This paper introduces and illustrates the results of a new method fer offsetting triangular mesh by moving all vertices along the multiple normal vectors of a vertex. The multiple normal vectors of a vertex are set the same as the normal vectors of the faces surrounding the vertex, while the two vectors with the smallest difference are joined repeatedly until the difference is smaller than allowance. Offsetting with the multiple normal vectors of a vertex does not create a gap or overlap at the smooth edges, thereby making the mesh size uniform and the computation time short. In addition, this offsetting method is accurate at the sharp edges because the vertices are moved to the normal directions of faces and joined by the blend surface. The method is also useful for rapid prototyping and tool path generation if the triangular mesh is tessellated part of the solid models with curved surfaces and sharp edges. The suggested method and previous methods are implemented on a PC using C++ and illustrated using an OpenGL library.

본 연구는 곡선좌표계에서 유한차분기법(finite difference method)을 이용하여 2차원 흐름이 모의가능한 수치모형을 개발하는 것이다. 기존의 연구는 대부분 직교좌표계(cartesian coordinate system)에서의 격자망을 대상으로 개발되고 적용되었기 때문에 불규칙한 흐름의 경계 및 형상을 올바로 표현하기 어려웠다. 유한요소법이나 유한체적법같은 수치모의기법들이 개발되어 비구조격자체계를 구성하고 자연현상에 가까운 경계 표현할 수 있도록 개발되었다. 하지만 위의 기법들은 질량과 운동량과 같은 물리량을 보존하기 위해서 매우 조밀한 격자체계를 가져야만 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기존의 문제점들을 해결하기 위하여 곡선좌표계(curvilinear coordinate system)를 이용하여 지배방정식을 표현하고 2차원 흐름을 모의할 수 있는 모형을 구축한다. 수치모형은 leap-frog기법과 1차 정확도의 풍상차분기법(upwind scheme)을 사용하여 구성하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 모형을 사각수조 및 만곡수로흐름에 적용하여 모의결과를 해석해 및 실험관측값과 비교하였다. 이로부터 본 수치모형이 해석해 및 실측치와 잘 일치하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

회장암에 함유된 흑운모의 풍화작용을 고령토에 함유된 캐올리나이트의 기원과 관련하여 연구하였다. 흑운모는 사장석이나 각섬석 등 다른 모암광물에 비하여 빠른속도로 풍화되어 고령토화 초기에 흑운모/버미큘라이트 혼합층광물, 버미큘라이트로 변질된다. 버미큘라이트는 계속하여 캐올리나이트로 변질되어 최종적으로 원 흑운모 입자에 비하여 크게 팽창된 캐올리나이트의 가상을 고령토 내에 형성한다. 변질 중인 흑운모에서 방출된 K와 Ti는 각각 일라이트와 아나타제로 침전되며 일라이트는 다시 캐올리나이트로 변질된다. 흑운모가 캐올리나이트의 유일한 모물질이라고 할 수 없으나 풍화과정에서 상당산 양의 캐올리나이트의 생성을 유도하여 고령토내 캐올리나이트 함량 증가에 크게 기여하는 것으로 보인다.

Attempts have been applied to reduce the vibration of slab. There are several method in the vibration control of slab from a traditional method such as increment of mass or stiffness of slab to a innovative method augmenting damping of slab. In this study, a attempt has been made to increase the effective damping in slab using the Multi Tuned Mass Damper. we evaluate the reduction effect of the slab selected through numerical simulation and optimization process by applying it to a FEM model. The numerical simulation shows that the effective damping is increased as the number of bean is increased and the vibration control effect is very high.

본 논문에서는 문서의 자동 분류를 위한 용어 빈도 가중치 계산 방법으로 Box-Cox변환기법을 응용한 정규화 용어빈도 가중치를 정의하고, 이를 문서 분류에 적응하였다. 여기서 Box-Cox 변환기법이란 자료를 정규분포화 할 때 적용하는 통계적인 변환방법으로서, 본 논문에서는 이를 응용하여 새로운 용어빈도가중치 계산법을 제안한다. 문서에서 등장한 용어 빈도는 너무 많거나 적게 등장할 경우, 중요도가 떨어지게 되는데, 이는 용어의 중요도가 빈도에 따른 정규분포로 모델링 될 수 있다는 것을 의미한다. 또한 정규화 가중치 계산방법은 기존의 용어빈도 가중치 공식과 비교할 때, 용어마다 계산방법이 달라져, 로그나 루트와 같은 고정된 가중치 방법보다는 좀더 일반적인 방법이라 할 수 있다. 신문기사 8000건을 대상으로 4개의 그룹으로 나누어 실험 한 결과, 정규화 용어빈도가중치 계산방법이 모두 우위의 분류 정확도롤 가져, 본 논문에서 제안한 방법이 타당함을 알 수 있다.

현대의 산업은 대규모 공정제어 시스템을 통한 작업자와 작업자 인터페이스의 상호 유기적인 관계를 통하여 운영되고 있다. 이러한 유기적인 관계가 고신뢰도 체계를 운영하고 있는 석유화학, 군사, 통신 등의 안전성 문제에 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 실제 대부분의 안전사고가 시스템 자체에 문제보다는 시스템을 운영하는 인간-기계 연계 체제(Human-Machine Interface; HMI)에서 비롯된 것이다. TMI, 체르노빌, JCO 등의 사고를 통하여 원자력발전소(이하, 원전)에서는 작업자 인터페이스의 품질 문제가 강조되고 있다. 이러한 노력의 일환으로 우리나라도 원전에 대한 10년 주기의 주기적안전성평가(Periodic Safety Review: PSR)에서 인적요소 평가를 포함하고 있다.(중략)

The purpose of this study Is to verify relationship between leadership styles ( consideration leadership and Initiating structure leadership) and Job satisfaction In university libraries. The conclusions in this study are summarized as follows： 1. Correlations between leadership styles and job satisfaction are positive. Consideration leadership is higher correlation than initiating structure leadership. 2. Leadership styles have affected on Job satis-faction (promotion, task, salary, superior, fellow) differently. Consideration leadership is higher influenced than initiating structure leadership except satisfaction of task. 3. It is no difference that leadership styles have affected on job satisfaction by a characteristic(sex, school career, librarian's license) of person. As consideration leadership is higher correlation and influence than initiating structure leadership, leader should have done consideration leadership and then library's staffs can get job satisfaction in order to achieve job satisfaction, leader had better show consideration leadership regardless of sex. school career and librarian's license. leadership styles have influenced Job satisfaction differently. It shows indirectly that library's staffs are not discriminated by sex, school career and librarian's license.

Recently, LED(Light Emitting Diode) TV has attracted greate attention due to its super-slim form factore as well as low power consumption. LED TV is actually an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) TV in which edge-lit LED backlight is adopted. In the presente study, we report on the comparison of optical characteristics 55-inch edge-lit LED backlight and CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lam)backlight. The angular distribution of the luminance and the on-axis luminance gain on each optical component were investigated and compared. The effect of the backlight structure on the performance of the optical films was studied and discussed.
