칼만필터를 이용한 Baro-Inertial 고도루프의 설계 및 성능분석

  • 관성항법장치는 관성항법장치를 구성하는 관성센서인 가속도계 및 자이로의 오차요소에 의해 수평축 항법오차는 슐러주기를 가지고 서서히 증가하는 반면에 수직축 오차는 기하급수적으로 증가하는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그러므로 관성항법장치를 장시간 운용하는 경우에는 비관성 보조센서를 이용하여 관성항법장치의 수직축 항법오차에 대한 보정을 반드시 수행하여야 한다. 관성항법장치의 수직축 항법오차를 보정하기 위한 비관성 보조센서의 일종인 기압고도계는 계측된 대기압과 모델링 된 대기압을 비교하여 항체의 고도를 측정하는 방법을 이용하기 때문에 항체의 자세변화 등에 매우 민감하고 대기압 측정오차에 의해 매우 큰 진폭의 잡음 및 바이어스가 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션 및 시험을 통하여 기압 고도계의 잡음 및 바이어스 오차 성분에 의한 baro-inertial 고도루프의 성능분석 결과를 제시하고 기압고도계 잡음에 둔감한 INS/기압고도계 칼만필터의 설계 결과를 제시한다.

Study on Static Pressure Error Model for Pressure Altitude Correction (기압 고도의 정밀도 향상을 위한 정압 오차 모델에 관한 연구)

  • In GPS/INS/barometer navigation system for UAV, vertical channel damping loop was introduced to suppress divergence of the vertical axis error of INS, which could be reduced to the level of accuracy of pressure altitude measured by a pitot-static tube. Because static pressure measured by the pitot-static tube depends on the speed and attitude of the vehicle, static pressure error models, based on aerodynamic data from wind tunnel test, CFD analysis, and flight test, were applied to reduce the error of pressure altitude. Through flight tests and sensitivity analyses, the error model using the ratio of differential pressure and static pressure turned out to be superior to the model using only differential pressure, especially in case of high altitude flight. Both models were proposed to compensate the effect of vehicle speed change and used differential and static pressure which could be obtained directly from the output of pressure transducer.

  • This paper suggests an altitude determination algorithm using GPS and barometric altitude sensors and evaluates the algorithm by digital map contour. A code based GPS altitude has lots of errors so that the car navigation companies can not use this data. Therefore, altitude is calculated by convergence data with GPS and barometric altitude variance in this paper. The modified altitudes are compared with the digital map contour and then this algorithm's effect is evaluated for the car navigation systems.

  • 정확한 고도, 속도의 측정은 항공기의 효율적인 운영과 안전에 필수적이다. 정확한 고도의 측정은 지형 장애물의 회피와 항로상에서 최저 수직 고도 분리를 유지하기 위해 절대적으로 필요하다. 또한 정확한 속도의 측정은 저속(실속상태)에서 조종상실을 피하고 고속에서 항공기의 구조적 한계와 공기 역학적 한계의 초과를 방지한다. 따라서 비행시험을 통하여 고도와 속도를 정확히 보정해줌으로써 비행안전과 재산상의 손실을 막을 수 있다.

  • Barometers have been used to calculate altitude, and with the development of technology, barometer which had a large volume have now been reduced to about centimeter-level. The altitude calculation using barometer is proceeded using the relationship between reference sea level pressure and the pressure obtained by barometer, and for this, pre-calibration of the barometer is essential. In addition, the barometer has a certain level of bias from actual pressure due to production, and many smartphone manufacturers correct it during the manufacturing process, but it is difficult to correct errors caused by environmental variables. In this paper, we extended methodology of correcting barometer using static reference station to moving drone, and it was possible to calculate the altitude more accurately.

  • DGPS provides less altitude accuracy than horizontal accuracy according to geometric characteristics of GPS satellite arrangement. To assist DGPS altitude measurements, two barometric altitude sensors were used and set up at the mobile and the reference station respectively to get the differential altitude. This differential altitude is coupled with the DGPS altitude measurement by a Kalman filter so that the improved altitude is estimated. The differential altitude is based on the relative altitude measurement but results in providing the absolute altitude. The precision of this differential altitude is verified by experiments in accordance with a baseline length.

  • 이상의 고압중스트레인 측정실험으로부터 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. (1) 고압중에서 스트레인을 측정할 경우, 압력효과스트레인이 생기므로 스트레인의 지시치를 보정할 필요가 있다. (2) 고압 효과스트레인은 같은 종류의 게이지에 있어서도 흩어짐이 있으나 흩어짐의 폭은 압력효과스트 레인의 값보다 작다. 특히 300 기압이상에서는 브릿지의 평형을 취해가지고 측정하며는 이 흩 어짐은 한결 작아진다. (3) 고압수중에서 측정 할 경우, 대후론, 시리콘고무, 이중피복선을 도선 으로 하여 사용하고, 게이지의 부분은 시리콘고무코우팅을 되도록 두껍게 하며는 3,000 기압 정 도까지의 수압중에서도 절연저하를 초래하지 안고, 스트레인측정을 할 수가 있다. (4) 상기의 절연방법은 도선인출부에도 적용할 수 있다. (5) 원통형 하우징 모형의 내외면의 스트레인를 측 정한 결과, 유한요소법해석결과의 타당성을 확인 할 수가 있었다. 본실험은 1974년도 일본통산 성공업기술원에서 위탁받아 동지종합연구소에서, [대식도 원읍조작해저석유굴삭장치의 개발]에 관한 연구성과의 일부와 Waterloo 대학의 G.S. Kular 교수연구실의 연구결과임을 밝혔다.

Signal Treatement for Topex/Poseidon Satellite Altimetric Data and Its Application near the Korean Seas (Topex/Poseidon위성 고도계 자료에 대한 신호처리 및 한반도 주변해역에 대한 그 적용)

  • Topex/Poseidon satellite altimetric data are used to estimate characteristics on the oceanic and atmospheric correction factors, and the mean sea level and its variations in the Yellow Sea, the East China Sea and the East Sea from September 1992 through August 1994(70cycles). For the atmospheric correction factors, the variations of dry troposphere, humid troposphere, ionosphere and inverted barometer were very small as a few centimeters, but the variations of electromagnetic bias were higher than other factors. For the oceanic correction factors, the variations of ocean tide(35cm in track 127 and 60cm in track 214) showed high ranges compared to elastic tide(5cm in track 127 and 1cm in track 214) and loading tide(1.8cm in track 127 and 1cm in track 214). It should be understood that the variations of ocean free surface is mainly under the influence of, firstly, ocean tide and, secondly, electromagnetic bias. Mean sea level in the Yellow Sea are higher than in the rest of Seas. Then its range generally comprised between -60cm and 210cm with mean value of about 100cm. Also its variations showed high values in the Yellow Sea and East China Sea, especially 5.689cm in Youngampo. This result is mainly due to the effects of local topography and tidal current.

  • With the increase in there are smart devices penetration around the world, services related to exercise checks are attracting attention. However, there is existing exercise amount measurement service does not use the altitude information, or because the use of an algorithm that does not corrected the GPS altitude error is not accurate movement distance provided have a problem. Therefore, in this paper, to improve the existing problems, Kalman-filter-based user movement distance measurement algorithm is designed and implementation of improved by using the Kalman-filter based GPS and barometric altimeter sensor fusion algorithm to improve the altitude value the accuracy and of calculate the coordinate plane distance. As a result of comparing the designed and implementation of algorithm with the existing algorithms, it is confirmed that the proposed algorithm improves the accuracy by about 2.17%.

Effect of Direct Solar Radiation with Sloped Topography in a Mesoscale Meteorological Model (중규모 기상모형에서 지표면 경사를 고려한 직달 복사량의 효과)

  • In this study, the effects of the surface topographical characteristics on the meteorological fields are examined in a mesoscale meteorlolgical model. We calculated the direct solar radiation using the illumination angle considering the inclination of topography and tried to find out its effect on meteorological fields. In above experiments, we selected two cases for the clear day and the cloudy day to show the effect of weather and represented the results for two cases. In the correction of the direct solar radiation, the results of two cases indicate that there are obvious differences on the steep Taeback and Soback mountains. And on the time-series analysis the east-facing slope of these mountains receives the more direct solar radiation about $10-60W/m^2$ in the morning hours but lesser in the afternoon hours than the horizontal surface while it is opposite on the west-facing slope. And the results mentioned above are more obvious at clear day. With the same analysis method, at clear day, the surface skin temperature is higher at all hours than that on horizontal surface on the both of slope. At cloudy and rainy day, the surface skin temperature on the east-facing slope is higher in the morning hours but lower in the afternoon hours than that on horizontal surface. But on the west-facing slope, it is higher at all hours than that on horizontal surface. In the two cases, the temperature considering the slope of surface is almost higher than that on the horizontal surface. The wind is stronger than that on the horizontal surface with increasing pressure gradient force according as increasing temperature gradient around the Taeback and the Soback mountains.
