  • In devising technological innovation strategies and implementing successful technological innovation, some of the most important factors may be to determine whether to protect technological innovation and to choose how to protect it. Traditionally, technological innovation has been emphasized to obtain compensation as much as possible for innovation in terms of economics and strategy. However, it can be regarded as a very complicated problem to determine such a protection and its level. Generally speaking, enterprises have some common mechanisms to secure compensation for technological innovation, which are known to be patents, secrecy and lead time advantage. From the standpoint of enterprises, it is very important what strategies should be devised to secure profits for technological innovation. According to some domestic and oversea research results revealed that specific patents are not the best way to Appropriability for technological innovation, while also implying that there exist several different kinds of mechanisms to Appropriability for technological innovation in each industry. Nevertheless, since it shouldn't be ignored that most of the researches have overlooked the characteristics of Korean enterprises and industrial differences, this study intends to clarify the effectiveness of technological innovation Appropriability mechanisms reflecting actual circumstances and industrial characteristics in Korea while classifying them. Also The questionnaires and delphi method used in this study. As the result of analysis, in the entire industries, the priorities turned out to be in the order of Superior sales and service efforts, Leadtime advantage, Complementary manufacturing.

  • We can expect an effective color marketing to build up a positive industrial image as it is easy for consumer to approach due to the ability of colors to affect human consciousness and sub-consciousness more than any other factor. The purpose of this research is to draw attention to the importance of color communication and to find strategies to elevate the brand image by surveying the degree of influence color communication has when forming a brand image. In order to conduct effective research, we executed theoretical and collaborative analysis through research materials and documents. If you take a look at the outcome of this research, brands that brings credibility and likability to its customers are not brands that uses color communication, but brands that utilize marketing strategies that build up credibility for quite some time. Also, preference over colors are distinctive. It turned out to be that the color of a brand logo that one likes has very little to do with one's favorite color. When people choose a brand, they are choosing the brand not because of the color of the brand logo, but its credibility and likability that the brand offers. It proves that the color of the brand logo has nothing to do with the colors that people prefer. The relationship between the color that consumers prefer and the image and emotional color that forms brand image is negligible. However, since research shows that there was a relationship between the color you prefer and the emotional color that forms brand images, it seems to be important to figure out what color customers prefer rather than the color that shows customers' self image. Unlike existing color communication research, through this research, we would like to know how to utilize the color communication strategically in the forming of brand images and take a look at the relationship between customers' preferences and the image of each brand logo's emotional color.

  • Organizations that make widely use of information technologies can be more efficient. But, the dependence of information technologies leads to an increase in threat of security. This is the reason why organizations are investing in security risk management (SRM) which is designed to protect of information assets. Noting a lack of empirical research in SRM, we investigate the key factors having a direct effect on performance of SRM. Particularly, this study focused on identifying factors influencing awareness of SRM and Intention to develop SRM in Organization. Based on relevant literature review, six motivating factors, including Behavior for Security Management, Compliance with Security Policy, perceived Benefits, Perceived Sacrifice, Social Pressure, Experience of Security Risks, were initially identified. The results indicated that most perception factors were positively related to Organization's intention to develop SRM and awareness of SRM, which then had positive impact on performance of SRM. But Perceived Sacrifice was not significantly related to two variables which is Organization's intention to develop SRM and awareness of SRM.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest the implications for maximizing the efficiency of job training conducted by companies through studying the effects of job education and training programs on job efficiency and job satisfaction. This study surveyed 300 employees of medium and large companies in Cheongju. The causality was verified based on the collected questionnaires. The results of the study are as follows. First, companies should understand the educational needs of heir employees and develop and operate employee-centered education programs. Second, companies need to have an autonomous system in order to allow voluntary application of education that can help employees to perform their duties among the external education programs. Third, companies should uncover the needs of their employees in various ways and build up the latest educational materials and educational environment to establish new knowledge and learning conditions. Finally, companies should recognize their employees as a concept of their partners and respect each employee's capabilities so that they can have autonomy and fun in their work activities.

  • Recently, security behavior of members of organizations has been recognized as a critical part of information security at the corporate level. Leakage of customers' information brings more attention to information security behavior of organizations and the importance of a task force. Research on information breach and information security is actively conducted of personal behavior toward security threats or members of organizations who use security technology. This study aims to identify factors of influence on information security behavior of members of organizations and to empirically find out how these factors affect information security behavior through behavior toward attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavior control. On the basis of the research, this study will present effective and efficient ways to foster information security activities of members of organizations. To this end, the study presented a research model that applied significant variables based on integration of Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) and Theory of Protection Motivation (TPM). To empirically verify this research model, the study conducted a survey of members of organizations who had security-related work experience at companies. So, it is critical for members of organizations to encourage positive word of mouth (WOM) about information security behavior. Results show that based on the integration of TPM and TPB, perceived vulnerability, perceived severity, perceived efficiency and perceived barriers of information security behavior of members of organizations had significant influences on mediating variables such as behavior toward attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control and intention. They also had significant influences on organization information security behavior which is a dependent variable. This study indicates companies should introduce various security solutions so that members of the organizations can prevent and respond to potential internal and external security risks. In addition, they will have to take actions to inspect vulnerability of information system and to meet security requirements such as security patches.

  • This purpose of this study is for an Airline company to discover and utilize new knowledge because knowledge and information are considered core tools for achieving high performance and competitive advantage, and achieving high performance and competitive advantage will surely determine the long-term survival of airline companies. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the causal relationships among different types of organizational culture, the knowledge sharing activities and the effectiveness of organizational work by airline members from a holistic viewpoint. The results of analysis are as follows. First, when examining the effects of the organizational culture types of airline members on knowledge sharing, a creative innovation culture, a relational group culture and a hierarchical orientation culture all showed positive effects on knowledge sharing. Second, the knowledge sharing by airline members showed a significant positive effect on the effectiveness of organizational work. Third, the creative innovation culture, the relational group culture and the hierarchical orientation culture all showed positive effects on the effectiveness of organizational work. Fourth, knowledge sharing did not have a mediating effect on the relationship between organizational culture and the effectiveness of organizational work.

A cluster analysis of the audit result on quality management system in architectural design and engineering firms (설계 및 엔지니어링분야의 품질경영시스템 심사결과에 대한 유형분석)

  • ISO 9001, the quality management system issued by the International Organization for Standardization, is being used by architectural design and engineering firms in order to strengthen the capability of business activities through the implementation of the international and advanced quality management systems. However, there have been significant problems in stable implementation and settlement of ISO 9001 in construction industry, which seem to be caused by key employees' lack of proper recognition and comprehension. The purpose of this research, accordingly, is to find and analyze nonconformity results which were found when the third party registrars audited the conformity of companies' quality management systems for ISO 9001 certification especially in architectural design and engineering firms. For this purpose this research was conducted by a cluster analysis of 647 audit reports out of representative 15 architectural design and engineering firms that have been audited periodically from 1997 to 2003 by the third party registrars. The analysis showed that the most frequent problems were generated in the areas of $\ulcorner$Design and Development$\lrcorner$ , $\ulcorner$production and Service Provision$\lrcorner$ , and $\ulcorner$General requirements$\lrcorner$ of the quality management system. The following, the areas of $\ulcorner$Monitoring and Measurement$\lrcorner$ and $\ulcorner$purchasing$\lrcorner$ were also analyzed as main factors which caused frequent nonconformity results. This research also shows that the corrective actions for nonconformity results are closely connected with the whole management activities in architectural design and engineering firms. Consequently, corrective actions for disposition of nonconformities should be implemented more specifically in order to settle and activate the quality management systems in architectural design and engineering firms.

A Study on the Measurement of Startup and Venture Ecosystem Index (창업·벤처 생태계 측정에 관한 연구)

  • The importance of startups and ventures in the Korean economy is growing. This study measured whether the start-up and venture ecosystem is growing, including the growth of startups and ventures. The startup and venture ecosystem consists of startups and ventures, investors, and government, which are the main actors of the 'ecosystem', and their movements were measured with 25 quantitative indicators. Based on the original data of the time series from 2010 to 2020, the startup and venture ecosystem index was calculated by applying weights through the comprehensive stock index method and AHP. In 2020, the startup and venture ecosystem grew 2.9 times compared to 2010, and the increase in the government index had a significant impact on growth. Also, the individual indicators that make up each index in 2020, the corporate index had the greatest impact on the growth of the number of 100-billion ventures, while the investment index had a recovery amount and the government index had a significant impact. Based on the original data, the startup and venture ecosystem index was analyzed by dividing it into ecosystems (startup ecosystem and venture ecosystem), industry by industry (all industries and manufacturing industry), and region (Korea and Busan). As a result, the growth of the startup ecosystem over the past decade has been slightly larger than that of the venture ecosystem. The manufacturing was lower than that of all industries, and Busan was lower than that of the nation. This study was intended to use it for the establishment and implementation of support policies by developing, measuring, and monitoring the startup and venture ecosystem index. This index has the advantage of being able to research the interrelationships between major actors, and anyone can calculate the index using the results of official statistical surveys. In the future, it is necessary to continuously update this content to understand how economic and social events or policy support have affected the startup and venture ecosystem.

Predictors of Binge Drinking in Korean Men and Women: The Seventh Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey(KNHANES VII-3), 2018 (한국 성인 남녀의 폭음 예측요인 -국민건강영양조사 제7기 3차년도(2018)-)

  • This study was conducted to identify the factors predicting binge drinking in men and women in Korea based on the results of the 7th year 3rd National Health and Nutrition Survey. The study data used the demographic and health-related characteristics and drinking characteristics of the National Health and Nutrition Survey, and were analyzed by cross-sample analysis and logistic regression analysis. As a result of the study, age (M:p=.003, F:p<.001), drinking frequency for one year (M:p<.001, F:p<.001), amount of alcohol consumed at a time (M:p<.001) 001, F:p<.001), family/doctor's recommendation for moderation (M:p<.001, F:p<.001), stress (M:p=.025, F:p<.001), Smoking (M:p<.001, F:p<.001) were predictors for binge drinking in both men and women. In addition, education level(p=.030) and economic activity status(p=.018) for men, income level(p<.001) and marital status(p=.020) for women were identified as predictors of binge drinking, and variables explained 72.4%(p < .001) and 74.5%(p < .001) of adult male and female binge drinking. This study is meaningful in that it provided basic data on the establishment of a gender-specific binge drinking prevention policy and the restructuring of drinking culture by clarifying that the risk factors of binge drinking in Korean adults differ by gender.

Genetic Diversity of Rana catesbiana Captured on various sites in Korea based on mitochondrial ND1 sequence (미토콘드리아 ND1 유전자 염기서열 비교를 통한 국내 서식 황소개구리의 유전적 다양성 조사)

  • 1970년대 식용을 위한 양식을 목적으로 일본에서 수입된 황소개구리가 국내 하천과 호서생태계에 큰 피해를 주었으나, 최근 급속히 그 개체수가 줄어든 것으로 추정되므로 이번 연구에서는 국내에 서식하는 북미산 황소개구리의 유전자 분석을 통하여 개체동태군에 대한 유전적 연관을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 전라남도 지역에서 서식하는 황소개구리를 채집하여 이미 발표된 북미산 황소개구리와 미토콘드리아 ND1/tRNA 유전자 1215bp의 염기서열을 비교, 분석하였다. 북미산과 비교하였을 때 조사한 국내 서식 개체 모두에게 ND1/tRNA 유전자 1개 위치에서 염기변화가 발견되었으나 이는 도입 개체군의 유전자인지 국내 특이변이가 진행된 것인지 확실하지 않다. 또한 조사한 개체 일부에서 유전자 염기서열의 6위치에서의 변이가 발견되었으나 국내 서식 황소개구리는 미국산 황소개구리와의 유전적 차이가 거의 없으며, Kimura-2-parameter 분석결과 국내 서식 황소개구리 개체 내에서 $98.7\%\~100\%$의 높은 유사성을 보여 종내 유전적 차이가 거의 없는 것으로 보인다. Neighbor-Joining과 Maximum Parsimony 분석 결과, cluster를 이루는 개체군의 차이를 보였으므로 개체들이 분화되어 나온 시점과 위치가 다른 것으로 확인되었지만 장흥, 영암, 고흥의 개체가 국내 도입시기의 개체군에 속하며 광주, 남평 지역의 개체군이 고흥의 한 개체로부터 분화되어 나왔음을 추정할 수 있다. 이러한 결과로부터 국내에 서식하는 황소개구리가 도입 후 지역 특이적 분화가 일어났다고 결정하기는 무리가 있으며, 이와 같이 유전적 유전도가 높은 개체들간의 교배에 따른 유전적유전적 다양성의 감소가 최근에 관찰되는 국내산 황소개구리의 급격한 감소원인들 중의 하나일 가능성을 시사한다.년도) 18,756, 2045(년도) 22,595, 시장점유율 증가로 인한 수출액 증가분 누적(억원) : 2015(년도) 3,411, 2025(년도) 8,847, 2035(년도) 14,433, 2045(년도) 18,005 또한 시나리오 비교평가를 실시하여 본 결과, 본 연구에서 정의한 순편익 누적(Cumulative Net Profit) 변수를 적용하면 현재 연구비 추세 대비 $30\%$ 까지 연구비를 증가 시키는 것이 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.성, 생산 용이성, 제품 디자인의 우수한 정도가 a=0.01 수준 하에서 유의적으로 추정되었다. 이들 변수들 중에서 품질경쟁력에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 측정변수는 제품의 기본 성능, 수명(내구성), 신뢰성, 제품 디자인의 순서로 추정되었다. 이것은 한국 제조업이 아직 산업 디자인이 품질경쟁력에 크게 영향을 미치는 성숙단계에 이르지 못하였음을 의미한다. (2) 제품 디자인에게 영향을 끼치는 유의적인 변수는 연구개발력, 연구개발투자 수준, 혁신활동 수준(5S, TPM, 6Sigma 운동, QC 등)이며, 제품 디자인은 우선 품질경쟁력을 높여 간접적으로 고객만족과 고객 충성을 유발하는 것으로 추정되었다. 상기의 분석결과로부터, 본 연구는 다음과 같은 정책적 함의를 도출하였다. 첫째, 신상품 개발과 혁신을 위한 포괄적인 연구개발 프로젝트를 품질 경쟁력의 주요 결정요인(제품의 기본성능, 신뢰성, 수명(내구성) 및 제품 디자인)과 연계하여 추진해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 기업은 디자인 경영 마인드 제고와 디자인 전문인력 양성을, 대학은 디자인 현장 업무를 통하여 창의력 증진과 기획 및 마케팅 능력 교육을, 정부는 디자인 기술개발 및 디자인 교육지원의 강화를 통하여 각각 디자인 경쟁력$\rightarrow$품질경쟁력을 제고시켜야 할 것이
