  • This paper presents a analysis method for power system stability using a Modified Genetic-based Power System Stabilized(MGPSS). The proposed MGPSS parameters are optimized using Modified Genetic Algorithm(MGA) in order to maintain optimal operation of generator under the various operating conditions. To improve the convergence characteristics, real variable string is adopted. The results tested on a single machine infinite bus system verify that the proposed controller has better dynamic performance than conventional controller.

  • This paper presents a method for optimal operation to improve reliability of MicroGrid systems considering load types and interruption cost. The objective functions such as power losses cost, operation cost of dispersed generations, power purchasing cost, and interruption cost are minimized for reliability improvement and efficient operation. The several indices for reliability evaluation are improved by renewable energy sources installation.

  • This paper presents a scheme to solve the congestion problem with phase-shifting transformer(PST) and power generation using linear programming method. A good design of PST and power generation control can improve total transfer capability(TTC) in interconnected systems. This paper deals with an application of optimization technique for TTC calculation. linear programming method is used to maximize power flow of tie line subject to security constraints such as voltage magnitude and real power flow. The proposed method is applied to 10 machines 39 buses model systems to show its effectiveness.

  • This paper presents an efficient method to calculate voltage collapse point and to avoid voltage instability. To evaluate voltage stability in power systems, it is necessary to get critical loading points. For this purpose, this paper uses linear programming to calculate efficiently voltage collapse point. Also, if index value becomes larger than given threshold value, voltage stability is improved by compensation of reactive power at selected bus. This algorithm is verified by simulation on the IEEE 14-bus sample system.

가스감지소자의 감지특성 I

  • SnO$_{2}$를 모체로 한 가스 감지소자의 가스 감지특성을 여러 감지특성을 여러 가스에 대하여 조사하였다. 2ton/$cm^{2}$의 압력에서 성형한 pellet형 소자를 온도 500-800.deg.C 범위에서 1-5시간 동안 소성시켰다. 이때 소자의 Pd함량은 0.0wt%까지 변화되었다. 측정온도에 대항 감도의 의존성 및 가스에 대한 응압시간등도 조사하였다. 여러 감도변수에 따른 소성온도의 영향을 SnO$_{2}$ 분말의 소결성으로 설명하였다.
