  • We investigate the current situation and development trend of domestic smart city and emergency vehicle priority signal control system analyzing the existing effectiveness of 1) emergency vehicle priority signal control system and 2) control emergency vehicle priority signal, based on domestic and foreign prior research for signal control system security. The effectiveness of time reduction was analyzed through actual application and test operation to emergency vehicles after establishing the system. In addition, for security management and stable service of real-time signal system control we propose improvement for the technical control items of the ISMS-P certification system to secure golden time to protect citizens' precious lives and property in case of emergency by classifying and mapping the existing ISMS-P certification system and the Korea Internet & Security Agency's cyber security guide according to the items of security threats.

  • 본 논문에서 제안안하고 있는 긴급 SOS 시스템은 응급상황에 처한 사람의 위치를 빠르고 정확하게 추적하여 구조하는 위치기반 서비스이다. 제안된 시스템에서 일반상황에서는 근거리, 저전력 통신방식인 Zigbee Network를 사용하지만 응급상황 발생시 802.15.4의 Network를 이용하여 주변 핸드폰에 응급신호를 전송한다. 또한 전송된 응급 신호를 응급신호 추적기에서 수신하여 능동형 위치추적 알고리듬을 기반으로 위치를 추적한다. 본 논문은 제안된 긴급 SOS 시스템에서 배터리 소모를 줄이기 위한 프로토콜, 일반상황과 응급상황에 적합한 네트워크 구조를 제안하고자 한다.

  • Recently, the intelligent transportation system (ITS) that provides driver convenience and reduces the number of road casualties is in the spotlight. ITS must quickly deal with the emergency situation and provide information which drivers need. In ITS, a different channel will be assigned for each service to provide the service efficiently. However, if the channel is used at an emergency situation, the service cannot be provided immediately. For overcome this problem, we introduce the cognitive radio technology into ITS and propose a new spectrum sensing method in this paper.

  • In this paper, we propose the EPTS(Emergency vehicle Priority Transit system) for a rapid drive or emergency vehicles at the crossroads. The EPTS is one part of real-time traffic management system in the advanced traffic management system. The EPTS needs the connection or a traffic control system and a DSRC system. It can be applied to the real traffic situation considered with other traffic elements. As the result it is possible for the EPTS to nonstop drive because it induces an efficient drive of emergency vehicles. It is also relatively safe at the crossroad, it is expected that the EPTS is suitable for a telematics service which values efficiency above everything else.

  • 최근 엣지 컴퓨팅을 활용한 자율주행차 서비스 개발 연구가 진행 중이다. 특히, 최근 개발 중인 차량 엣지 컴퓨팅 기술은 도로 상황 및 교통 정보를 실시간으로 수집하여 빠른 처리를 통해 안정된 차량 및 교통 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 기술로 평가받고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 자율주행차 서비스를 위해 차량 엣지 컴퓨팅 간, 엣지-클라우드간 협업 모델을 제안하고 차량 안전 메시지와 같은 긴급 메시지의 빠른 전달을 위한 초지연 메지시 전달 기법을 제안한다.

  • The 119 emergency rescue-aid service operated by Korean government is a very valuable in a society and its importance is growing in Korea as an aging society. Especially, the emergency vehicle's arrival time to accidents place is an important variable which affects initial emergency measure for patients and it depends on the road network attributes, such as emergency service station's location, accessibility to accidents place and so on. This study aims to analysis the emergency vehicles' arrival delay and the dispatch station in the viewpoint of efficiency utilizing the real rescue-aid activity data. We analyzed the dispatch distribution of the emergency rescue-aid service at first. And we analyzed high accident rate locations not involved in the fixed radius of rescue-aid service stations and display GIS map showing regions have been delayed. The input data of the road network speed is based on the KTDB (Korea Transportation Database) and historical rescue-aid data is from Gyeongsangbuk-do's fire service headquarters.

  • This paper presents cross-layer based packet scheduling and routing algorithm to effectively transmit delay-sensitive multimedia data over mobile ad hoc network. At first, packet urgency, node urgency, and route urgency are defined based on the end-to-end delay requirement of each packet and the number of hops over a route. Based on the urgency metric, the proposed transmission scheme is that packet scheduling algorithm at the MAC layer and routing algorithm at the network layer are tightly-coupled to improve the transmission performance for delay-sensitive multimedia. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the performance of proposed transmission scheme.

  • When designing a routing protocol in a wireless sensor network, power efficiency and power balance must be considered above all for the life of the network. However, in application services such as environmental monitoring, the urgency and speed of data are more importantly required. In this paper, a routing protocol is proposed to satisfy different requirements for transmission of normal data and emergency data. In the case of general data, it is designed to minimize the power imbalance so that the network life can be extended. In the case of emergency data, the delay is minimized by controlling the power according to the power situation of the node.
