Extracting the Operation Characteristics for Integrated Interface Construction of the Network Electronics (네트워크 가전의 통합 인터페이스 구축을 위한 조작방법의 특성 추출)

  • 본 연구는 근미래에 실현 가능할 것이라고 판단되는 홈 오토메이션 시대에 대비하여, 유저의 사용편의성 향상과 메이커 입장에서의 디자인전략 수립을 위한 홈 네트워크 정보가전의 통합형 유저 인터페이스 구축을 목표로, 대표 메이커의 홈 네트워크에 대한 현황파악과 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, '스테이션 의존형 시스템 구축', '조작성의 향상', '기기 간의 친화성 향상'의 필요성 규명과 함께, 네트워크 가전의 인터페이스 구축의 개념 모델의 필요성을 도출하였다. 나아가, 유저 인터페이스의 통합화가 가능한 기종의 선별과 네트워크 가전으로서의 조작방법상 특징을 추출하기 위하여, 총 34개 제품에 대한 38가지의 물리적 특성에 대한 분석을 실시, 가전제품은 크게 4가지의 조작방법에 따른 총 7개의 그룹으로 분류할 수 있었다. 그 중 Full Control과 Remote Control, Non Control, Simple Control, Direct Control의 5개 그룹에 속하는 정보가전제품들이 홈 네트워크 가전에 적합하며, 공통되는 인터페이스를 구축하는 것이 가능하다는 것을 알았다. 또한 그 제품군들의 통합형 인터페이스 구축을 위한 공통조작 요소로 Direct Control과 Simple Control, Non Control이 적합하다는 점도 규명했다.

Features and Component Analysis of the GeumguJagi(金釦瓷器) Excavated from Seongneung(石陵) (석릉(碩陵) 출토 금구자기(金釦瓷器)의 특징과 성분 분석)

  • The purpose of this paper is to share the status and introduce a scientific analysis of the GeumguJagi (gilt-silver overlay porcelain, 金釦瓷器) excavated from Seongneung (石陵). This analysis aimed to highlight the GeumguJagi excavated from the Royal Tombs of Goryeo with a clear lower year (1237) and to aid research into the GeumguJagi. In 2001, the National Institute of Cultural Heritage excavated and investigated Seongneung in Heejong (熙宗). Various artifacts such as celadon, gold, bronze, and iron products were collected from the chambers inside of the tomb. There were a total of 160 celadon items including bowls, dishes, glasses, and saucers. Of those, there were 58 celadon items (including fragments) with metal frames on the openings. These consisted of bowls, plates, lids, and saucers. Until recently, in various exhibitions and papers, only one GeumguJagi was known to have been excavated from Seongneung, which was a . However, the survey identified a number of further GeumguJagis. It had been understood from inherited and excavated products that the materials used for ornaments were restricted to high-quality celadon. However, this study confirmed that the excavation of Seongneung demonstrated the use of various other materials for different models and qualities of GeumguJagis. It can be said that it is characteristic that various models and quality are confirmed together through the excavation of Seongneung. A scientific analysis was carried out that selected 12 of 58 products excavated from Seongneung. Results showed that the main component used for Geumgu ornaments was tin (Sn), and trace amounts of copper (Cu) and lead (Pb) were also commonly identified. When analyzing the material used to affix the metal fittings, this was found to be glue (膠) made from animal skins, muscle, and bones. This pattern matches that of the GeumguJagi excavated from Paju Hyeeumwonji, and the reason for this could be assumed on the basis of the contents of the 『Cheongonggaemul (天工開物)』 written by Song Ongsung (宋應星) during the Ming Dynasty. At that time, metals such as tin and copper would have been difficult to obtain. 『Xuānhwafengshi Gaolitujing (宣和奉使高麗圖經)』 shows that the use of metal was limited to certain classes; thus, the use of the GeumguJagi seems to have been centered around the royal family.

Rearranging Emergency Medical Service Region Using GIS Network Analysis - Daejeon Metropolitan City Case Study (GIS 네트워크 분석을 활용한 응급의료서비스 권역 재조정 방안 - 대전광역시 사례 연구)

  • Emergency Medical Service(EMS) has become focused due to all kinds of disaster and a great number of casualties. The 119 emergency vehicles' dispatching methods are now being focused, for travel time of ambulances are the critical components in terms of saving human lives. Therefore, this study tried to rearrange 119 EMS regions more efficiently. For this study, Daejeon Metropolitan City's real call cases were analyzed. In order to rearrange the regions, OD Cost Matrix analysis was performed between 800 thousands random points and 26 departments in the Daejoen Metropolitan City. By creating Thiessen Polygon from the random points, a new region was created. As a results, average areas of the regions were reduces from 32 square kilometers to 20 square kilometers, and average time of arrivals are were also improved. Hence, if related organizations plan to rearrange EMS regions, they may utilize this study.

  • This paper analyzed the interregional flow changes of software (SW) industries using a GIS Flow Map. Employment data for SW enterprise headquarters from 1999 until 2008 were constructed according to the Origin-Destination Matrix, and were mapped and analyzed using the Flow Mapper and ArcGIS Flow Data Model. From the result we can identify the decentralization of interregional flow in SW industries and recognize the possibilities of the larger SW enterprises' employment, the higher locational footlooseness. The GIS Flow Map was identified as useful tool for researching growth, decline and spatial movement of industrial clusters that experience business relocation. This method can be applied to understand and visualize urban spatial changes.

Classification of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Stations using Graph Partitioning (그래프 분할을 이용한 서울 수도권 지하철역들의 분류)

  • The Seoul metropolitan subway system can be represented by a graph which consists of nodes and edges. In this paper, we study classification of subway stations and trip behaviour of subway passengers through partitioning the graph of the subway system into roughly equal groups. A weight of each edge of the graph is set to the number of passengers who pass the edge, where the number of passengers is extracted from the transportation card transaction database. Since the graph partitioning problem is NP-complete, we propose a heuristic algorithm to partition the subway graph. The heuristic algorithm uses one of two alternative objective functions, one of which is to minimize the sum of weights of edges connecting nodes in different groups and the other is to maximize the ratio of passengers who get on the subway train at one subway station and get off at another subway station in the same group to the total subway passengers. In the experimental results, we illustrate the subway stations and edges in each group by color on a map and analyze the trip behaviour of subway passengers by the group origin-destination matrix.

  • This paper proposes a modified way to delimit the boundary of Busan metropolitan area and compares the empirical analysis with the existing metropolitan area boundary. More specifically, the present state of the metropolitan transportation network is reflected by service area analysis in our study area. The analysis of the linkage between the central city and its fringes considers various travel behaviors as well as commuting to work and school, based on origin-destination trip information. In addition, more diverse indices are applied to the analysis of urban characteristics, and the land cover map is used as well. Compared with the current Busan metropolitan area boundary, our empirical analysis captures the status quo of the undergoing spatial dynamics such as the newly form ed homogeneous sphere of living in our study area.

  • The high resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM) is one of the most powerful methods fer investigating internal structures of various materials on an atomic scale. In fact, HRTEM images are becoming much more common in scientific papers, and are making valuable contributions to development of industrial products. With rapid improvement of current HRTEMS, their maximum resolution reaches almost 0.1 nm. In this paper we describe the fundamental formulation of the imaging process of HRTEM and their practical application f3r nano materials.

  • 본 연구는 $\ulcorner$네트웍$\lrcorner$ 평형모형을 이용하여 일반비용극수(Generalized Cost function)의 모형계수를 결정하는 하나의 방법을 제시한다. 이러한 기법은 동일모형을 실현 하기 위해서는 필연적인 과정이다. 기존의 대부분의 방법은 도시통행상 발생되는 통행자의 제비용을 직접 관측하고 수집하여 모형체계를 결정하였지만 본 연구에서는 이미 활용가능한 기종점별 통행실태조사를 이용하여 통행비용을 내생적으로 결정하고 이에 따른 모형체계를 추출한다. 따라서 본 연구는 자료수집상에 야기될 수 있는 제반 문제점의 행결과 동일목적 의 산출과정을 단순화시키고 내적일관성을 추구하였다는 데에 의의가 있다. 연구의 타당성 검토를 위해 $\ulcorner$시카고$\lrcorner$ 지역에 본 모형과 방법론을 적용하고 결과를 분석하였다.

A Study on Estimation for Freight Transportation Indices on Expressway Using TCS and WIM Data (TCS 및 WIM 자료를 활용한 고속도로 물동량 지표 산정방안에 관한 연구)

  • The expressway of the Korea has an important role in freight movement because 76 percent of the commodity is transported by trucks. However, there has been few indices on the role of expressways regarding freight transportation and truck traffic. The objective of this study is to propose four freight transportation related indices using ITS-related system such as TCS and HS-Wim: total truck's travel miles ($veh{\cdot}km/year$), total freight transport miles ($ton{\cdot}km/year$). efficiency of truck's travel ($veh{\cdot}km/km$), and efficiency of freight movement ($ton{\cdot}km/km$). These truck and freight related indices were estimated and compared by two different data sources: traffic volume data using VDS and OD data using TCS. These indices were designed to estimated on real time and updated every day and month.

A Path-based Traffic Flow Simulation Model for Large Scale Network (기종점 기반 대규모 가로망 교통류 시뮬레이션 모형)

  • The Purpose of this study is to develop a simulation model for large-scale network with interrupted flow as well as uninterrupted flow. The Cell Transmission(CT) theory is used to simulate traffic flow. Flow transition rules have been newly developed to simulate traffic flows at merging and diverging sections, and signalized intersections. In the model, it is assumed that dynamic OD table is exogenously given. Simulation results for toy network shows that the model can explain queue dynamics not only in signalized intersections of urban arterials, but also in merging and diverging sections of freeway. In case study, the model successfully simulated traffic flows of 145,000 vehicles on CBD network of city of Seoul with 74 traffic zones, 133 signalized intersections among 395 nodes and 1110 links.
