  • Financial information systems in financial institutions are characterized in providing financial services concatenated with various types of customer information. The leakage of those information could lead to pecuniary loss and non-pecuniary loss such as psychological pains suffered, etc. in terms of customer damages. Therefore, it is imperative for the operational authentication to be confirmed previously in their access to the financial systems and in work operations. The aim of this study is to analyze the methods of authentication and access controls for appropriate system operators.

  • Whereas the early financial information technology invested a large amount of investment on developing and adopting its own new systems. it is now focusing on reducing expenses and improving internal efficiency but applied for securing a company's competitive advantage considering the long term strategic level. As relevant researches, studies on information system quality and performance are actively going on. In previous research, the relations of the influence on the financial performance by information system quality or absorption capacity have been reviewed. In other words, the information system quality and absorptive capacity, respectively, in the position of the independent variables have been studied as a factor to have a significant effect on financial performance while the research on the relationship between these two variables is lacking. Thus, in this researches, quality of financial information systems and the absorptive capacity, respectively, as independent variables and parameters on the mediating effect on the financial performance were researches. As a result, quality of financial information systems showed a positive effect on the performance of company, the absorption capacity was perfect to play the role of mediating one. However, absorptive capacity as an independent variable has a positive impact on financial performance, but the quality of financial information systems as a parameter was not affected in any manner.

  • Financial information systems play such a pivotal role in the financial institution services that are provided for a large customers on the basis of various information including the personal information. As for the personal information collected during the transactions in the financial information systems, huge efforts and investment have been made to protect previously them from being inappropriately misused or illegally used if they could be released. Unfortunately, the frequent accidents on the leakage of sensitive personal information have occurred recently not only by external service users but even by internal system users. Therefore, the aim of this study is to suggest a model of advanced two-channel authentication for internal users in order to increase the stability of financial information systems with enhanced security.

  • 산업제어시스템은 물리적인 현장장치의 상태를 기반으로 시스템과 시스템 내부의 프로세스들을 제어, 유지하는 CPS(Cyber Physica System)으로 볼 수 있다. 하지만 IT 시스템의 유입과 더불어 IT 시스템이 보유하고 있는 보안위협 또한 상속되었고 그에 따라 IT 시스템에서 사용하는 보안 대응책을 산업제어시스템에도 적용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 산업제어시스템과 유사한 CPS인 교통신호제어시스템의 표준규격서에 통신보안으로 규격화 되어있는 SSL VPN을 산업제어시스템에 적용할 때 만족하는 보안요구사항을 살펴보고, 더불어 산업제어시스템에서의 보안 적용 시 반드시 고려해야 하는 가용성과 관련한 성능측정 결과를 보이고 결과분석을 수행한다.

A Study on Extraction of Defect Causal Variables for Defect Management in Financial Information System (금융정보시스템의 장애관리를 위한 장애요인변수 추출에 관한 연구)

  • Finance Information System is critical national infrastructure. Therefore it is important to select variables of defect causal factor for the system defect management effectively. We research and analyze detected errors in A Company's Finance Information System for three years. In the result of research and analysis, we have selected 9 variables of defect factor: the trading volume, the fluctuation of KOSDAQ index, and the number of public announcements, etc. Then we have assumed that these variables affect real system errors and analyzed correlation between the hypothesis and the detected system errors. After analyzing, we have extracted the trading volume, the number of orders and fills, changing tasks, and the fluctuations of NASDAQ index as valid variables of defect factor. These variables are proposed for failure prediction model as the variables to manage defects in the finance information system afterward.

  • Improvement of the capability to cope with risk based on prior preventive management is very important for efficient operation of financial information system. In order to do this, understanding, analysis, and countermeasures for the risk that happened already in the past is essential. In this study, the defect data which happened in the financial information system including account system, business system and data feeding system during 4 years and 5 months were categorized and analyzed by the domain, defect factors, period, day of the week, phases of software development, and defect cause. As a result, it was identified that the defect data had characteristics and trends along the phase of software development, day of the week, and the cause, also that building risk prediction model was necessary for the risk management of whole financial domain due to the relation of the information systems.

  • To protect financial information, financial companies establish strategies and plans for information security, operate information security management systems, establish and operate information security systems, check vulnerabilities, and secure information. This paper aims to present an information security portal system for financial companies that can gain visibility into various information security activities being undertaken by financial companies and can be integrated and managed. The information security portal system systemizes the activities of the information security department, providing an integrated environment for information security activities to participate from CEOs to executives and employees, not just from the information security department. Through this, it can also be used as information security governance that can be used by top executives to reflect information security in corporate management.

  • 스마트폰의 확산으로 금융관련 결제는 어디서나 가능하게 되었기에 편리함이 증가하였다. 하지만, 위와 같은 편리함과 동시에 사용자의 단말이 해커의 공격에 취약하거나 분실할 경우 심각한 문제가 된다. 따라서, 위와 같은 부정행위가 있을 경우 이를 자동으로 탐지하는 시스템이 필요하다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 이러한 문제점을 고려하여 스마트폰을 이용한 금융업무를 처리할때 GPS정보를 적용한 이상금융거래탐지시스템(Fraud Detection System) 모델을 제안한다.
