An Empirical Study for the Effects of Game Characteristics on Emotion and Customer Satisfaction in Game Portal Site (게임 특성이 게임포털 사이트에 대한 감정과 고객만족에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • Since the players in online games seek fun, emotional aspects may be important factors in the pleasure-oriented information systems. This study attempted to verify the effects of characteristic factors of games (fun, challenge, compensation, and diversity) on emotion and customer satisfaction in game portal sites. The study established the research model on the foundation of precedent researches related to online games, emotion, and customer satisfaction. The study conducted online and offline survey on individuals with experiences in using online game portal sites. 206 samples were used to test the research hypotheses. By using Structural Equation Modeling, The study found the following results. First, it was revealed that characteristics of games had positive effects on emotion in game portal sites and indirect effects on user satisfaction. Second, the study analyzed the difference between low user group and high user group. It was revealed that the characteristics of games had positive effects on emotion in the low user group, but only challenge factor influenced on emotion in the high user group.

A Study on the Structural Relationship of Experience Characteristics, Value and Expectations, Purchase Intention in Cosmetic Brand Store -Focusing on the Moderating Effects of Gender- (화장품 브랜드 매장 체험특성, 가치와 기대, 구매의도의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구 -성별의 조절효과를 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of experience characteristics of cosmetics brand stores on purchase intention through brand value and product in-store expectations. In addition, by identifying the effects of gender regulation, the study aimed to supplement theoretical studies and to provide practical implications on the experience of cosmetics brand stores. First, we presented educational experiences, aesthetic experiences, and playful experiences as experience characteristics in stores. And we assumed the effect of these experience characteristics on the brand value and the expectation of the product in the store, and the effect of the brand value and the expectation on the purchase intention of the product in the store. 279 data were collected from consumers who had visited cosmetics brand stores, and we analyzed them using structural equation analysis. As a result, both experience characteristics have positive effects on brand value and in-store product expectations, and brand value has positive effects on expectations. In addition, brand value and in-store product expectations have a positive effect on in-store product purchase intention. In moderating effects of gender, the effect of playful experience on brand value is greater in male group, and the impact of educational and aesthetic experience on product expectations is greater in female group. These results contribute to the theoretical expansion of experience research on cosmetic brand stores, and provide strategic implications for experience marketing of cosmetic stores.

Effect of Characteristics of Public Enterprise CEOs' Leadership on the Leader Trust and Organizational Effectiveness of Organizational Members (공기업 CEO의 리더십특성이 조직구성원의 리더신뢰수준과 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to inquire into the effect of characteristics of public enterprise CEOs' leadership (transforming leadership and transactional leadership) on the leader trust and organizational effectiveness of organizational members. A survey was made on 1,124 persons being in the service of 14 marketable and quasimarketable public enterprises. The results of this study were as follows. First, it showed that the individualized consideration had an effect on the confidence level of leader. Second, it showed that the transforming and transactional leaderships had an effect on the organizational effectiveness, which the hypothesis was adopted. Third, it showed that calculable, intellectual and identical factors had a positive effect on the job satisfaction and organizational commitment, but the organizational commitment of calculable variable was rejected in the confidence level. In general, the effect of transforming and transactional leaderships as public enterprise CEOs' leadership characteristics on the organizational effectiveness by mutual confidence level of calculable, intellectual and identical standards showed that the organizational commitment was rejected in the base of identification. And other factors were adopted as a positive mechanism, which they were a mechanism suitable to public enterprise CEOs' leadership characteristics.

The Development of Level-Differentiated WBI Program on Weather and Climate Unit and the Analysis of Its Effects in Earth Science Class (일기와 기후 단원의 웹 기반 수준별 학습자료 개발 및 효과 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the level-defferentiated Web Based Instruction(WBI) program, to examine its effects on the science achievement self-directed learning characteristics, and the students’ perceptions on the WBI learning. For this purpose, the advanced and complementary WBI program of level-differentiated curriculum was developed to adapt to class fields and examine instruction facilitating efficiency. Designed and developed the WBI program make it possible to teach students according to the level-differentiated learning for the chapter, ‘weather and climate’ in high school science curriculum. The results of this study are as follows: First, level-differentiated WBI was effective to encourage self-concept, learning eagerness, future-oriented self-apprehension, creativity, self-assessment of the student’s self-directed teaming characteristics. There was no interaction effect of treatment and students’ learning ability at the self-directed learning characteristics. Second, the scores of science achievement of WBI group were significantly higher than those of conventional lecture group. There was interaction effect of treatment and students’ learning ability. However level-differentiated WBI has no effect on openness, initiative, responsibility of the student’s self-directed learning characteristics. There was interaction effect of treatment and students’ learning ability at the science achievement, Third, in the perception questionnaire of WBI teaming, many students showed the WBI teaming was good in terms of causing interaction between learners and web based learning materials including various images and animations. However there are several students who showed learning difficulties. For example they wonder which part is more important and what order is proper to study in hypertext environment.

The Moderating Effects of Managerial Coaching between Job Characteristics and Job Performance (직무특성과 직무성과 간의 관계에 미치는 코칭 리더십의 조절효과)

  • While managerial coaching has increased popularly as an effective leadership initiative in organization, the relationship between managerial coaching and its effects on performance has not been scholarly well defined. This study examined the role of managerial coaching as a moderator between job characteristics and job performance. Based on the sample of 453 employees in a financial firm, HLM was conducted to test the research model at multiple levels of organizational hierarchies. First, we found that managerial coaching has a direct impact on employee performance. Second, the strength of the relationship between job meaningfulness and job performance is positively related to the level of managerial coaching. Third, managerial coaching positively moderates the association between autonomy and job performance. However, any cross-level moderating effects of managerial coaching on the relationship between feedback and job performance is not observed. These results show that managerial coaching by managers could promote employees' performance through maximizing the impact of job characteristics on employees' motivation.

Relationship Between Social Support and Subjective Well-being of the Urban Elderly People (도시지역 거주 노인들의 사회적 지지와 주관적 행복감의 관련성)

  • This study examined the relationship between social support and the subjective well-being of the elderly living in urban areas. The study subjects were 382 elderly people aged 65 or older living in D metropolitan city. The survey was conducted through a personal interview by investigators who visited the study subjects using a structured questionnaire from May 1 to June 30, 2019. As a result, the subjective well-being of the study subjects differed significantly depending on various variables in the sociodemographic, health condition and, health-related behavior characteristics. The subjective well-being according to social support was significantly lower for the groups with lower social support. The correlation of subjective well-being and social support showed a significant positive correlation. Logistic regression showed that the risk of lower subjective well-being increased significantly in the group (Q1), where the total score of social support was very high (Q4). The above results suggest that the subjective well-being of the elderly living in urban areas was not only related to various variables in sociodemographic, health condition, and health-related behavior characteristics but also has significant relationships for social support. Therefore, it is necessary to develop detailed social support practices to improve the subjective well-being.

Relationships with Parents, Self-esteem and Application of Family Life Part in Home Economics Curriculum of the Middle-school Students (중학생의 부모와의 관계, 자아존중감 및 가정교과의 가족생활영역 활용도)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of relationships with parents and self-esteem on application of family life part in Home Economics curriculum of the middle-school student. The subjects of this study were 900 students of first grade of middle school who reside in Seoul and 878 self reported questionnaires were used for final analysis. The major results of this study were as follows: First, male students showed more applications of a characteristic of adolescent in family life part in Home Economics curriculum than female students. Second, the most effective variables on middle-school students' application the family life part in Home Economics curriculum were relationships between parent and adolescent, self-esteem. Middle-school students' application of family life part in Home Economics curriculum were positively influenced by relationships between parent and adolescent and self-esteem.

  • 리더십에 관한 연구는 리더십 특성요인연구, 리더십 contingency 연구, 특성이론적 접근, 행동적 접근, 상황이론적 접근 등이 있으나, 이러한 접근방법이 언제나 긍정적인 리더십을 유발하는 것은 아닌 것으로 나타나고 있다. 따라서, 긍정적이고 일관된 리더십을 만들어 내기 위해서는 리더십에 대한 새로운 접근이 요청된다. 리더십에 대한 연구는 매우 다양하게 나타나고 있으나, 문헌연구에서 볼 때 리더십은 파워라는 공통 요소를 가지고 있다. 파워는 사람으로 하여금 목적지향적인 행동을 유발하는 능력이며, 문헌에 나타난 리더십의 개념은 조직구성원으로 하여금 목적지향적인 행동을 하게하는 능력이다. 따라서, 리더십은 권력의 한 유형으로 볼 수 있다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서는 리더십을 power process에 기초한 권력순환적 관점에서 연구하고자 한다. Power process는 권력요소, 가치, 욕구, 환경, 관계의 다섯 가지 권력결정요소들의 상호작용 과정이다. 이러한 상호작용을 통해서 power process는 권력의 원천을 창출하는데 이 원천에 의한 권력행사는 긍정적인 결과를 유발한다(이경환, 2001). 앞에서 지적한 바와 같이 리더십은 권력의 한 유형이므로, power process에 의한 리더십 행사를 실증연구를 함으로서 지식경영시스템 구축을 위한 요인을 제시하고자 한다. 본 실증적 연구에서 리더는 자신의 권력요소(타고난 능력, 소질, 경험 등=경영자특성)와 욕구, 가치(경영철학) 관계성 및 환경과 같은 파워결정요소(리더십 결정요소)의 상호작용을 통해 자신의 리더십 원천을 창출할 때 즉, power process를 통해 리더십을 행사할 때 이러한 리더십은 경영성과에 긍정적인 결과를 유발하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로, 리더십 성과 향상을 위한 지식경영정보시스템은 파워결정요소적 측면에서 고려되어야 할 것이다. 모델과 독립성 모델에서는 시스템 등급에 영향을 준다. 향후에는 더욱 더 다양한 상호의존 모델들이 정량화될 필요성이 있다고 본다. 진행하였다. 줄여서 보다 더 정확하고, 지능적인 규칙구성요소 추출 방법론을 제시하고 구현하여 지식관리자의 규칙습득에 대한 부담을 줄여 주고자 한다. 도움을 받을 수 있게 되었다.을 거치도록 되어있다. 교통주제도는 국가의 교통정책결정과 관련분야의 기초자료로서 다양하게 활용되고 있으며, 특히 ITS 노드/링크 기본지도로 활용되는 등 교통 분야의 중요한 지리정보로서 구축되고 있다..20{\pm}0.37L$, 72시간에 $1.33{\pm}0.33L$로 유의한 차이를 보였으므로(F=6.153, P=0.004), 술 후 폐환기능 회복에 효과가 있다. 4) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 노력성 폐활량은 수술 후 72시간에서 실험군이 $1.90{\pm}0.61L$, 대조군이 $1.51{\pm}0.38L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.620, P=0.013). 5) 실험군과 대조군의 수술 후 일초 노력성 호기량은 수술 후 24시간에서 $1.33{\pm}0.56L,\;1.00{\ge}0.28L$로 유의한 차이를 보였고(t=2.530, P=0.017), 술 후 72시간에서 $1.72{\pm}0.65L,\;1.33{\pm}0.3L$로 유의한 차이를 보였다(t=2.540, P=0.016). 6) 대상자의 술 후 폐환기능에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별로 나타났다. 이에 따른 폐환기능의 차이를 보면, 실험군의 술 후 노력성 폐활량이 48시간에 남자($1.78{\pm}0.61L$)가 여자($1.27{\pm}0.45L$)보다 더 높게 나타났으며 (t=2.170, P=0.042),

Effects of Brand Performance Information on Brand Evaluation: The Moderating Role of Personal Characteristics (브랜드의 시장성과 정보가 브랜드 평가에 미치는 효과: 개인특성 변수의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • Prior research has investigated different effects of brand performance information such as premium price information and market share information on brand equity components - quality perception and brand preference. It was shown that the differential effects of brand performance information could depend on product-related variables like product category concept and quality variation in the product category. In this study, we conducted an experiment to find out how personal characteristics such as self-construal, price perception and brand commitment could influence the effects of different types of brand performance information. The results show that individuals who have independent self-construal, favorable price perception and emotional commitment with the brand develop more favorable evaluation of the premium price performance information resulting in more positive evaluations of the brand. However, individuals who have interdependent self-construal, unfavorable price perception and cognitive commitment with the brand develop more favorable evaluation of the market share performance information resulting in more positive evaluations of the brand. We discuss the theoretical and practical implications of this study and its limitations, along with future research interests.
