Archives of Government-Affiliated Organizations have responsibility for collecting and preserving valuable records produced during the business processes of their work and for actively serving users at the same time. This study applied Quality Function Deployment(QFD) techniques to analyzing user's actual requirements and proposing improvements for the archives service quality of central government agencies. In order to derive the components of the QFD, a survey was conducted among internal users of records centers in six central government agencies, as well as a literature study and interviews with working-level records researcher were also conducted. Afterwards, The House of Quality(HoQ) was constructed based on the user's requirements and technical characteristics derived, and the importance and priority of the recorder service technical characteristics were derived based on it. Based on the results, archives service of central government agencies should focus on improving the usability of records for internal user. Especially, it was confirm that the support for searching, reading and borrowing services should be strengthened.

As the web service technology matures. research is focused on the composite web services that combine individual web services within an enterprise or between enterprises. Quality of service is the critical competitiveness factor in this mature technology stage where there are many services with similar functionalities differing only in some non-functional properties. Monitoring is the key component for the service quality management of a web service. A service quality monitoring system design using a broker is presented in this paper. OWL-S is used to specify the composite service process and a service policy (inputs and outputs of each service, quality attributes and values, etc.) built by WS-Policy is applied to the composite service process. If there is any discrepancy between the service policy and the monitored data, the service provider and the user are notified of it so as to take necessary measures. We have implemented a travel reservation system as an example of the presented design and the experimental results are shown. Average response time was monitored and the timeout policy was applied in the experiment.

We analyzed the technology portfolio matrix for the car navigation technology using QFD method and accordingly suggested the navigation technology development direction. QFD is a useful tool to analyze the customer demands and the technologies. Depending on the survey results from the latent customers and the technology capabilities from the study of the national institutions, we suggested technology portfolio matrix. The visual HMI technology, safe driving support technology, and the navigator information management technology are the most prospective area for R&D investment according to the portfolio matrix.

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the quality of digital libraries which Korean society has built with. To the end, first discussed is the operational definition of digital library, which has a variety of meanings and definitions. For the quality evaluation, 10 criteria were developed on the basis of both literature review and user survey. Followed was a thorough investigation to identify the present status of digital library construction. Then, we selected the most representative digital libraries in Korea, and conducted the quality verification on the basis of previously developed 10 criteria. The conclusion includes both major causes of low quality and some strategies for improving the low quality of digital libraries at the national level.

Today's Internet does not have efficient traffic engineering mechanism to support QoS for the explosive increasing internet traffic such as various multimedia traffic. This functional shortage degrades prominently the quality of service, and makes it difficult to provide multi-media service and real-time service. Various technologies are under developed to solve these problems. IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) developed the MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) technology that provides a good capabilities of traffic engineering and is independent layer 2 protocol, so MPLS is expected to be used in the Internet backbone network$\^$[1][2]/. The faults occurring in high-speed network such as MPLS, may cause massive data loss and degrade quality of service. So fast network restoration function is essential requirement. Because MPLS is independent to layer 2 protocol, the fault detection and reporting mechanism for restoration should also be independent to layer 2 protocol. In this paper, we present the experimental results of the MPLS OAM function for the performance monitoring and fault detection 'll'&'ll' notification, localization in MPLS network, based on the OPNET network simulator

본 논문에서는 단상 thyristor 정류기 구조의 대전력 150KVA급의 mash seam 용접기에 용접 센터링등 여러 가지 용접 효율 향상을 위한 부가 장치를 포함한 용접장치 개발을 통한 용접품질 분석결과를 보이고 있다. 일반적으로 제철소에 사용되는 수10KVA급의 용접기들은 그동안 전량 수입에 의존하던 것을 공동연구를 통해서 국산화에 성공하였다. 본 시스템은 기존의 타사제품의 기능을 포함하여 용접 센터링 장치, 용접 전후단 의 크램핑기능, 선후행 코일의 선단부를 절단하는 shear ing 기능, 용접 휠높이 자동조절기능을 포함하였으며, 자체 설계된 대전력용 변압기, 대전력 절환용 thyristor 제어들을 포함한 용접기로써 기존의 타사제품에 비하여 기능적, 성능적으로 향상된 형태로써 용접 성능 검사에서도 양호한 결과 얻었다. 본 논문에서는 mash seam 용접기의 기본적인 기능설명과 개된 용접기를 기능별로 설명하고, 실용접 결과를 소개하여 향후 계획을 제시한다

본 논문에서는 대전력 150KVA급의 mash seam 용접기에 용접 센터링등 여러 가지 용접 효율 향상을 위한 부가 장치를 포함한 용접장치 개발을 통한 용접품질 분석결과를 보이고 있다. 일반적으로 제철소에 사용되는 수100KVA급의 용접기들은 그동안 전량 수입에 의존하던 것을 공동연구론 통해서 국산화에 성공하였다. 본 시스템은 기존의 타사제품의 기능을 포함하여 용접 센터링 장치, 용접 전후단의 크램핑기능, 선후행 코일의 선단부를 절단하는 shearing 기능, 용접 휠높이 자동조절기능을 포함하였으며, 자체 설계된 대전력용 변압기, 대전력 절환용 thyristor 제어들을 포함한 용접기로써 기존의 타사제품에 비하여 기능적, 성능적으로 향상된 형태로써 용접성능 검사에서도 양호한 결과 얻었다. 본 논문에서는 mash seam 용접기의 기본적인 기능설명과 개발된 용접기를 기능별로 설명하고, POSCO 현장적용 결과를 간략히 소개한다.

This study singled out 30 smart car features and surveyed 250 respondents. Assuming that the relationship between fulfillment of a feature or a customer need and the satisfaction with that feature is not necessarily linear, this study was conducted using Kano's method. Two devices, Timko Deviation(TD) and Kano Distribution Index(KDI), were devised to help evaluate resulting Kano table quantitatively. Previous research based on Kano's original framework showed the limit to the analysis of new or unfamiliar features: more than 85% of the features surveyed turned out to be either Attractive or Indifferent attributes. This study attempted a new empirical approach by applying customer experiences, price conditions, and customer self-stated importance. The results showed that customer experience of the surveyed features affected the overall satisfaction level, signifying that Kano's method should be conducted with care when analyzing emerging technologies such as smart cars. It is expected that this study would be utilized for better understanding of the perception and trends of customers regarding new technologies. This study also suggests a new approach to the analysis of customer requirements by providing price conditions.
