A Study on the Heterodyned Optical Phase Locked Loop (헤테로다인 광 위상 고정 루프 연구)

  • In this paper, the design techniques required to design heterodyned OPLL such as frequency-phase deference detector, loop filter and phase noise of semiconductor laser are presented. Through the experiments with the calculated parameters, we confirmed that the frequency-phase difference detector simply develops an error component that is proportional to the frequency-phase difference between heterodyned optical signals. The achieved frequency-phase locking range of the input laser diode frequency is around ${\pm}150MHz$. This paper describes the details of the designed as well as experimental results.

  • 하지 웨어러블 로봇의 근력 보조 성능을 극대화하기 위해서는 착용자의 보행 상태를 인식하는 보행 위상 추정 기술이 필수적으로 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 착용자의 보행 속도 변화 및 착용자 간 보행 특성 차이에도 강인하게 보행 위상을 추정할 수 있는 LSTM 기반 보행 위상 강건 인식 기술을 개발하였다. 웨어러블 고관절 보조 로봇을 착용한 총 5명의 트레드밀 및 실외 overground의 보행 센서 정보를 바탕으로 학습을 수행하였다. 저속 및 고속 보행을 포함한 다양한 보행 속도에서 정밀한 보행 위상 추정이 가능한 웨어러블 센서 조합을 도출하였고, 보행 위상 인식 정밀성은 5-Fold Cross Validation 기준 RMSE 약 1.68% 수준의 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

  • A PLDRO(Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) in Ku-band(10.95-11.70GHz) is designed with the concept of the feedback property of PLL(Phase Locked Loop). A series feedback type DRO is developed, and VCDRO(Voltage Controlled Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) using a varactor diode as a voltage-variable capacitor is implemented to tune oscillating frequency electrically. Then, PLDRO is designed by using a SPD(Sampling Phase Detector). This PLDRO is phase-locked voltage controlled DRO to reference source(VHF band) by SPD at 10.00 GHz for European FSS(Fixed Satellite Service). The PLDRO generates output power greater than 10dBm at 10.00 GHz and has phase noise of -80 dBc/Hz at 10 KHz offset from carrier. This PLDRO achieves much better frequency stability than conventional VCDRO.

  • TOA(Time of Arrival) 및 TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival)경우 무선국의 시간동기화를 위해서 고도의 기술을 요구하고 있으며, 시간동기오차에 따른 위치검지의 정밀도가 낮아지는 문제가 있어 이를 극복하기 위하여 위상차(PDOA)를 이용한 새로운 열차검지기법의 제안에 따른 구현을 위하여 H/W의 설계에 대하여 기술하고자 한다 본 시스템은 전과의 전달 속도($\lambda$)를 응용하여 기준 주파수인 1.5MHz를 송신 시스템과 수신 시스템의 기준 주파수와 비교하여 그 위상의 차이를 비교하여 지연된 시간을 구한 후 이를 거리로 환산하는 시스템으로서 H/W와 S/W로 구분하여 구현 $\cdot$ 설계되는데 본 논문에서는 H/W설계에 대하여 기숙하였다.

  • Field balancing is required in any kind of phase information for the determination location balancing mass toward a rotor unbalance mass. Phase or phase angle is a measurement of the relationship of how one vibration signal which relates to another vibration signal and is commonly used to calculate the placement of balance weight. In this paper, A right guideline shows the photo optical speed sensor as the external keyphasor is a very useful when diagnosing machinery vibration problems on considering a phase lag comparing to the laser optical speed sensor. Some experimental results generate the interesting phase errors when appling to a wrong conditions. So, Usage of photo optical speed sensor which is used primarily to measure the shaft rotating speed serves as a reference for measuring vibration phase information has effect on the placement of phase angle how it was misunderstood. This paper will help a right method to search for the position of balancing weight and serves as baseline for further measurements using low cost and much easier user convenience. It is concluded that the propose baseline is likely to be applicable to apply to the practical field balancing weight.

  • As drone technology advances, the risks of drones are increasing, then technology to detect drones is becoming important. In this thesis, it was verified that miniaturized and lightweighted active array antenna could be used for radar system to detect drones in reality. The transmit-receive module was designed in the form of tile-type to simplify interconnections between devices. The waveform generation module and the down conversion module were miniaturized to include in one body too. As a result of verifing the detection performance through test, it was confirmed that the detection range was over 3.7Km.

  • We implemented a PLDRO(Phase Locked Dielectric Resonator Oscillator) using the concept of the feedback property of PLL(Phase Locked Loop) for Ku-band(10.95-11.70 GHz). The conventional approaches to a PLDRO design use varactor diode tuning method.. But in theis paper, the PLDRO has the advantage of the frequency sensitivity to changes in the supple voltage of the oscillating device without the frequency-variable part by varactor diode voltage-control. and uses a SPD(Sampling Phase Detector) for phase-comparision. The PLDRO is composed of the DRO phase-locked to the reference signal of UHF band by using a SPD for high frequency stability and can be available for European FSS(Fixed Satellite Service) at 10.00GHz. The PLDRO generates the output power of 8.67 dBm at 10.00 GHz and has a phase noise of -81 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset from carrier. The hamonic and spurious characteristics have -42.33 dBc and -65dBc respectively. This PLDRO has much better frequency stability, lower phase noise, and more economical effect for a satellite system than conventional DRO.

An Implementation of Stable Optical Security System using Interferometer and Cascaded Phase Keys (간섭계와 직렬 위상 키를 이용한 안정한 광 보안 시스템의 구현)

  • In this paper, we proposed an stable optical security system using interferometer and cascaded phase keys. For the encryption process, a BPCGH(binary phase computer generated hologram) that reconstructs the origial image is designed, using an iterative algorithm and the resulting hologram is regarded as the image to be encrypted. The BPCGH is encrypted through the exclusive-OR operation with the random generated phase key image. For the decryption process, we cascade the encrypted image and phase key image and interfere with reference wave. Then decrypted hologram image is transformed into phase information. Finally, the origianl image is recovered by an inverse Fourier transformation of the phase information. During this process, interference intensity is very sensitive to external vibrations. a stable interference pattern is obtained using self-pumped phase-conjugate minor made of the photorefractive material. In the proposed security system, without a random generated key image, the original image can not be recovered. And we recover another hologram pattern according to the key images, so can be used an authorized system.

  • In this paper, double encryption technology of image based on scramble operation and phase-shifting digital holography is proposed. For the purpose, we perform first encryption digitally using scramble operation for the to be encrypted image, and perform phase modulation to the first encrypted image. Finally, we get the secondary encryption information through the interference between the phase-shifted reference wave and phase modulated image. The decryption process proceeds in the reverse order of the encryption process. The original image is reconstructed by digitally decoding the two encrypted images through a phase shift digital holography technique that appropriately performs arithmetic processing, phase-demodulating and then using the encryption key information used in the scramble operation. The proposed cryptosystem can recover the original image only if both the key information used in the scramble operation, the distance information used in the phase shift digital holography technique, and the wavelength of the light source are known accurately.
