  • 스마트폰 애플리케이션 시장은 단기간 비약적인 성장을 거듭했다. 여러 각종 분야에서 애플리케이션 개발을 원하는 곳이 많아졌고 그만큼 앱 개발자들을 원하는 시장이 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구는 앱 개발을 도전하려는 1인 혹은 소규모 아마추어 개발자 입장에서 관련 실력을 효과적으로 늘릴 수 있는 방법을 제공하고 전반적인 애플리케이션 개발과 환경에 관한 유익한 정보들을 쉽게 접근함으로써 조금 더 애플리케이션 개발에 관심을 갖게 되는 계기가 될 것이다. 또한 본 연구의 게임 애플리케이션은 사용자들의 명시적 기억과 암묵적 기억 훈련에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 개발하였다.

  • 온라인 교육 시스템에서 사용자는 효과적인 학습을 위해 향상된 교육 컨텐츠를 이용하고자 한다. 온라인 교육 시스템은 다양한 알고리즘을 프로그래밍하여 개별 사용자에게 적합한 구성이 가능하다. 이러한 온라인 교육 시스템은 미리 짜여진 프로그램에 의한 체계적인 반복 교육에 적합하다. 사용자의 효과적인 학습을 측정하는데 있어 학습한 내용이 장기기억 되는 방법의 적용은 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 학습한 내용의 기억 추이를 나타내는 에빙하우스 망각 곡선 이론을 기반으로 학습 시스템의 장기 기억 메커니즘을 구현하고자 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 온라인 교육 시스템의 학습 내용은 학습자의 장기 기억된 정도를 측정함으로써 그 효용성을 나타낸다.

  • 최근 자율 로봇을 지원하는 로봇의 지식 체계를 확립하기 위해 온톨로지 기술이 많이 사용되고 있다. 즉, 온톨로지를 통한 로봇의 지식 체계에 대한 데이터베이스 스키마를 설계하고 이에 따른 추론 시스템을 개발하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 시점이다. 이러한 관점에서, 본 논문은 독거 노인을 보조하는 실용적인 SilverMate 로봇분야와 같은 로봇의 지능적인 서비스를 요구하는 분야에서 로봇의 지식 체계 프레임워크를 제공하는데 초점을 두고 있다. 제안하는 지식 체계는 로봇의 자전적 기억을 중심으로 자전적 기억을 기술하기 위한 5W1H 모델을 제안하고 의미적 상관관계를 기술하기 위해 의미기억 모델로서 SCOT-SN 모델, 절차적 기억 모델로서 TES 모델을 정의한다.

  • 디지털 카메라란 일반적인 광학 카메라와 달리 렌즈를 통과한 피사체의 영상을 필름이 아닌 1과 0의 디지털 데이터로 메모리에 저장하는 첨단 카메라를 말한다. 따라서 기존의 카메라에는 필수적인 필름이 필요없게 되고 디지털 데이터를 보관할 수 있는 기억장치 또는 데이터를 외부의 기억장치에 전송할 수 있는 전송장치가 필요하다.

Effects of Giving Prompts and Asking for Self-Explanation Depend on the Students' Need for Cognition (촉진질문 제공과 자기설명 지시가 기억과 이해에 미치는 영향: 인지욕구와의 상호작용)

  • A three factor experiment was conducted to explore the effects of giving prompts and asking for self explanation and the modulating effect of the need for cognition (NC) on the two interventions. The effects of giving prompts and asking for self explanation were different depending on the task and the level of need for cognition. Participants of low NC conditions showed the prompt effect and the self explanation effect in the memory tests. On the other hand, participants in the high NC conditions performed better in the comprehension test when they were given prompts and were asked to self explain. However, high NC participants performed worse when they were asked to self explain without providing the prompts. The results were interpreted to suggest the importance of detecting the right parts in getting the self explanation effect.

Goal-Directed Learning and Memory (목표지향적 학습과 기억)

  • Previous research on learning and memory has focused on how they are constructed through past experiences. Recent studies, however, have shed light on that such cognitive processes are in service of higher goals of maximizing future rewards. This review paper aims to introduce and discuss a related line of research. First, this paper introduces researches that show goal-directed model-based reinforcement learning, in which agents choose a behavior that does not necessarily bring immediate rewards but will allow future rewards, based on generalization and analogical extrapolation. It also reviews studies on neural substrates of goal-directed learning, and discusses that cognitive process implicated in striatal dopaminergic signals can also influence memory. Especially, memory is not a merely passive process of storing and retrieving past experiences homogeneously, but rather results of a decision-making process to serve higher goals. The body of research suggests that information on future rewards can have influence on current cognitive processing in a retrospective manner.

The Effect of Emotional Content and Context on Memory Encoding: ERP Studies (자극과 맥락의 정서성이 기억 부호화에 미치는 영향: ERP 연구)

  • This study examined the effects of emotional content on the encoding process of emotional stimuli and the effects of emotional context on those of neutral stimuli. It was examined whether the superior memory of emotional stimuli is due to attentional resource allocation. This study were performed an emotional picture and a neutral word were presented in succession at every trials. The results of recognition judgement showed superior memory of emotional pictures than neutral pictures, but showed poorer memory of neutral words in emotional context than those in neutral context. LPC(Late Positive Complex) of ERP results showed the similar pattern: higher amplitude by emotional pictures than neutral pictures, and lower amplitude by neutral words in emotional context than those in neutral context. This result is considered to support attention allocation hypothesis.

Effects of Treadmill Exercise on Memory, Hippocampal Cell Proliferation, BDNF, TrkB, and Forebrain Cholinergic Cells in Adolescent Rats (트레드밀 운동이 청소년기 흰쥐의 기억력과 해마 신경세포생성, BDNF, TrkB, 그리고 전뇌 콜린 세포에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effects of treadmill exercise on memory ability, cell proliferation, BDNF, and TrkB in the hippocampus and forebrain cholinergic cells in adolescent rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats (4 weeks old) were randomly assigned to the following two groups: the sedentary group (n=10) and the exercise group (n=10). Rats in the exercise group were forced to run on a treadmill for 30 min, five times per week for 4 weeks. The latency of the step-through avoidance task was used in order to evaluate memory ability. Hippocampal brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and tropomyosin-related kinase B (TrkB) expression were assessed by Western blotting. Hippocampal cell proliferation and forebrain cholinergic cells were assessed by immunohistochemistry. The present study showed that treadmill running during the adolescent period significantly improved memory capability, increased hippocampal cell proliferation, up-regulated hippocampal BDNF and TrkB expression, and enhanced the number of forebrain cholinergic cells. These results suggest that regular exercise during the adolescent period may enhance memory function.

Development of On-line Monitoring System for Shape Memory Alloy Composite (형상기억복합재료에 대한 온라인 모니터링 시스템 개발)

  • A hot press method was use for the optimal manufacturing condition for a shape memory alloy(SMA) composite. The bonding between the matrix and the reinforcement within the SMA composite by the hot press method was strengthened by cold rolling. In this study, the objective was to develop an on-line monitoring system for the prevention of the crack initiation and propagation by shape memory effort of SMA composite. Shape memory effect was used to prevent the SMA composite from cracking. For the system to be developed, an optimal hE parameter should be determined based on the degree of damage and crack initiation. When the SHA composite was heated by the plate heater attached at the composite, the propagating cracks appeared to be controlled by the compressive force of SMA.

  • This study explored the official memory of Korean War through the photographs of pictorial history books. The object of this study was two books of pictorial history that were published in America and China. Two books are Pictorial History of Korean War and The Glories of the People's Army of China. This study investigated symbolic meanings of the Korean War photographs through content analysis and visual analysis. This study analyzed the difference of official memory of Korean War in America and China. In Pictorial History of Korean War, the superiority of military strength was the memory of Korean War. While in The Glories of the People's Army of China, the superiority of socialism was the memory of Korean War. The Korean War photography actualized particular interpretations on Korean War.
