This study started from an understanding that a true welfare society requires voluntary 'sharing' of citizens in addition to the state's legal and institutional security and that to make the culture of sharing find a firm ground in our society, 'Philanthropic Education' is needed from the childhood. This study examined three issues; first suggested the need of philanthropic education and learning methods. secondly, to find out the present situations of sharing in Korea, the study looked into sharing cultures and philanthropic education in other countries. thirdly, the study explored ways of philanthropic education for elementary school students of Korea in literature based program methods. The structure of the program was designed as structured experimental group program. And the content of this program is composed of concepts, objects, process, institutions regarding philanthropy, and finally practical behavior of it. This study implies that discussions in taking root and revitalizing the philanthropic education to encourage prosocial behaviors of children by more efforts of family, community and school.

본 연구는 광주고려인마을 나눔방송의 나눔뉴스(2010년부터 2018년까지) 기사제목에 나타난 주요 핵심어와 그들간의 관계성을 탐색하기 위해 텍스트 마이닝(text mining) 방법론을 활용하여 분석하였다. 고려인마을 지원조례 제정(2013년) 후 고려인마을지원종합지원센터 개소(2015년)하면서 이주초기와는 다르게 다양한 나눔방송 뉴스가 생산되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 나눔방송의 나눔뉴스 분석을 1기(2010년부터 2014년), 2기(2015년부터 2018년까지)로 구분하여 그 주요 핵심어의 변화를 탐색하고자 한다.

한솔제지는 지난 8월 21일 이상훈 사장을 비롯한 임직원과 수상자 18명이 참석한 가운데 을지로 본사 23층 Hi-Q홀에서 환경 나눔 캠페인 공모전 시상식을 가졌다. 환경 나눔 공모전은 친환경 재생용지 사용으로 지구도 살리고 소외된 이웃에 나눔을 실천하는 한솔제지 '1% 나눔운동'을 표현하는 광고 및 엠블럼을 선정키 위해 진행됐다. 한솔제지 '1% 나눔운동'은 친환경 재생용지 판매수익금의 1%를 매월 정기적으로 후원하는 프로그램이다.

The purpose of this research is to discover the value of experiencing the humanistic spirit of sharing, consideration, sympathy, and communication through the mentoring program between different generations through the . The provides collective mentoring to menti to involuntarily participating mentees, prioritizing traits such as truthfulness, flexibility, and consideration for others. The sharing within the is the sharing of human traits, and displays the characteristics of volunteering. For better mutual connection and interdependence between the mentor and mentee, concentration, sympathy, understanding, and assurance is also needed. Also, sympathy is key trait that both mentors and mentees should possess, along with communication, the lacking of which causes the contradictions within our society and amplification of generational conflicts. Thus, the show the potential to become a unique mentoring program that uses culture and art to experience the humanistic spirit. Also, this program is valuable in that it provides the opportunity for the matured generation to contribute to the local community.

This study aims to examine the influence of the philanthropic experience on the giving intention. There are many precedent studies arguing this influence but the empirical results are mixed or sometimes contradictory. We stipulate that this could be resolved by introducing the mediating variables such as trust and positive attitudes towards NGOs. Results of the empirical analysis based on the 189 person living in Seoul area show that philanthropic experience directly influence the giving intention, and it exert an influence on the giving intention directly through the trust and positive attitudes towards NGOs. And it is shown that the indirect effect produced by the mediating variables and process in less than the direct effect. Results support precedent studies emphasizing the important role of the philanthropic experience in the giving intention, and shed light on the process through which philanthropic experience determines the giving intention. A practical implication might be that we have to do a great effort to experience philanthropic activities in one's early age, and a theoretical implication be that researchers need to pay attention to find another mediating variables having explanatory power.

This study is targeted to understand the giving of time and money among citizens in Seoul. It explores predictors of different combinations of giving behaviors: only volunteering, only donating, doing both, and neither. In exploring predictors, it also considers the effects of intensity in giving with differential measurement of general participation and regular participation. For the analysis, this study utilizes Seoul Welfare Panel Survey Data in 2008 and 2010 and employes a multi-nominal logistic regression model with selection of citizens' demographic factors, pro-social attitude factors, and psycho-social factors on these four type of giving behaviors. The findings show that previous giving experiences(+) and religious activities(+) have statistically significant effects on both selective and combined giving behavior. Gender(woman), income(+), education(+) have statistically significant effects on giving behaviors(only donating and doing both) related with donation. In the case of employment state, unemployment is significantly related to volunteering while employment is significantly related to donating. Finally, happiness(+) has significantly positive effect on intensive giving such as regular giving rather than general giving. This analysis has made a start in a new area of inquiry attempting to explain different giving behaviors with broadening and promoting understanding on giving behaviors. Moreover, it raises several implications for future research and strategic practice for resource mobilization of NPOs.
