% of those aged 65 and older experienced a fall, with one in five elderly people experiencing a fall, and the ratio of men to women was 3:7, women higher than men. As the age grew, the lower the level of education, the more senior citizens who lived alone occurred falls. In addition, the incidence of falls was higher when the number of chronic diseases was more than three. The incidence of falls was 1.1-1.5 times higher depending on chronic diseases. Conclusion: The development of education and exercise programs for preventing fall of senior citizens aged 65 and older is required and further study is needed.

탄력밴드를 이용한 저항운동프로그램이 여성노인의 낙상예방에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Elastic Band Resistance Exercise Program in the Falls Prevention of Elderly Women)

  • Purpose : This purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of elastic band resistance exercise program in the falls prevention of elderly women. Methods : The subjects of this study, 46 people elderly women who participated in the exercise program of Jeollanamdo Y elderly welfare center were chosen as subjects and use the elastic band resistance exercise program for 12 weeks. Results : There was a significant increase on the physical function and fall efficacy of all the subjects in the experimental group and the control one after the experiment. Furthermore, the experimental group showed more meaningful improvement than the control one. Conclusion : Falls Efficacy of the experimental group before the experiment, after the changes in difference was noted. More results from the 12 weeks of using the elastic band resistance exercise program to increase the efficacy of body functions (power of lower extremity, muscle endurance, flexibility, balance, and agility), and falls efficacy of elderly women is considered as an effective fall prevention exercise program.

고유수용성신경근촉진법이 여성노인의 낙상예방에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of PNF Exercise on Body Functions of Elderly Women)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF) exercise on body functions(gait, balance, lower extremity power) of elderly women. Methods : This study applied PNF exercise in a fall prevention program in addition to fall prevention seminars to an experimental group of 15 subjects and applied only fall prevention seminars to a control group of 15 subjects. The PNF exercise consisted of three sessions per week for 8 weeks and fall prevention seminars were composed of three times educations(0th, 4th, and 8th week). As a result of statistical analyses, following conclusions were obtained. Results : A 8-week PNF exercise significantly improved gait function and balance functions, lower extremity functions of elderly women. Conclusion : The PNF exercise in a fall prevention program was found to be effective to improve body functions(gait, balance, lower extremity power) of elderly women. In other words, the PNF exercise needs to be considered as an effective intervention for elderly women in order to strengthen their body functions and in fall prevention program.

  • 최근 딥러닝 기술의 발전으로 CCTV 카메라를 통해 획득한 영상 정보에서 객체의 이상행동을 분석하기 위한 컴퓨터 비전 기반 AI 기술들이 연구되었다. 위험 지역이나 보안 지역에는 범죄 예방 및 경계 감시를 위해 감시카메라가 설치되어 있는 경우가 다수 존재한다. 이러한 이유로 기업들에서는 감시카메라 환경에서 침입, 배회, 낙상, 폭행 같은 주요한 상황을 판단하기 위한 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 객체 검출 및 추적 방법을 사용한 실시간 이상 행위 분석 알고리즘을 제안한다.

인공관절치환 수술 후 발생하는 섬망에 따른 융복합적 영향 (The Convergent Influence of the Incidence of Delirium in Patients after Arthroplasty)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 인공관절치환수술을 받은 환자의 섬망의 발생예방과 조기중재를 탐색하기 위함이다. 전자의무기록자료중 60세 이상 환자 821명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였다. 자료분석 방법은 SPSS 20.0을 이용하여 대상자 서술통계와 섬망발생율의 차이는 $x^2$-test와 t-test를 시행하고, 다중 로지스틱 회귀분석(multiple logstic regression)으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 인공관절치환수술 환자에게 섬망 발생률은 13.5%였고, 섬망 발생의 영향요인에서는 연령, 낙상력, 신체활동, 정서상태, 수술전 체질량지수가 주된 요인으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 섬망의 예방, 조기발견을 위해 조기중재가 필요한 방안 모색을 제언한다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a new fall-prevention exercise intervention for the community-dwelling elderly and to examine the effects of program. Methods: A total of 7 older adults were participated in a 10-week fall-prevention exercise intervention (1 day per a week in community centers, 2 days per a week in a home). The exercise program consisted of warming-up, extension exercises, muscle strength exercises, balance exercises, and finishing exercise. Data were collected before the exercise and after 10 weeks of exercise. In this study, muscle strength of lower limbs was measured by 10 times of standing up and sitting on a chair. Static balance was measured by one-leg standing, and dynamic balance was measured by 6 meter walking. Results: After a 10-week exercise program, muscle strength of lower limbs (t=4.18, p<.05), statical balance were significantly improved (left leg, t=-3.11, p<.05; right leg, t=-4.56, p<.05). Seven of 11 items measuring fear of falls were significantly decreased (p<.05), and dynamic balance tended to be improved (p=.117). Conclusion: This result suggests that evidence-based, fall-prevention exercise program can improve muscle strength, static and dynamic balance, and fear of falling in the community living elderly.
