  • In this paper, we research the method for write quality improvement by temperature characteristic of Laser diode for optical recording. Differential Resistance of Blu-ray laser diode is changed by temperature. We analyze the effect of the change of the differential resistance and propose the method for the write quality improvement.

Quality Attributes of Archival Information Service affecting User Satisfaction (이용자 만족도에 영향을 주는 기록정보서비스 품질 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of the present study is to investigate the quality attributes of archival information service affecting user satisfaction. The independent variables in this study were equality, tangibles(appearance), convenience, responsiveness, empathy. And the dependent variable was a user satisfaction. The survey was conducted by online and offline for 78 people that used the archival information service. To solve the research question, we used the descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis. As a correlation analysis result, the quality attributes of archival information service had positive correlation with a user satisfaction. And as a multiple regression analysis result, tangibles(appearance) had a significant effect, followed by empathy and convenience. For improving on quality of archival information service, it is required that improving facilities, keeping environment clean, enhancing empathy ability, updating the information of archive, reforming search tools.

A Study on Evaluation of Service Quality for Records Centers in the Local Governments: Based on Seoul Metropolitan City (기초자치단체 기록관의 서비스 품질 평가 연구 - 서울시를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure the expectation level and perception level of service quality in 25 records centers in local governments based in Seoul. For this, an evaluation index consisting of 5 factors and 31 items is developed through literature research and an investigation of the present condition. The results of this study confirmed that users are not satisfied with the service quality of the records centers in the local governments as the expectation level is higher than the perception level, with a statistically significant difference. This study can be substantial in attempts to analyze the present status of the service quality of the records centers in local governments and in proposing an improvement plan based on the process quality.

  • In the digital information environment records have an even closer relationship with business processes and become a core element of organizations' managerial activities. In practice, management is represented as congregation of business outcomes. The importance of records management is increasingly emphasized in terms of organizations' compliance, knowledge-management and risk management. However, there is currently no academic discussion on a between records management and managerial activities. In this context, the study has the notion that this should be defined and acknowledged for public institutions' effective records management. Based on the Malcolm Baldrige Model and ISO 15489, the study discusses a close between records management and management quality. The records management elements of the Malcolm Baldrige model and the managerial quality elements of ISO 15489 were analyzed. Based on the analysis, both common and neglected elements were explored in terms of records management.

Test Set Construction for Quality Evaluation of NAK Portal's Search Service and the Status Analysis (국가기록포털 검색서비스 품질 점검을 위한 평가셋 구축 및 현황 분석)

  • The ultimate record management's purpose is preservation and utilization. However, the National Archives of Korea (NAK)s Portal has problems such as search system aging and search tools dualization. As a result, the users' search satisfaction is not satisfied, and the improvement demand increases. This study aimed to evaluate the NAK's search quality as a preliminary study for NAK search system advancement. To this end, we analyzed the current status of CAMS and NAK's Portal. Then, we established the test sets and evaluated the NAK's Portal quality from the user's point of view. Evaluation results were analyzed using Precision, Recall, F-score, and MRR. The analysis results showed that the overall search performance was low, particularly in the "advanced subject search," which showed low performance in Precision, Recall, and MRR. Thus, improvement is urgently needed. The test sets established for this study are expected to be used as a basis for objectively measuring the improvement of the search performance after the NAK search system advancement.

  • 광디스크를 재생 및 기록 가능한 기기는 그동안 IT에 용이한 컴퓨터 중심의 ODD(Optical Disc Drive)를 기반으로 급속히 발전해 오고 있었으나, 홈 엔터테인먼트의 발전과 이에 대한 관심의 증폭으로 AV용의 레코더가 2000년대에 등장하게 되었다. AV용 DVD 레코더의 경우 PC용 ODD에 비해 소음 및 세트 내부 온도 등 환경의 영향을 많이 받고, 여러 규격들을 만족해야 하기 때문에 구현에 많은 어려움과 제약이 따른다. 그리고 DVD 레코더는 방송 등을 스트림 기록해야 하므로 기록 신뢰성에 더욱 엄격함을 요구한다. 이에 기록 품질에 관련된 중요 Factor들이 존재하게 된다.

  • As it grows more heavily reliant on information system, researchers seek for various ways to manage and utilize of dataset records which is accumulated in public information system. It might be needed to adjust date and enhance the quality of public administrative dataset records during transferring to archive system or sharing server. The purpose of this paper is presenting data adjustment and quality enhancement methods for public administrative dataset records, and it refers to ETT procedure and method of construction of datawarehouses. It suggests seven typical examples and processing method of data adjustment and quality enhancement, which are (1) verification of quantity and data domain (2) code conversion for a consistent code value (3) making component with combinded information (4) making a decision of precision of date data (5) standardization of data (6) comment information about code value (7) capturing of metadata. It should be reviewed during dataset record transfer. This paper made Data adjustment and quality enhancement requirements for dataset record transfer, and it could be used as data quality requirement of administrative information system which produces dataset.

Construction of Pilot System to Improve Search Quality in National Archives of Korea Portal and Effects Validation (국가기록포털 검색 품질 개선을 위한 파일럿 시스템 구축 및 실효성 검증)

  • The National Archives of Korea (NAK) operates the NAK Portal as a record search system. However, user search satisfaction is too low, and the number of visitors to the portal is gradually decreasing. This study identifies the portal's issues, proposes feasible improvements, and constructs a pilot system to validate the solutions. The preliminary assessment revealed six major issues, such as poor search tool performance and the lack of consistency in search results. After clarifying the improvement measures, a pilot system was established and compared with the National Records Portal. The evaluation showed significant performance improvements in the pilot system, such as Precision, Recall, and Mean Reciprocal Rank (MRR).

A Study on the User Satisfaction of Records and Information Management System in Construction (건설 기록정보관리시스템 이용만족도에 관한 연구)

  • To be able to present authenticity, or to cope with patent related cases or any possible law suite for intellectual. The purpose of this study was to investigate factors affecting the satisfaction of records and information management system on the construction industry. Data was collected through a survey of 129 employees who work for A engineering company. Independent variables in this study included system quality, information quality, and service quality. Latent variable was selected as easy of use and usefulness. Dependent variable was user's satisfaction for the system. The results of analysis of structural equation modeling showed that system quality was found to have both direct and indirect impacts on user's satisfaction. On the other hand, information quality was significant only in direct impact on ease of use. Service quality was not statistically significant in the effect on user's satisfaction.

승선실습 품질 제고를 위한 IMO 논의동향 및 디지털 시대 효과적인 승선실습 시행 방안 개발에 관한 연구

  • 최초 해기면허 발급을 위해 필수적인 의무승선실습의 품질향상을 도모하고자 국제사회에서 다양한 방안이 모색되고 있다. 특히, 2022년 2월 개최된 IMO 제8차 인적요인, 훈련 및 당직 전문위원회(HTW)의 주요의제 중 승선실습 품질관련으로 제출된 6개 의제문서들이 중점적으로 논의되었다. 우리나라, 필리핀 및 일본 등 주요 회원국은 승선실습 품질 제고를 위한 승선실습/육상훈련의 체계적인 재분배, 훈련기록부 효율성 향상, 승선실습 품질표준 관련 지침 개발 등 다양한 방안을 제시하였다. 더욱이, 향후 심화 논의를 위한 회기간 실무작업반 개설이 승인된 바 있다. 한편, 최근 디지털 시대에 걸맞는 효과적인 승선실습 시행 방안 마련을 위한 움직임이 활발해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 승선실습 품질 제고를 위한 IMO 논의동향을 살펴보고 디지털 시대의 효과적인 승선실습 시행방안을 소개하고자 한다.
