This paper attempts to find out the economic roots of the increasing tendency not to choose the science and engineering (S&E) fields in the colleges. The analysis shows that the relative economic position of the S&E graduates measured in terms of employment quality is not significantly different from that of the non-S&E graduates. But the S&E graduates earn relatively low wage and self-employment income. Furthermore, the relative income of the top 5% bracket of the S&E graduates has been declining in the recent five years. The paper concludes that low relative income of the average S&E graduates as well as the increasingly lower relative income of the most able S&E personnel, coupled with the increasing compensating differential required for the S&E jobs, is the main reason for the 'avoidance' phenomenon of the S&E fields.

Effect of water extract of red ginseng (Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) from Nagano prefecture on (1) forced exercise in mice using rope climbing test, (2) extinction of memory in hanging stressed mice and rectal temperature during the exposure to hanging stress, (3) sex and learning behavior of chronic hanging stressed mice, (4) sex cycle in the adult female mice using chronic hanging stress, and (5) motor coordination and one trial passive avoidance response in $40\%$ alcohol administered mice using rotar-rod and step-through tests, were studied. Drugs tested were given orally. (1) When it was given before the forced exercise, it potentiated the performance of the forced exercise. When it was given just after the forced exercise once a day for 2 weeks, it protected the mice against the reduction of the performance on the forced exercise. (2) When it was given just after the stress once a day for 4 days, it delayed the extinction of passive avoidance response in both step through and stepdown tests, and protected the stressed mice against the decrease in rectal temperature slightly. (3) It protected the stressed mice against the decrease of sex behaviour and the increase in the failure of performance of passive avoidance response, and delayed the extinction of passive avoidanc

Parties to national or international disputes use arbitration because they think it is faster than litigation or affords privacy. But it is very important for the parties that the decision of arbitrators is made impartially and independently. For the parties to accept the outcome of an arbitration, it is essential that the final outcome be the result of an impartial process, especially because arbitration is a form of adjudication, albeit a private one. The success of arbitration resides in the conduct of arbitrators. The more independent and impartial arbitrators are, the more trustworthy arbitration will be. Just as court procedures allow for the recusal of judges under certain circumstances, the arbitral process provides means to remove arbitrators from a tribunal if arbitrator can no longer be considered impartial or independent. This is blown as the disqualification or challenge of arbitrators. An arbitrator can also be challenged when he or she does not fulfill the contactually agreed and stipulated qualifications required by the arbitral agreement. An arbitrator's inability to act impartially could give rise to a challenge to the arbitrator, and even to the award. However, deciding whether an interest or relationship could give rise to an apprehension of bias is a difficult issue for every arbitrator. The standard of arbitrator's impartiality and independence is not commensurable to that of judge, because the parties are permitted considerable autonomy in selecting arbitrators. Particularly it may be expected for the party-appointed arbitrator to act as the advocate of the party in the deliberations of the tribunal. Doubts that could give rise to a challenge to the arbitrator should be justifiable. That is the case if a reasonable, informed third party would conclude that the arbitrator's decision making might be influenced by factors other than evidence presented by the parties. Consequently, for example, the mere fact that an arbitrator was to work in the same firm as one of the parties' counsel, this could not automatically be considered as grounds for challenge for lack of impartiality.

PSM is widely used pricing tool in field by the reason of data collection convenience and analytical intuitiveness. However, In high involvement environment, strategic respondent bias influence in reducing the price. By using 3 empirical cases of LH apartment for sale, We found that latent consumers' recognition of the range of acceptable and the range of optimal price are lower than real estate agent representative respondents'. This phenomenon is considered loss aversion effect of prospect theory to reduce loss by reducing price, and more influenced in high involvement situation than latent consumer respondents'. Also we found PSM result using real estate representative data is more useful in real market than latent consumers data distorted by loss aversion effects. The meaning of this study is finding some limitation in PSM using consumer data generally used. In further study, development of PSM measurement tool to minimize the effect of strategic bias are need to be studied. Also some new approaches in reinterpretation of the range of acceptable price and the range of optimal price are need to be followed.

변화의 속도가 빠르고 불확실성이 높은 경영 환경 하에서, 기업가정신이 발휘되지 않는 기업은 혁신 마인드가 소멸하게 되고 결국 늙어 사라질 위기에 처할 가능성이 높다. 끊임없이 새로운 기회를 찾아 신 성장 엔진을 발굴하고, 사업 방식이나 업의 개념을 근본적으로 다시 생각하는 기업가정신의 중요성은 새삼 강조할 필요가 없을 것이다. 그렇다면, 과연 우리 기업들의 현 주소는 어떠한가? 안타깝게도 최근에 기업가 정신의 쇠퇴를 우려하는 목소리가 부적 늘고 있다. 기업들의 위험 기피 성향이 점점 확산되고 있어 심지어 ‘무기력 증후군’ 에 빠질 위험이 있다고 경고하는 이들도 있다. 원화 절상, 유가 급등, 내수 침체 등 제반 경제 여건이 어려워지면서 단기 실적만을 중시하는 경영 형태, 위험을 기피하려는 보수적 경영 분위기가 확산되는 조짐이 일고 있는 것이다. 기업가의 책무를 '창조적 파괴' 라고 이야기했던 슘페터는 어려운 시기일수록 이를 극복할 수 있는 가장 현실적인 방법은 기업가정신의 발현이라고 강조하였다. 오늘날의 경영 여건을 볼 때 기업가정신의 발목을 잡는 요소들이 많은 것도 사실이지만, 지금이야말로 그런 외부 여건 탓만을 하기 보다는 기업가 본연의 의무인 도전과 혁신에 매진해야 할 때인 것 같다. 이에 기업가정신의 발현을 가로막는 잘못된 통념들에서 벗어나 기업가정신이 충만한 리더로 거듭나는 사고의 일대 전환을 모색해 본다.

빨래 예측 건조 실패 혹은 건망증으로 인해 빨래를 다시 감수해야 하는 피해자들이 속출하고 있다. 또한, 이러한 문제점으로 인한 피해 뿐 아니라 옥시 사건 이후 특정 화학 물질에 대한 사람들의 기피성은 높아져가고 있는 반면에 그 화학물질을 측정할 방법은 없는 것이 현실이다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 IoT 시스템을 이용한 모듈을 설치하여, 제시한 문제점에 대한 대안을 제시한다.

스위치 박스는 건축물의 전선관용으로 사용되는 금속제 박스이다. 이 박스를 제조할 때는 제 1차 프레스에서 성형을 하고, 제 2차～5차 프레스로 박스의 4측면 가공을 하게 되므로 프레스 4대, 금형 4벌, 작업자 4명을 필요로 한다. 이 때문에 기계 사용료와 금형비, 인건비 둥 제조원가의 상승 요인이 되고 있으며 특히 프레스의 굉음과 진동 및 안전사고의 위험성 등으로 작업자들이 직무를 기피하고 있다. 이러한 현상을 해소하기 위하여 금형 4벌에 의한 가공을 1벌의 금형에 통합시킨 캠금형 개발과 자동이송장치를 개발하였다. 그 결과, 프레스 1대와 금형 1벌로 무인화 작업을 할 수 있게 되어 직무기피요인을 해소하게 되고 제조원가 절감효과를 얻게 되었다

분양가 상한제에 전국적으로 13만 가구에 달하는 미분양 사태. 최근에는 공공 주택 용지 미분양 현상도 뚜렷하게 나타나고 있다. 건설 업계 전반에 주택을 지어도 사업성이 없다는 인식이 확산되면서 사업을 축소하거나 기피하는 업체들이 늘고 있어, 앞으로 주택 공급 부족 사태가 우려된다.

어느 나라이든 그 나라의 전통과 습관에 얽매여 식생활에 있어 금기로 하는 것이 있다. 물론 이러한 전통과 습관이 전부가 불합리한 것은 아니지만 저 개발 국가에서 가장 중요한 단백원인 축산물을 기피하는 경우가 있다. 적어도 인도를 봐도 종교적인 taboo 때문에 소를 우상시하여 식용화 하지 않고 있다. 이것은 비단 일국에 국한된 것만은 아니다. 여기 소개하는 동남아시아 및 아프리카의 일부지방에서 달걀이나 닭고기를 taboo시하는 것도 하나의 전통에 얽매인 현상이라 하겠다. 이러한 불합리한 점은 적극 계몽하여 동물성 단백질의 효용을 높여야 하겠다.
