블록체인과 합의 알고리즘 (Blockchain and Consensus Algorithm)

  • A Blockchain is a type of distributed ledger system that consists of a large number of nodes. A block is a container in which transactions are included, and the transactions can be recorded in chronological order by chaining blocks. To work properly, it is essential that the nodes in the Blockchain system have the same image of the chained-blocks. Blockchain systems use various types of consensus algorithms to achieve the same states among the nodes, and the fundamental elements in these algorithms are proof of work and the main chain selection policy, particularly in permissionless Blockchain systems. However, consensus algorithms for permissioned Blockchain systems can be completely different from those of permissionless blockchain systems. In this paper, we overview the basic working mechanism of consensus algorithms, and briefly introduce a few that are currently being applied.

  • 대규모 개발사업을 시행함에 있어 우리는 종종 무의식적으로 토양층을 교란시키게 된다. 식물 성장에 있어 토양은 영양분을 공급하는 중요한 역할을 하고 특히 토양 중 표토층은 식물 생장에 필요한 많은 영양성분을 갖고 있으므로 토양층의 파괴는 식재된 수목의 하자와 직접 연결된다. 살아있는 식물을 다루는 조경공사에서는 공사 후 높은 하자율을 걱정하기에 앞서 수목의 원활한 활착을 위해 토양을 건강하게 유지하도록 노력해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 수목과 토양의 생리학적 관계 및 토양의 기본적인 성질과 표토의 중요성, 표토의 특성을 유지하는 방안 등에 대해 고찰하고 사례연구로 한국토지공사에서 시행한 용인 동백지구의 표토 활용사례를 검토하여 문제점을 파악하고 보다 효과적인 표토층 보존을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 수목의 성장률, 건강도, 수형 등은 직접적으로 토양의 질과 연결되고 양질의 토양은 수목의 원활한 생장을 가져와 결국 수준 높은 경관을 형성할 수 있게 된다. 본 연구를 통해 수목과 토양의 생리학적 관계를 파악하고 수목의 성장에 적정한 환경을 제공함으로써 불량한 토양으로 인한 수목의 하자율을 사전에 방지하고 수목의 건강성을 유지하는 방안 설정에 도움이 되고자 한다.

랫트에 있어서 DWH-01(Ranitidine : Bismuth subcitrate : Sucralfate)의 급성독성에 관한 연구 (Acute Toxicity of DWH-01 (Ranitidine : Bismuth subcitrate : Sucralfate) in Rats)

  • Acute toxicities of DWH-01 (Ranitidine : Bismuth : Sucralfate= 1.5: 2 : 6) were investigated in Sprague-Dawley rats. Seven days after oral administration of DWH-01 with different doses (10 g/kg, 5 g/kg, 2.5 g/kg, 1.25 g/kg, 0.625 g/kg), we examined numbers of deaths, general signs, weight measurement and histopathological examination for both sexes of rats. Summaried results are: 1) No deaths were occurred, 2) There were no pathological and clinical differences compared with control group, 3) No significant changes of body weights were observed, and 4) In histopathological examinations of organs and tissues, there was some hemorrhage in a lung tissue of low dose group for male and female respectively, but it was thought to be caused by environmental factor. The results suggest that toxicity of DWH-01 is low and its $LD_{50}$ is over 10 g/kg in Sprague-Dawley rats.

치과의사의 설문을 통해 본 치과의료사고 및 분쟁 (Dental accidents and malpractice disputes survey)

  • The dental accidents and disputes among Korean dentists have been on the increase with time. The main purpose of this study is to figure out the actual status of the dental accidents and malpractice disputes based on a questionnaire survey. The findings showed that 64.8% of respondents had been experienced the dental accidents, and 52.9% of respondents had been locked into the disputes. Within 5 years from the start of dental practice, the nearly half of the dentists responded the experience of the dental accidents and disputes. The amount of compensation for dental accidents and disputes wereindentalimplant, prosthodontics, and oral surgery treatments in descending order. The highest incident type was wrong process/treatment/procedure problem in clinical process/procedure.

'일상성연구'의 가정학적 함의 (Everyday Life Study's Implication for Home Economics)

  • This study emphasizes the everyday life study based on the proper study method. From the sociological literatures, everyday life's concept, it's various characteristics, two different perspectives and life-history approach are introduced. One Home Economics Paradigm Study published in 1996 is summarized to point out the importance of paradigm shift from quantitative method based on positivism to qualitative study for human everyday life study. I examined our everyday life studies as a reader and a member of screening committee and introduced four articles using different qualitative study methods.

  • The purpose of this study was to develop a scale for analyzing family life structure. For this purpose, family life was divided into 8 areas as to be grasped on the whole at first. Next the items to measure both the subjective and objective sides of each area are selected. At last, to test the reliability and validity of the scale we followed a process of verification. Diagnosing each family and making its problems and weaknesses clear with this scale will offer a base for developing the service which meets that familys needs.

국내 대학병원 신생아중환자실 작업치료의 현황 (Current Status of Occupational Therapy in Korean University Hospital NICUs)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to provide some basic information about current status of occupational therapy in Korean University Hospital NICUs. Method : This study was conducted by mail and by analyzing 61 survey questionnaires sent out pediatric occupational therapist in 39 university hospitals. Result : 23 people of the current pediatric occupational therapists worked in NICU under many constraints. Some reasons for not providing occupational therapy services in the NICU were lack of pediatric occupational therapists(55.3%), funding difficulties(42.1%) and problem in the hospital system(42.1%). Conclusion : The results of this study can be used as a basis to increase the provision of occupational therapy in the NICU. Further research is needed to improve the role of occupational therapy in the NICU.

  • General pharmacological properties of ι-muscone, the major component of musk, were investigatedin mice, rats and guinea pig. The administration of ι-muscone (1, 10, 100 mg/kg, p.o.) in mice had no effects in general behaviors, and no influences on analgesic actions and normal body temperature. Muscle relaxant action, intestinal propulsion and gastric secretion were not observed even at the high dose of 100 mg/kg. ι-Muscone (1, 10, 100 mg/kg, p.o.) given to conscious rats showed no effect on mean blood pressure and heart rate. It showed no direct effect at 2.4$\times$10.3 mg/ml and 2.4$\times$10-2 mg/ml in isolated uterus of rats and ileum of guinea pig, and also had no inhibition of contraction induced by oxytocin and histamine.

  • Landfarming and a microbial agent, Bioil-D, were used to treat diesel-contaminated soil. The microbial agent was applied to the contaminated soil in a concentration of 5$\times$10$^2$ cfu/soil(g) and the total amount of microbial agent, 210$\ell$, was sprinkled on the soil four times for 24 days during 50 day-remediation period. The remediation goal, lower than 800mg/kg of TPH, was achieved from 5, 707 mg/kg of TPH within 50 days. The total number and activity of indigenous microorganisms were increased by 100 times after the microbial agent, Bioil-D, was applied to the contaminated soil.
