As the Port State Control Inspection recognized that almost marine casualties are caused by human faults rather than vessel's defaults, it has put more emphasis on the qualification of ships' crew and the education required. Accordingly, for shipping companies it is an urgent task to operate effective crew education system that can meet the standards of international agreements and domestic laws. Therefore, this study aims at deriving the attitude of crews of 'S' shipping company on the education and some implication for the effective crew education systems. For this questionnaire survey has been carried out and the data analysed by the respondent groups.

Investment in training by a company can lead to the retention and motivation of its valued staff and promote high self-fulfillment by providing career development. The objectives of this research were (a) to test the perceived satisfaction with a training based on respondents' socio-demographic characteristics, (b) to investigate training motivation factors affecting employees' training satisfaction, (c) to assess how training motivation factors affect the employees' satisfaction, and (d) to indicate the relationship between training satisfaction and the employees' job satisfaction. Additionally, by developing an employees' training motivation model and conducting multiple regression analysis, two types of motivation factors, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation, were shown to be positively related to employees' training satisfaction. Subsequently, this employees' training satisfaction was a significant determinant factor for improving job satisfaction.

본 논문에서는 미국·영국의 사례를 통한 정책적 함의를 제시하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 미국의 경우 초기 대응자로서 민간 부문의 중심적인 역할, 공공과 비영리 그리고 민간 부문 조직들의 협력적 대응, 자원봉사자들의 적극적인 참여, 평소 민간 부문에 대한 훈련, 민간 기업의 기민성과 영국의 경우 위기관리를 위한 언론의 협조자 역할, 정부의 언론을 통한 위기관리의 중요성 인식 등은 우리에게 시사하는 바가 크다. 요컨대, 미국·영국의 경우 전 국가적 차원에서의 대테러활동을 위한 민·관 간의 협력적 운영이라는 사실과 더불어 우리나라 대테러 관계기관 실무자들의 민·관 협력 기능의 필요성에 대해 시민의식의 향상, 시민단체와 민간 기업의 사회적 공익 분야 강조, 언론의 역할 정립에 대한 인식이 높아지고 있는 시점에서 대테러시스템 운영을 위해 이들의 역할과 기능이 더욱 확충되는 방안을 모색해야 할 것이다.

This study presents another effective way of ERP training and education for the successful deployment of ERP in public and private sectors. In general, there have been many researches on ERP implementation success factors. However, training methods and research related to effective ERP education/training are difficult to find. Several studies on the ERP implementation success factors state that the Chief Executive Office Interest in the project, education and training are one of the most important factors. In order to successfully implement an ERP, ERP education and training must preferentially be continuous and done by long-term plan. In Chapter 2, we examined the previous researches to determine the status of effective education and training in private and public sectors. Feedbacks from public enterprises, private enterprises, ERP consultants and production professionals from the survey are analysed using the Delphi method. Using the SPSS statistical analysis, survey results derived another effective private and public enterprise ERP education/training strategies and management guidelines.

To date, the literature has focused on formal R&D activities, such as internal, joint or external R&D, but informal R&D activities, such as job training or design, can also have a positive impact on technological innovation. To address this research gap, this paper examined 1) the influence of informal R&D activities on innovation adoption, and 2) the differences between formal R&D-oriented and informal R&D-oriented firms in process and product innovation. For this, statistical analysis was conducted using the data set from 2012 Korea Innovation Survey. The results suggest that 1) informal R&D activities can influence process innovation, and 2) firms engaging in both informal and formal R&D actively adopt product innovation. Findings suggest that 1) firms should recognize the importance of informal R&D and 2) national R&D policy should reflect the positive role of informal R&D in technological innovation.

본고(本稿)에서는 지난 1973~93년 기간동안 제조업부문에서의 고용(雇傭), 임금(賃金), 생산성(生産性) 등의 변화추이(變化推移)에 대한 분석을 통하여 우리나라 중소제조업(中小製造業)의 세가지 특징적(特徵的)인 팽창양식(膨脹樣式)으로 (1)급격한 양적(量的) 팽창(膨脹), (2)중소기업(中小企業)과 대기업(大企業)간 임금(賃金) 생산성(生産性) 격차(隔差)의 거대(據大), (3)산업조정(産業調整)에 따른 고용조정(雇傭調整) 등에 주목(注目)하였다. 이러한 중소제조업 고용의 동태적인 변화에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 최근 심각히 부각되고 있는 중소제조업 생산직의 인력부족문제를 단순히 '노동(勞動)에 대한 초과수요(超過需要)'로 파악하는 정태적(靜態的)인 관점(觀點)을 비판하였으며, 또한 중소기업 인력(人力)의 질(質)이 대기업(大企業)에 비하여 상대적으로 저하되었음을 보임으로써 중소제조업(中小製造業) 고용문제(雇傭問題)의 핵심은 양적(量的)인 부족(不足)이 아니라 '인력(人力)의 질(質)'의 문제임을 강조하였다. 특히 우리나라 인력개발체계가 국가적(國家的)으로 직업자격(職業資格)을 갖춘 중간기술인력(中間技術人力)을 제대로 배출해 내는 데 실패함으로써, 대기업에 비하여 종업원에 대한 교육훈련에 있어서 규모의 경제를 갖지 못하는 중소기업의 경우 질 높은 인력의 확보에 어려움을 겪는 데 문제의 심각성이 있음을 지적하였다. 또한 본고(本稿)에서는 우리나라의 중소기업(中小企業)이 생산현장(生産現場)에서 바로 활용할 수 있는 직업자격(職業資格)을 갖춘 중간기술인력(中間技術人力)을 제대로 공급할 수 있도록, (1)직업기술교육(職業技術敎育), 직업훈련(職業訓練), 자격제도(資格制度)간의 연계(連繫) 강화(强化), (2)새로운 국가기술자격제도(國家技術資格制度)의 확립(確立), (3)인력개발(人力開發)네트워크의 구축(構築), (4)인력개발지원체계(人力開發支援體系)의 정비(整備) 등 네가지를 기본방향(基本方向)으로 하는 우리나라 인력개발체계(人力開發體系)의 전반적(全般的)인 개편(改編)을 제언(提言)하였다.

This study aims to propose specific directions for developing digital twin contents. This aim is achieved by thorough literature review and applying the grounded theory. Based on customers' need analysis, this study suggests the priorities of contents development of digital twins. As a result, complex workflows and dangerous training contents are adequate to be developed. Moreover, large-scale projects such as nuclear powerplants that are hard to build the mock-ups were considered to be effective. This study provides significant information for not only software developers but also clients who desire to reduce training fees and improve the complex workflows. Since these client companies operate based upon multiple complex workflows, this study encourages stakeholders to make effective decisions. This research needs further analysis of current digital twin technology- possibilities and limitations.

This study researches the correlation between the firm value, which can be represented as Tobin's Q in this paper, and other financial information. The research is based on the financial statistics of KOSDAQ-listed Venture manufactures, which is comprised of the venture businesses group and the general group. The multiple regression, the correlation test tool, shows the R&D expenditures and tangible assets have the positive relation with the firm value while training expenses and the return on assets have the negative one. More specifically, R&D expenditures and total assets have the affirmative relations with the firm value among the venture businesses, whereas tangible assets, advertising expenses, and training expenses have the negative ones. The positive correlation between total assets and the firm value of venture business, shows that the volume of intangible assets impacts on the firm value of venture businesses. It also reflects the features of venture businesses highly relying on the technology development. The results are summarized as follows: First, The R&D expenditures and firm value have been positively correlated in the KOSDAQ-listed companies. Second, total assets and firm value has the positive correlation in the venture businesses.
