보사부가 지난 3월13일 $\ulcorner$의료법 시행규칙 개정령 $\cdot$을 공포하고 의원에 종사하고 있는 무자격자 단속에 나선 처사에 대해 서울시 의사회 의무이사로 있는 최명삼 씨는 간호원에 대한 일방적이고 부당한 소론을 보건신보 6월26일자에 공개했다. 이에 대해 본회에서는 분개한 나머지 합법적이고 구체적인 내용으로 그 반박문을 보건신보 7월6일자에 발표, 그의 부당한 논리를 시정한 바 있다. 여기 최명삼씨의 $\ulcorner$무자격간호원 정비문제$\lrcorner$라는 제목의 기사와 본회 신수복 총무의 반박문을 그대로 전, 독자들의 올바른 자세와 인식을 촉구하는 바이다.

일본에서는 계란내 콜레스테롤에 대한 잘못된 인식을 바로잡고 계란 소비를 높이기 위해 지난 2005년부터 매년 저명한 인사를 초청하여 전국을 순회하면서 포럼을 실시하고 있다. 이러한 행사는 생산자(일본계란생산자협회)들이 직접 나서 적극 추진하고 있는데 올해로 6번째를 맞이하였다. 일본의 1인당 계란소비량은 345개로 전 세계에서 가장 많이 섭취하는 나라 중의 하나이다. 따라서 일본에서 계란소비를 높이기 위해 노력하고 있는 현장을 담아 기사내용을 발췌, 번역하여 소개코자 한다. 우리나라도 산란계자조금이 시작되고 있기 때문에 언젠가는 이러한 포럼을 통해 채란업 발전을 기대해 볼 수 있었으면 한다.

호황기에 정기선업계가 미처 생각하지 못했던 북미 서안항만의 혼란은 어디에서 비롯된 것일까? 로스엔젤리스(LA)·롱비치(LB)항의 피크(peak)시 80척 이상의 체선현상도 12월 중순에는 거의 해소됐다. 그러나 항만 노동력의 부족, 환경 문제, LA·LB 양 항만으로의 과도한 집중, 대체항의 부족 등의 많은 문제들이 가로놓여 있는 상태이다. 일본해사신문 편집부 기자가 LA·LB 등 미 서안지역을 직접 방문하여 혼란스런 미국의 관문(gateway)을 둘러보았다. 다음은 일본해사신문이 5회에 걸쳐 게재한 기사내용을 정리한 것이다.(편집자 주)

본 논문에서는 대학의 교양 및 전공 수업에서 4차 산업혁명의 시사적 내용을 이해하기 위하여 최신 ICT 기술, 서비스, 산업 등과 관련된 뉴스 및 신문 기사를 활용한 교육 모델을 제시한다. 교육 모델에서는 다양한 뉴스 신문 기사를 서로 비교하면서 보기 위하여 e-NIE(electronic news in education)와 전 세계 교육용 SNS인 Edmodo 콘텐츠 활용 방법을 소개한다. 수강생들을 실험집단으로 설정하여 수강 전과 후의 정성적 효과를 분석한 결과, 대학에서의 뉴스 신문 활용 강좌의 필요성에 대하여 크게 동감하였다(5점 척도의 점수가 14.9% 향상).

At the recent 19th General Election, Korean papers waged a surrogate war for the parties they share ideology with. All the conventional practices remained the same - the horse race-like presentations, furthering of confrontations, disregarding policy issues, allocating larger space for commentaries and negative issues, and etc. On top of these, papers began to focus on generational conflicts and individuals at the center of widespread attention and controversies, as a new trend. Photo images are largely used in the commentaries and articles dealing with confrontational or controversial situations. Of course, while the visual images seem to reinforce the emotional appeal of the messages papers try to get across, the potential problems need be noticed that could rise when irrelevant images are used.

In order to respond to the public needs to utilize the newspapers as high-valued information resources, the number of the commercially available news items which are transformed into a form of database has been remarkably increased by the introduction of CTS into the newspaper companies. As for the domestically available Japanese and foreign newspaper article database, explanations are given to the following items. 1) Characteristics of database, such as date of coverage, frequency updating, time-lag, news sources, search terms, available information, etc. 2) Matters to be noticed at the utilization. 3) Pattern of utilization depending on the object of the investigation, such as the investigation of company, market trend, etc. Since the newspaper article database will be available in a form of digitized information, making the combination with the inter-company LAN system possible, increased opportunities to use it in near future are expected.

웹 뉴스 기사는 태풍과 같은 재해 발생상황에 대한 신속하고 정확한 정보를 포함하고 있다. 예를 들어, 태풍의 발생시점, 이동·예측경로, 피해·사고 현황 등 유용한 정보를 텍스트, 이미지, 동영상의 형태로 관련 상황정보를 전달한다. 그러나 대부분의 재해재난 관련 뉴스 기사는 특정 시점의 정보만을 웹페이지 형태로 제공하므로, 시계열 측면의 연결성을 지니는 기사들에 대한 정보를 전달하기 어렵다. 또한 시간적 변화에 따라 기사 내용에 포함된 장소, 지역, 건물 등의 지명에 대한 공간적 정보를 지도와 연계하여 정보를 전달하는데 한계가 있어, 시공간적 변화에 따른 특정 재해재난 상황정보에 대한 전체적인 현황파악이 어렵다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 데이터 시각화 측면에서 이러한 한계를 극복하기 위해, 1) 웹크롤링을 통해 구축된 뉴스 빅데이터를 자연어 처리를 통해 태풍과 관련된 뉴스 기사들을 추출하였고, 2) 시공간적 관련 정보를 지식그래프로 구축하였고, 이를 통해 최근 발생한 태풍 사건들과 관련된 뉴스 정보를 시계열 특성을 고려하여 3) 인터렉티브 지도 기반의 태풍 상황정보를 시각화하는 방안을 연구하였다.

This study examined the effect of media and personal frames on readers' attitude towards newspaper articles and on their perceived fairness. Study 1 examined the frame effects with the issue of the Candlelit Protest in 2008 and Study 2 did with the issue of the Four Major Rivers Restoration Project. Results indicated that in both studies two frames had main effects on readers' attitude and yet their interaction was not significant. In both studies, effects of personal frame were partially significant on the perceived fairness of the article, but main effects of media frame and interaction effects between two frames were not significant. These findings demonstrated that readers' attitude towards newspaper articles and on their perceived fairness would be influenced by their headlines and their source along with their content.

This paper aimed to grasp what the percentage in the types of news stories on the online broadcast is, which was conducted by analyzing the news stories of 9 broadcasting websites on the Naver newsstand. For the analysis, a total of 270 days' samples were selected, including 30 days per broadcast on 9 broadcasting websites. For a method of analysis, One-way ANOVA was used to examine the difference among broadcasting websites. The analysis was made centering with priorities given to the type of news stories by the composition of language, the type of genre as a standard of stories, and so on. As a result of analysis, all the programs in the off-line broadcast have been produced and transmitted as a video-typed story, but a half of those in on-line broadcast have been made up of the stories composed of photo and text. The online newspaper has been producing a new type of news' story using video-typed story or computer graphic while the online broadcast has actively been utilizing stories composed of photos and text, which are types of newspaper's stories. From above-mentioned results, it can be understood that the boundary among media is getting more and more indistinct on the environment of online media, showing the phenomenon that the type of broadcast's stories is becoming old-fashioned.

텍스트 마이닝(Text Mining)이란 텍스트형태의 문서들의 패턴 또는 관계를 추출하여 사용자가 원하는 새로운 정보를 가공하거나 기존의 정보를 변형하는 과정을 말한다. 텍스트 마이닝의 기능에는 문서 범주화(Document Categorization), 문서 군집화(Document Clustering), 그리고 문서 요약(Document Summarization)이 이에 해당된다. 문서 범주화란 문서에게 사전에 정의한 범주를 부여하는 과정을 말하고, 문서 군집화란 문서들을 계층적 구조로 형성하는 과정을 말하고, 문서 요약이란 문서의 전체 내용을 대표할 수 있는 내용의 일부만을 추출하는 과정을 말한다. 이 논문에서는 문서 범주화만을 다룰 것이며 그 대상으로는 신문기사로 설정하였다. 그의 범주는 4가지로 정치, 경제, 스포츠, 그리고 정보통신으로 설정하였다. 문서 범주화는 문서 분류(Document Classification)라고도 하며 문서에 범주를 자동으로 부여하여 기존에 인위적으로 부여함으로써 소요되는 시간과 비용을 절감하는 것이 목적이다. 문서 범주화에 대하여 k-NN(k-Nearest Neighbor)와 신경망을 이용하였으며, 신경망을 이용한 경우가 k-NN을 이용한 경우보다 성능이 우수하였다.
