Formulation of a reference coordinate system of three-dimensional head & neck images: Part II. Reproducibility of the horizontal reference plane and midsagittal plane (3차원 두부영상의 기준좌표계 설정을 위한 연구: II부 수평기준면과 정중시상면의 재현성)

  • This study was performed to investigate the reproducibility of the horizontal and midsagittal planes, and to suggest a stable coordinate system for three-dimensional (3D) cephalometric analysis. Eighteen CT scans were taken and the coordinate system was established using 7 reference points marked by a volume model, with no more than 4 points on the same plane. The 3D landmarks were selected on V works (Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea), then exported to V surgery (Cybermed Inc., Seoul, Korea) to calculate the coordinate values. All the landmarks were taken twice with a lapse of 2 weeks. The horizontal and midsagittal planes were constructed and its reproducibility was evaluated. There was no significant difference in the reproducibility of the horizontal reference planes, But, FH planes were more reproducible than other horizontal planes. FH planes showed no difference between the planes constructed with 3 out of 4 points. The angle of intersection made by 2 FH planes, composed of both Po and one Or showed less than $1^{\circ}$ difference. This was identical when 2 FH planes were composed of both Or and one Po. But, the latter cases showed a significantly smaller error. The reproducibility of the midsagittal plane was reliable with an error range of 0.61 to $1.93^{\circ}$ except for 5 establishments (FMS-Nc, Na-Rh, Na-ANS, Rh-ANS, and FR-PNS). The 3D coordinate system may be constructed with 3 planes; the horizontal plane constructed by both Po and right Or; the midsagittal plane perpendicular to the horizontal plane, including the midpoint of the Foramen Spinosum and Nc; and the coronal plane perpendicular to the horizontal and midsagittal planes, including point clinoidale, or sella, or PNS.

  • A New Single Phase Active Power Filter Controller is proposed using Rotating Synchronous Frame d-q transformation. Instantaneous Active Power is calculated using d-q transformation. Average Value of Instantaneous Active Power is obtained using Low Pass Filter. Because power factor is corrected, source current is in phase with source voltage. Amplitude of source current is calculated using single phase power formula. Reference signal of compensated current of Active power filter is obtained from source current reference signal minus load current. Simulation is performed using hysteresis current controller in proposed new controller. Simulation result shows that because active power filter compensates load current, source current is in phase with source voltage and source current is sinusoidal. And Hilbert transformer is builded using all pass filter.

Estimation of Human Height and Position using a Single Camera (단일 카메라를 이용한 보행자의 높이 및 위치 추정 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a single view-based technique for the estimation of human height and position. Conventional techniques for the estimation of 3D geometric information are based on the estimation of geometric cues such as vanishing point and vanishing line. The proposed technique, however, back-projects the image of moving object directly, and estimates the position and the height of the object in 3D space where its coordinate system is designated by a marker. Then, geometric errors are corrected by using geometric constraints provided by the marker. Unlike most of the conventional techniques, the proposed method offers a framework for simultaneous acquisition of height and position of an individual resident in the image. The accuracy and the robustness of our technique is verified on the experimental results of several real video sequences from outdoor environments.

Accuracy Assessment of Fishery Map Conversion to World Geodetic System (어장기본도 세계측지계 변환에 따른 정확도 분석)

  • There are problems in using existing fisheries maps, because of deterioration of paper maps, as well as various coordinate systems. In this study, accuracy of fishery maps in World Geodetic System are evaluated. Materials on fishery rights in the Jeollanam-do Province, a study area, used many kind of coordinate systems. During digitization, these coordinate systems have been converted and unified in one World Geodetic System, and one projection origin. In this research, the accuracy of the products of digitization is verified using DGPS surveying. The RMSEs are minimum of 4.62m(at the Younggwang Seas) to maximum of 17.47m(at the Jangheung Seas), and average of 11.97m. The results shows that the digitized fishery maps meet the accuracy standard of 1/25,000 digital topographic maps.

  • 전력계통의 정태안정도 해석에서 발전기의 특성을 정확히 모델링하는 것을 해석결과의 정확도에 매우 큰 영향을 미치게 된다. 본 논문은 발전기 무한모선 계통을 사용하여 발전기의 특성을 정확히 해석하고자 하는 경우에 발전기의 포화특성을 종래의 동일축 전류성분에 의한 포화특성뿐만 아니라 교차자화 효과에 의한 포화특성까지 고려하여 보다 정확한 해석이 가능하도록 하였다. 동일축 성분의 포화 특성과 교차자화 효과에 의한 포화특성을 고려하여 발전기를 해석하기 위한 기준 좌표계로 발전기의 d축이 q축 보다 위상이 90$^{\circ}$앞서는 좌표계를 사용 관계식을 재정립하여 정태안정도 해석에 사용하던 기존의 발전기모델과 일치하도록 하였다. 사례연구를 통해서 포화특성을 정확히 고려하여 발전기를 모델링하는 것이 해석결과의 정확도에 매우 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 보였고, 다양한 계통조건에 대한 정태안정도 해석을 통해서 계통조건의 변화에 따라 포화특성에 영향을 미치는 요소들의 변화를 파악하였다.

  • 단상 계통연계형 인버터에서 전류센서를 통한 상전류 측정시 옵셋 오차는 전류센서와 측정 경로상에 위치한 아날로그 소자의 전압 불균형 및 비선형성으로 인하여 발생하게 된다. 또한 데드타임은 전력용 반도체 스위치를 제어하기 위한 PWM 신호 출력시 필연적으로 발생된다. 본 논문에서는 데드타임으로 인하여 왜곡된 상전류에 포함된 옵셋 오차에 의한 영향을 분석하고 동기좌표계 dq축 전류에 포함된 특정 고조파 성분을 제거하기 위하여 PR 제어기를 사용한 알고리즘이 제안되었다. 데드타임 및 옵셋 오차로 인해 발생된 전류맥동 보상을 위한 기준신호로는 동기좌표계 dq축 전류를 사용하였다. 제안된 알고리즘의 타당성을 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통하여 증명하였다.
