Educational Program Development for Entrepreneurship and Venture Management (기업가정신 및 벤처경영에 관한 교육과정개발)

  • Inspire of increasing importance of entrepreneurs for successful new venture creation, structured educational programs for entrepreneur development are very limited in Korea. Based on the survey of existing academic programs and interviews with entrepreneurs, this study presents a new education system for entrepreneurial management and new venture creation. Specifically, seven venture educational programs are suggested. As degree programs, ⅰ) new venture interdisciplinary program and ⅱ) venture MBA program are presented. Also, ⅲ) advanced venture management program, ⅳ) venture capitalist training program, and ⅴ) potential entrepreneur training program are suggested as non-degree programs. In addition, special and supporting programs such as ⅵ) technological entrepreneurship seminar and vii) new venture forum are explained. Finally, some examples of typical entrepreneurial management courses are presented and policy implications are suggested.

  • According to development of electronic commerce, the university's curriculums related electronic commerce should be renewed and added some chapters. I researched on university curriculums of electronic commerce, which has required by enterprise. In particular, the electronic commerce consist of two parts; IT technology and business management. Therefore it is regarded as a convergence subject. I did a correlation analysis between management's performance of enterprise and importance of university curriculum on electronic commerce. The questionnaire includes demands of enterprise and e-business model on electronic commerce. The result of this research indicates a necessary of changing by correlation ratio. Based on this research result, I suggest extended curriculums for electronic commerce.

A Quality Control Model for Shared University in Service Era (서비스시대 공유대학 품질관리모델 연구)

  • This study suggests a way to implement shared economic model of educational service in service era. As most shared economic models are innovating high-cost, low-quality structures in existing economies, there is a need for innovation models that improve high-cost low-quality structures to high-quality, low-cost structures in education services. Especially, since higher education and lifelong education are in urgent need of innovation, this study studied shared university model focused on higher education and lifelong education. In order to provide educational services at low cost and high quality, it is necessary to use idle resources, so it is necessary to introduce a shared economic model. Shared universities require a more efficient and effective supplier quality control, as the existing limited supplier group become widespread. Normative quality control is also needed to cultivate students as competent talent. In addition, in order to provide high-quality higher education services at a low cost, it is necessary to base the process quality management using advanced science and technology. Therefore, educational service quality management is a process of quality control that is well-balanced in terms of suppliers, customers, and processes.

  • 사업장의 자율적인 안전보건경영체제를 구축할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 한국산업안전공단과 안전관리부가 주관이 되어 관련 교육과 기술지원을 실시하고 그 결과를 객관적으로 평가하여 일정기준 이상 도달되었을 때 [건설업 KOSHA 2000 프로그램] 인증을 획득하고 안전보건 경영체제를 지속적으로 유지하기 위해 사후 지원하도록 한 프로그램이다. 그 추진배경으로는 기존 안전보건 활동의 한계성, 재해율 절감의 한계성, 새로운 시스템 즉 자율적, 능동적 시스템의 도입 필요, 체계적, 합리적, 유기적인 관계 선상에서 관리 필요 등이다.(중략)

A Study on Performance Measurement of Generational Diversity Company using Balanced Scorecard (BSC): The case of Japanese Companies (균형성과평가(BSC)모델을 활용한 청년·고령자 고용상생기업의 경영성과측정 -일본의 사례분석을 중심으로-)

  • This study aims at analyzing the management strategy and performance of companies that have been pursuing Generational Diversity. The management strategies were examined in terms of production, organizational structure and skill development. Performance was then evaluated using Balanced Scorecard (BSC). We selected four Japanese companies that practice Generational Diversity between the younger(age less then 34) and older generation(age older then 65). Our findings suggest the following. The common management strategies of the four companies include 1) creating generation-diverse teams 2) ensuring flexible work arrangements and 3) providing skill training programs. These strategies have yield positive outcomes such as sales increase, cost reduction (financial perspective) and expansion of the market share (customer perspective). Non-financial performance includes improvement of product and service quality (internal business perspective) and skill improvement of both the young and the old workers (learning and growth perspective). This study provides practical implications to domestic companies for their successful management of generational diversity in workplace.

유비쿼터스 환경하에서 지식정보자원의 활용방안 분석;부산지역 시민들을 대상으로

  • 이 연구는 공공부문이 구축/관리중인 지식정보자원의 시민활용 실태를 점검하고 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원의 시민활용성 제고방안 모색을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 부산광역시의 시민 200 명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도/활용도/활용장애요인과 유비쿼터스 기술에 대한 인지도/활용도/유용성을 조사하였고, 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 공공행정, 교육학술, 사회문화/복지, 생활경제 등 4 대부문 16 개분야 32 개의 지식정보자원에 대한 시민활용 의향을 분석하였다. 분석결과 지식정보자원에 대한 인지도와 활용도는 보통보다 낮은 수준에 있으며, 그 이유로는 개인정보유출에 대한 불안, 지식정보자원 소재에 대한 정보부족, 지식정보자원 활용 비용의 부담 및 활용의 불편 등으로 나타났다. 향후 유비쿼터스 기술을 활용한 지식정보자원 활용의향에 대해서는 실생활과 밀접한 관련을 갖고 있는 교통/기상정보, U-Care 및 U-Health 정보, 금융, 공연예술, 관광여가 등의 정보에 대해서는 높은 의향을 보이나, 실생활과 직접 관련이 적고 전문적인 능력이나 관심이 요구되는 행정정보공개, 정책참여, U-학술연구 등에 대해서는 낮은 의향을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

The Success Factors on Private-Public Technology Collaboration of SMEs (중소기업의 산·연 기술협력 성과 영향 요인)

  • This study aims at examining the relationship among entrepreneurial orientation, absorption capability, alliance capability and cooperation performance in technological cooperation between SMEs and government-funded R&D Institutes. For empirical analysis, the study conducted a survey on total 2,895 SMEs participating in the technological cooperation programs operated by government-funded R&D Institutes, and collected 332 survey responses. Data were analysed using a structural equation model. Empirical results show that entrepreneurial orientation, absorption capability, and alliance capability influenced the performance of technological cooperation. In addition, alliance capability has a significant effect on absorptive capacity. In order for the technology cooperation between SMEs and government-funded research institutes being successful, efforts are needed to secure companies' entrepreneurial orientation, absorption capability and alliance capability that has the capabilities that SMEs needs for technological cooperation.

  • (사)한국포장협회(회장 임경호)는 지난 2월 18일 '제32차 정기총회 및 포장인의 날'에 (사)한국포장협회 회장상을 이현철 (주)서일 기술연구소 소장에게 수여했다. 이현철 소장은 기술연구소를 설립, 국내 최초 식품 레토르트용 투명배리어필름 'Alox'의 개발을 주도하고 과감한 투자와 적극적인 사내외 교육 활용 등으로 기업 성장에 있어서 중추적인 역할을 해왔다. 또한 한국포장협회 사업에 적극 참여하고 회원사의 젊은 경영진 중심 협업 및 협회 사업 동참 등을 도모하며 한국포장협회의 안정적 성장과 발전에 기여했다는 평가를 받아 제3회 (사)한국포장협회 회장상을 수상했다. 이현철 소장을 만나 기술연구소 설립 배경과 성과, 그리고 향후 계획에 대한 이야기를 들어보았다.

  • To develop railway industry's competitive, it is necessary to develop the high-quality manpower who will contribute to the public service and the railway business. To achieve this goal, it is required to create the new university curriculum focused on the railway engineering. In near future, it must be required to secure the high-quality railway engineers for. improving and developing its technologies. The purpose of this research is that improving competitive in the railway industry by developing new curriculum for the railway engineers.

A Study of the Factors Influencing the Staff Members' Recognition of the Level of Ethical Management in the Elderly Welfare Institutions (노인복지기관 종사자의 윤리경영수준 인식에 대한 영향 요인 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of staffs' general characteristics and institutional characteristics on the staff members' recognition of the level of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions and to provide basic materials for raising standard of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions. For this purpose, we conducted a questionnaire survey using structured self-filling-type questionnaires for 245 staffs of elderly welfare institutions in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. This study sets general characteristics of staffs and institutional characteristics as the independent variables and the staff members' recognition of the level of ethical management as the dependent variable. The variables are investigated through the descriptive statistics such as frequency, percentage and average analysis, and the difference of effect on the staff members' recognition of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions by each independent variable was analysed by t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. The results of the study shows that in terms of general characteristics of staffs, the higher male to female ratio and the higher educational level; and in institutional characteristics, the less experience in basic ethics education and the better ethical working environment of the institution are the positive factors for that the staff members estimate the level of ethical management of their workplace high. Based on these results, for making staff members recognize the level of ethical management in the elderly welfare institutions higher, we should create actual atmosphere of the ethical working environment in the institution and implement not formal but step-by-step intensive ethics education that make employees can apply it in the real situations. In conclusion, this study gives the practical suggestions for improving the staff members' recognition of ethical management level in the practice field of elderly welfare on the fast-changing trends including downsizing and privatization.
