This paper investigated spring/summer fabric trends of women's and analyzed the correlation between the fabric trends and finishing for 10 years (1995 S/S-2004 S/S). Fabric trend terms were selected from 5 fashion journals and were grouped by hierarchical cluster analysis using SPSS 12.0 statistical package. Also, finishing terms were selected and analyzed by frequency. The results showed that 13 representative fabric trend terms were clean, functional, lustrous, compact, rubbery, comfortable, chic, romantic, decorative, natural, fluid, textured, and ethnic trend. In terms of fabric finishing, 12 representative finishing were selected such as coating, calendaring, wrinkle finishing, decorative finishing, quilting, and washing. Finally, in respect of the analysis of fabric trends and finishing, washing and embroidery were used to represent ethnic trends and textured fabric was closely correlated wrinkle and decorative finishing. Fluid fabrics were expressed via wrinkle and coating and washing and wrinkle were used for natural feeling. Decorative fabric was expressed by embroidery and coating and decorative finishing were frequently used to show romantic and chic fabric. Also comfortable fabrics were correlated with easy care and rubbery, compact, lustrous, and clean fabrics were correlated with coating.

사회가 발달하여 감성사회로 접어들면서, 섬유산업도 새로운 감성소재를 개발하기 위한 연구를 추구하고 있다. 이러한 분야의 연구수단으로 생체모방(Biomimetics)을 활용하는 연구개발이 활발히 진행되고 있는데, 이중 미래지향적인 차세대 섬유로 Morphotex(R)를 이용한 Morpho 직물이 있다. 감성소재분야에서 '구조발색섬유'라고 불리어지는 독특한 색미를 가진 섬유소재인 Morphotex$^{(R)}$는 남미의 MORPHO 나비 날개의 구조적 발색원리를 모방하여 만든 광발색섬유로 염료와 안료를 사용하지 않는 친환경섬유이면서 고기능성과 쾌적성을 겸비한 소재로 요즘 많은 각광을 받고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구조발색 소재를 이용하여 제직한 감성의류소재 직물의 감량조건에 따른 감성특성을 비교.분석해보았다. 먼저 구조발색 소재로 제직 된 직물의 감량공정특성에 따른 구조발색 소재 직물의 인장 인열 특성을 분석하였으며 또한 KES-FB system으로 구조발색 소재 직물의 역학특성을 측정하고 측정한 역학특성으로부터 감성태를 평가해 보았다.

본 연구에서는 기능성 의류소재로서 나노캡슐화 상전이 물질 처리 직물의 적합성을 평가를 위한 기초자료를 제시하고자 직물의 역학적 특성과 촉감 감성과의 관계에 대해 분석하였다. 분석결과, 면직물과 폴리에스테르직물에 모두 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 최대 하중시의 신장성, 전단강성, 표면마찰계수, 인장선형성, 두께 총 5가지로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 역학적 특성이 면직물과 폴리에스테르직물의 촉감 감성을 예측할 수 있는지 확인하기 위한 회귀분석 결과 두 직물 모두 R2가 0.7이상으로 예측력이 높게 나타난 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

의류용 소재로 이용되어왔던 견을 다른 응용소재로서 이용하기 위한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 특히, 견피브로인 단백질의 우수한 생체친화성, 흡습성, 자외선 차단력, 알코올대사촉진, 혈중콜레스테롤ㆍ혈당량저하 등의 기능성을 이용하여 생체재료로서 응용하기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. [1] 이러한 응용소재를 개발하기 위해서는 재생견피브로인의 제조조건에 따른 구조와 형태변화를 고려해야 하는 데 일반적으로 견피브로인을 산, 알칼리, 염, 효소처리 등에 의해 분자쇄절단이나 분자간 수소결합의 절단에 의해서 용해시킨 후 이를 js조, 방사 또는 다른 물질들과의 혼합을 통해서 재생용액, 분말, 필름, 겔, 섬유상등의 다양한 형태로 성형화할 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to examine the university students' awareness and attitudes on functional clothing materials, and to explore the effects of subjects' characteristics on the relationship between their attitudes to and images of the functional clothing materials. A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to university students and 409 of which were used in data analysis. The data were statistically analyzed by frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, t-test, ANOVA. The results were as follows: students thought that the first and foremost 'function' of functional clothing materials is their light-weight. The functions that consumers practically demanded are water-repellency and high absorbency & quick drying. It showed that students have an image that functional clothing materials have special, good and satisfactory qualities. Goretex and Coolmax were the most selected as brands of functional clothing materials which students knew. Attitudes to functional clothing materials revealed positively in the cognitive, behavioral and affectional attitudes. The attitudes had no significant differences according to sex and their major, but they had significant differences by subjects' amount of allowance, frequency of sports participation and sports ability. In other words, the more amount of allowance they get, the more frequently students do exercise, and the higher sports ability they have, the more positive attitude they have. The study says, in conclusion, that their conception of functional clothing materials has positive relations with their attitudes toward them.

The volume of the functional clothing market is gradually growing in Korea. This study intended to identify the relationship among benefits sought in clothing, well-being health consciousness, age, and purchase intention of functional clothing. A survey data was collected from 380 male ranging from 20 to 59 years old and was analyzed SPSS 17.0. As a result, six clothing benefit factors were identified and labeled as attraction improvement, social position, figure flaw compensation, individuality, comfort, and economy. The influences of benefits sought in clothing on the purchase intention was found. Also well-being health consciousness and age moderated the effects of benefits sought in clothing on the purchase intention.

The purpose of this research is to develop a design model of a smart jacket incorporating MP3 functionality for commercial use, as one of the digital lines of textile to apply If technology. In order to conduct this study, the previous studies were analyzed and usability and wearability tests were conducted using five prototype design models of smart wear with MP3 functionality. Accordingly, the smart jacket incorporating MP3 functionality for commercial use, for which user-centered interface, usability and wearability were completed, was developed by optimizing the design and location of the input interface, control module, the path of wires and earphone etc., based on textile wire and keypad. The smart jacket targets the female dress market from late-teens to early twenties. It will be a high value commodity considers all aspects of recent fashion trends, consumers' emotional satisfaction and the value of digital wear.

In Korea, recent trends indicate an increase in the volume of the functional clothing market. This study investigated the evaluative criteria and information sources of functional clothing according to gender and age. A total of 756 responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics, MANOVA, and Duncan's test. The main effect of gender on the evaluative criteria and information sources of functional clothing was identified. Compared with male consumers, female consumers gave more importance to price and aesthetic criteria. Female consumers take advice from colleagues and companions, as well as use information obtained from mass media to a greater extent than male consumers. Age was seen to have an effect on evaluative criteria and information sources in purchasing functional clothing. Respondents in their forties and fifties took textile quality and durability more seriously. Information available on the Internet and following the dressing styles of celebrities were preferred by respondents in their twenties.

Mixture phenomena are present in the overall culture due to internationalization in a modern society. A unique feel is required in materials due to the increasing demand for knit wear and there is a need for a strategic plan to achieve this. This study analyzed the appearance frequency and expressive characteristics of mixture phenomena based on selected data from collections related to the mixture phenomena trends in modern women's fashion from 2000 to 2008. Among the mixture phenomena, the mixture of the high and low class cultures had the highest frequency of occurrence and was expressed most often since the expansion of design areas was due to vague high and low concepts. The mixture of sexes showed the sharing of knit wear trends between the sexes with the pursuit of functionality. The mixture of styles showed a tendency to increase since the traditional form was transformed into a mixture of typical styles. The mixture of spaces showed a mixture of old and traditional knit wear patterns from Northern Europe and modern elements. The mixture of other materials showed the partial preceding mixture and the decorative materials that existed beyond it. The mixture of functions refers to the used characteristics of the two items. Imagination will grow and increase the possibility of expressions with the mixture of the other areas.

국내의 등산용 아웃도어 제품의 경우, 기능성인 투습도와 내수압만을 증대시키려는 연구가 주류를 이루고 있었다. 하지만, 실제 등산용 아웃도어의 경우 산악지형인 고지대에서 사용시간이 많으므로, 이에 따른 장시간의 직접적인 태양광 노출로 인한 인체에 치명적인 영향을 야기시키고 있지만, 인체 보호용 헬스케어 아웃도어 제품에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 태양광은 자외선 2.5%, 가시광선 51.5%, 적외선 46.0%의 광량 비율을 가지고 있으며, 이 중 자외선은 광량은 적지만 에너지적으로 높아 유기물 분해 및 열화를 일으킨다. 이러한 자외선을 차단하기위해 아웃도어 의류에서는 유무기하이브리드 소재를 표면에 코팅시키게 되며, 기능성 코팅액내에 함유되어 있는 나노분말의 경우 이산화티타늄($TiO_2$), 산화세륨(CeO), 산화아연(ZnO), 삼산화텅스텐($WO_3$), 산화마그네슘(MgO) 등이 주로 사용되어 진다. 본 연구에서는 자외선 흡수소재로 나노산화아연분말을 이용하여, 그 입도 및 코팅용 희석 용매내의 분산성을 확인하고, 함유량을 달리한 코팅 수지를 제조하여, 코팅시편 제조 후 그 특성을 비교/분석하여 자외선 차단 효과를 확인하고자 한다.
