This paper presents the concept of dynamically reconfigurable space by introducing smart building components. Thanks to the advances in ubiquitous computing and ITC technology, we are able to expect, in the near future, the aspects of future buildings which may transform their appearance and states to perform specific functions. In other words, it is certain that the building space will actively reconfigure itself to accommodate user's needs once we acquire proper technologies. Based on the assumption that building components may not be transformed through the magical process, but change its physical states (e.g. transparency, illumination, display contents, etc.) and functions of embedded devices (e.g. audio, actuators, sensors, etc.), we can envision a dynamically reconfigurable smart space. In order to conceptualize such spaces, critical surveys have been conducted on current works of leading architects. When the room needs to be used as a specific function room, the components need to change theirs states or to behave in a certain manner to create an optimum environment. Our model defines the relationships and elements to describe the mechanism of reconfigurable space. We expect this model provides a conceptual guideline for developing a smart building components based on spatial service scenarios. Therefore, a future smart spaces implemented by integrating various technologies are not designed in deterministic manner, so that spatial functions are expanded without constrained by physical existence.

Architectural drawing has been changing from the general notion, in which it is to predict what it may be like for purely practical purpose. Particularly amongst the Deconstructivists' work, graphic elements make a great contribution to the realization of their self expressive style. Whereas these are often chosen for solely aesthetic reasons, there are some cases in which the act of drawing itself is a crucial, investigative process. This is true of Daniel Libeskind's architectural drawing. For him, Typography seems to be characteristic of his drawing. He Harness typographic elements as metaphors for hid abstract symbolism through his architectural drawings, which retain the possibility to relate to the more radical typographic approaches. Within this context, this thesis will argue how the typographic elements in Daniel Libeskind's architectural drawings can be interpreted. What interconnection can be made between the two practices\ulcorner How can these elements be incorporated into architecture\ulcorner Can they be involved in it as a main constituent\ulcorner This thesis explores diverse possibilities of interpretation of his architectural drawing through typological approaches to the cases where type itself meets the different media and signific ation is given to the other typographic elements.

우리나라 주거양식의 근대화는 단순히 전통한옥에서 현대의 주택, 아파트로의 교체가 아니라 일련의 연속적인 변화과정 속에서 시대를 살아온 사람들의 생활양식과 문화를 담고 있다고 볼 수 있다. '주택이란 삶을 담는 그릇'이라는 표현에서 볼 수 있듯이 주택이란 거주자의 가치관을 포함한 주생활양식과의 대응 속에서 주거환경의 질적 향상이 이루어질 수 있다. 따라서 주거양식의 변화에 관한 연구 또한 이러한 삶과 문화에 대응하는 방향으로 이루어져야 바람직할 것이다. 이상의 배경 하에 과거 전통주택에서부터 근대화 이후의 여러 주택유형에 이르기까지 다양한 유형을 포함한 우리 나라 주택이 가지는 공간구조의 변천을 시대적으로 조망하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여, 전통사회의 양반주택, 도시형한옥, 표준주택, 일반단독주택, 작가주택, 아파트에 이르는 다양한 주택유형을 포함하여 총 104개의 주택평면을 대상으로 공간구조의 변화에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 다양한 주택유형들이 보여주는 공간구조와 그 통시적 변화를 객관적이고 계량적인 방법론을 이용하여 관찰하고자 공간구문론의 분석방법을 이용하여 주택형식에 따른 기능적 형상학을 뛰어넘는 사회학적 형태학의 관점에서 우리나라 주거의 변천과정을 고찰하고자 한다. 상기한 바와 같이 개개의 주택형식에 대한 고려보다는 시대적 상황과 배경을 설명해주는데 용이한 대상을 중심으로 전반적인 변화의 양상과 그러한 변화에 내재한 사회적 동인과 배경을 파악하고 이해하고자 하였다.

The existing construction industry is classified into industries with low productivity compared to other industries. In order to solve the decline in productivity in the construction industry, the world is focusing on off-site construction (OSC), which is about 40% more productive than existing construction methods. This high productivity is possible because the three stages of production, transport to the site, and site assembly are consistently maintained in a continuous flow. This study conducted a functional survey through literature review, preliminary field survey, questionnaire, and expert interview. The surveyed function were classified into five categories: convenience, flexibility, manageability, communication, and safety, and the functional characteristics of flexibility, manageability, and communication were high. Because of the change according to the construction progress, the production schedule of the factory, and the variety of transportation time required. Finally, A functional block diagram was developed based on the 15 functions corresponding with an average score of 4 or more in the surveyed function score result. If the OSC transport system is established through this study, It can contribute to a successful construction OSC project and increase productivity.

본 논문은 일본의 전국 해항도시를 대상으로 연안을 둘러싼 시대적 흐름을 고찰하고 해역이용에 따른 해양건축물의 변천과정에 비교 분석한 연구이다. 본 논문에서는 해항도시에서 해양건축물을 조성하게된 경위나 성립요인에서부터 사회적 요구변화에 따른 기능 용도 변천과정을 정리하여 실태를 파악하고 시사점을 도출하였다. 최근 우리나라에서도 해항도시의 바다를 이용한 다양한 건축물들이 조성되고 있어

어촌은 바다, 섬, 자연경관, 해양레저, 수산자원 등의 다양한 해양 관광자원을 보유하고 있어 성장 잠재력이 풍부하나, 이를 통해 성장할 수 있는 기본적 인프라 및 콘텐츠가 절대적으로 부족한 실정이다. 또한 수산업 침체와 어촌인구 감소 및 고령화로 어촌 공동화 현상이 심화되고 있으며, 정주환경 저하 등 삶의 질 전반에 걸쳐 낙후된 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 어촌마을의 자원활용과 자원 간의 연계를 촉진시킴과 동시에 정주기능, 생산기능의 활성화를 도모할 수 있는 소득증대 방안을 마련하고자 함

수상공간의 적극적인 활용방법의 하나로 수상에 부유하고 있는 플로팅 건축물에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있으며 다양한 복합공간으로 사용되는 사례가 늘어가고 있다. 하지만 기능, 용도 및 형태에 있어 일반건축물과 유사하며 입지 및 구조적 특성에 있어서는 선박과 유사한 플로팅 건축물의 특성을 고려한 방재 및 피난 기준이 전무한 실정이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 플로팅 건축물의 건축적 특성과 선박적 특성을 고려하여 플로팅 건축물에서 발생 가능한 재해를 예측하고 이에 따른 플로팅 건축물의 방재 및 피난 특성을 분석하여 플로팅 건축물에 적합한 방재 및 피난계획 특성을 도출하였다.

국내 건축설계분야는 건설산업의 성장과 함께 양적인 팽창을 하였으나 질적인 문제에 있어서의 국제적인 경쟁력은 낮은 수준에 머물고 있다. 왜곡된 발주 시스템은 능력있는 건축사의 시장참여를 원척적으로 차단하고 있으며, 아직도 많은 설계도서가 하청을 통해 생산되고 있고, 각 분야 간의 느슨한 협업시스템으로 인해 검토되지 않은 설계도서들이 현장에서 설계도면간의 불일치나 비기능적, 비경제적인 설계를 초래함으로서 결과적으로 건설산업 전체의 경쟁력을 약화시키는 원인을 제공하고 있다. 시공업체 중심으로 고착화 되어있는 국내 건설산업의 특성도 설계나 엔지니어링업계의 발전을 저해하는 장애요인이라 할 수 있다. 이로 인해 국가 건설정책의 초점은 시공분야에 맞추어져 있고, 창조성을 바탕으로 한 고부가가치 산업인 설계나 엔지니어링 분야는 상대적으로 위축되는 상황을 초래하고 있다. 이러한 건설산업의 구도가 지속될 경우, 종국에는 설계나 엔지니어링업체가 시공업체에 종속되어 우리나라 설계분야의 전문화 및 설계 경쟁력은 상실되고 말 것이다. 대한건축사협회는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 2006년 '건축설계업 발전 종합방안 연구'를 추진하기도 하였다. 필자는 국내 건설·건축산업에 대한 거시적인 관점에서 이러한 문제점에 대한 해결방안을 제안하기 보다는 건축설계분야의 문제점 즉, 설계경쟁력 약화, 느슨한 협업시스템 그리고 이에 따른 건축설계품질의 저하를 다른 관점에서 바라보고자 한다.

일반적인 건축물의 설계 프로세스와 달리 플로팅건축은 수해양공간이라는 특수한 외부환경인자의 증가와 함께, 정보전달 및 의사결정을 위한 협업의 주체가 증가하는 특성을 가진다. 이에 본 연구에서는 플로팅건축의 기능적 요구사항을 단계별, 협업의 주체별로 분석하고, 협업 및 의사결정흐름의 관점에서 플로팅건축 설계단계에서의 프로세스를 작성하였다.

In this paper, we investigated the performance of synthetic graphene oxide-functionalized carbon nanotubes (GF) to promote cement hydration and increase the mechanical properties of cement paste. The enhancement effect of GF on the various properties of cement paste was evaluated via the mechanical strength, X-ray diffraction, and heat of hydration of cement paste. The results clearly showed that GF incorporation into cement paste promotes the early hydration of cement paste, generates more hydration products, which results in the mechanical improvement of cement paste. The compressive and splitting tensile strength were increased by 32.17% and 17.31%, respectively, compared to ordinary Portland cement at 28 days of hydration.
