Investigation on Marital Health and Marital Life Satisfaction based on Types of Marriage and Sport Activity Participation (결혼유형과 스포츠활동 참여유형에 따른 결혼건강과 결혼생활만족의 차이에 관한 분석)

  • Many international marriage immigrants experience a considerable amount of stress while adapting to a new culture they have never experienced before. This study examines the effects of marriage type and participation type in sport activity on marital health and marital life satisfaction. The 329 participants were divided into four groups based on marriage type and sport activity type. A multivariate analysis of variance was performed to explore differences in marital health and marital life satisfaction among groups. Results revealed that regardless of cultural and linguistic differences, respondents who enjoyed sport activities with their spouses had relatively higher mean scores across four factors(marital bond, marital communication, marital value-sharing, and marital life satisfaction) than couples who did not. This study found sport activity participation positively impacted marital life, and results would provide insightful data to help people achieve a happier married life in multicultural society.

  • The knowledge management starts from the enhancement of learning capability in the members of the organization. The strategic change into the learning organization should be aligned with the change of organizational strategy, structure and processes. The study employed action learning methodology to transform the traditional organization into the learning one. The learning organization project has been successful thanks to the members' zeal and consensus to change the processes. However, not every learning team has been so successful. Some cases complained time consuming where others expect to be helpful for their incentives. The researchers concluded that the most important point for success of the learning organization project should be the support of top management.

  • This paper tries to find the implications applied to art institutions of Korea by analyzing what the content and consequences of services of the Cleveland Museum of Art provided after the Internet of Things adoption in the theoretical perspectives strengthening service marketing through the Internet of Things increases visits and participation in the museum. For analysis, journal articles, statistics, and government press releases, news articles, web pages, web page articles are collected. The results are first, the application of digital and social media is positive in visit to the museum and monetization. Second, the introduction of the Internet of Things will enhance the museum's 'Education', 'Accessibility', 'Communications' services, as well as significantly increase on and offline participation by activating experience. Third, technical support from related companies with the support of local government funds is essential to build the system. Consequently, in order to enable the participation of the spectators in the galleries it is proposed aggressive adoption of such digital technology in domestic barren market of Internet of Things.

A Study on the Status of Difficult Patrons and the Effective Response Measures of Public Libraries in Busan (부산지역 공공도서관의 문제이용자 실태와 효과적인 응대방안에 대한 연구)

  • This study investigated and analyzed the status of difficult patrons, and examined the most effective response measures targeted the public libraries in Busan. A survey on 128 people who served to the public libraries in Busan carried out for analysis of problem behaviors of public library users, and brainstorming and AHP method by 9 librarians for seeking of the effective response plan. This study shows that the most effective response ways for difficult patrons is to enact detailed regulations and the appropriate notification and education to the users about the regulations. In addition, education for communication skills to library staffs should be conducted on a regular basis, like as using positive language, listening techniques, the appropriate response techniques with angry users.

Cognitive-based Intervention for the Older Adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment: A Literature Review (경도인지장애 노인에게 적용된 인지기반 중재연구의 분석적 고찰)

  • It is important to prevent progression of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) to Alzheimer's disease or other dementia. This study was conducted to investigate cognitive-based intervention and its effectiveness for the older patients with MCI through systematic review. Data search was conducted in September 2020, using the Korea Research Information Service (Riss) and KoreaMed. After selection of literatures according to the predefined inclusion criteria, a total of 12 articles were included. It is revealed that the cognitive-based intervention for the older adults with MCI was found to have a positive effect on the various factors including cognitive function, depression, physical health status, quality of life, and communication. However, it is difficult to draw a definite conclusion due to the various intervention strategies and instruments used. Thus, based on the results of this study, we suggest more studies to verify the effectiveness of such programs.

The Effect of Individual Factors, Emotion Factors, Parents' Factors, and Social Environmental Factors on Career Decision Making of Adolescents with Multicultural (다문화청소년의 개인요인, 정서요인, 부모요인, 사회·환경 요인이 진로미결정에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the individual, emotional, parent, and social environmental factors on career decision-making in multicultural youth. To this end, 1,146 multicultural adolescents who were enrolled in high school and whose fathers were Korean were selected as subjects of analysis as data for the 7th year of the Multicultural Youth Panel (MCAPS). As a result, first, it was found that self-esteem, which was an individual factor, and adaptation to school life and multicultural acceptance, which are social and environmental factors, positive effect career decision-making. Second, it was found that depression as an emotional factor and neglect as a parent factor had a negative effect on career decision-making. However, it was confirmed that stress as an individual factor, and parent-child communication as a parent factor did not affect career decision-making. These results are meaningful in that they provided basic data on how to deal with each factor and prevent multicultural youths from wandering in advance without deciding their career paths.

Development of an Artificial Intelligence Integrated Korean Language Education Program

  • Amidst the onset of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the prominence of artificial intelligence, societal structures are undergoing significant changes. There is a heightened global interest in AI education for nurturing future talents. Consequently, this research aims to develop an AI-integrated Korean language curriculum for first-year high school students, utilizing the ADDIE model for instructional program development. To assess the program's effectiveness, pre-post assessments were conducted on future core competencies (Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, Creativity) and knowledge information processing skills. The curriculum, spanning nine sessions and incorporating four small projects, sought to provide students with a new experience of AI-integrated Korean language education. As a result, students who participated in the program demonstrated improvement in future core competencies across all areas, and positive outcomes were observed in satisfaction levels and qualitative analysis. Through these findings, it is suggested that this program successfully integrates artificial intelligence into high school Korean language education, potentially contributing to the cultivation of future talents among students.

Language use in multicultural families and the acceptance of multiculturalism: A case study of Korea (한국 다문화 가정의 언어사용과 다문화 수용 양상)

  • I researched the acceptance attitude to the multiculturalism of Korean people and the relationship between language and society through two Korean films, and . And I researched the language form in the multicultural families in the way conducting the survey targeting international marriage immigrant women. The content and conclusion in shortly are as in the following. (1) The acceptance attitude to the multiculturalism of Korean people is somewhat positive in such a case having no interests among themselves. (2) It depends upon the society and the culture for the foreigners to come into contact and learn the language easily. It means well-adapted to the certain society for the foreign workers to use status-language such as slang and jargon in the society. And this is the good example to show us the relationship between the language and certain society. (3) The language form of the multicultural families in Korea is mainly Korean, but two languages are used in order to communicate well with monolingual. This is called 'bilingualism', and according to the result of my research I think it is 'listening comprehension type bilingualism'. From this time forward it is urgently needed to develop the contents in relation to multiculturalism and the 'bilingualism' education program for multicultural families instead of the education of Korean being limited to communication itself in order to improve adaptiveness to multiculturalism in Korean society.

The Effects of Formative Assessment with Detailed Feedback on Students' Science Achievement, Attitude, and Interaction between Teacher and Students (형성평가의 피드백 유형이 학생들의 과학 성취와 태도, 교사-학생 상호작용에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of formative assessment with detailed feedback on students' science achievement, attitude, and interactions between the teacher and the students. For the study, 133 seventh graders were selected from a girl's middle school in Seoul, and assigned to the experimental and the control groups. The duration of the treatment was over a period of nine weeks. In the experimental group, detailed feedbacks on the solution, teacher's comments on the results, and relevant references were provided after each formative assessment. However, only the answers were presented in the control group. Prior to instructions, a achievement and a attitude tests were administered. After the instructions, follow-up tests which were similar to the pretests were also administered. The results showed significant difference between the two groups in science achievement. It was found that the usage of formative assessments with detailed and supportive feedbacks was more effective in stimulating students' interest, raising their confidence in the subject, increasing their participation, as well as reducing their anxiety. The results also strongly indicated that detailed feedbacks were more effective in improving the interactions of the teacher and the students. The results strongly suggest that formative assessment utilizing detailed and supportive feedback is a necessary component of effective science teaching and learning.

The Effect of Teamwork by Servant Leadership on Job Satisfaction (서번트 리더십에 따른 팀워크가 직무 만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study planned study model through documentary research and drew hypothesis to analyze how teamwork of servant leadership has an influence on job satisfaction aiming at full time employee under department head and contract worker of five star hotel in Busan. As a survey term, from April 5th, 2010 to April 23th, 2010, it distributed total 300 questionnaires, 60 questionnaires for each hotel, and then 242 questionnaires were used for empirical analysis. It analyzed data using SPSS WIN Version 12.0 statistics package program, and verified through frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, regression analysis. As a result of verification for influence of servant leadership on interchange which is one of teamwork, it showed that community formation factor has a positive influence on interchange, and as a result of verification for influence on communication which is one of teamwork, I could find out that higher the level of bond of sympathy formation and community formation factor are, higher the communication becomes. As a result of verification for influence on interdependence which is one of teamwork, it showed that community formation, stewardship, vision, commitment to growth factor have a positive influence on interdependence. As a result of verification for influence of teamwork factor on job satisfaction, it showed that all factors have a positive influence. As a result of this study. I could find out that member' positive perception on leader in hotel organization can be a basis deriving job satisfaction though teamwork.
