A Magnetic Flux Leakage Analysis of Metal Object for Underground Gas Pipeline (누설자속을 이용한 지하가스관 외부 금속물체의 자기신호 해석)

  • 지하에 매설된 가스관의 경우 MFL(Magnetic Fluk Leakage, 자기누설탐상) PIG를 이용하여 금속관의 여러 가지 기계적인 손상을 감지하여 사고예방이나 유지관리의 정보로 활용하고 있다. 이러한 비파피검사는 당장 수리가 필요한 손상에서부터 장래에 위협이 될 수도 있는 지하 매설관 외부의 금속물체(Metal object)까지 찾아낼 수 있어야 한다. 이 논문은 지하 매설관 외부의 금속물체의 크기, 모양 및 이격거리 등에 따른 자기누설 신호를 유한요소법을 이용하여 simulation 하고, MFL PIG를 이용하여 지하 매설관에 대한 비파괴검사를 할 경우 나타나는 여러 가지 자기적 신호를 보정하여 metal object의 크기나 위치 등을 판별할 수 있도록 기본적인 자기누설 정보를 제공하기 위한 연구이다. NMFL PIG의 형상과 금속물체의 크기 종류 의 정확한 분석을 위하여 3차원 해석을 하였다.

  • 기존의 대표적인 배선시공 방법인 전선관 배선을 대체할 수 있도록 케이블의 외장을 비닐이나 고무등의 플라스틱 재질 대신 경량의 알루미늄을 인터록이라는 특수한 공법으로 금속외장 처리하여 금속관의 장점인 고강도와 가요전선관의 장점인 가요성을 동시에 부여한 "가요성 알루미늄 피 케이블(전기설비 기술기준 별표 32)"이 개정 예정인 품셈집에 반영이 되어 현장에 적용되고 있다.

Measurement of Screening Effect by Metal Pipe on Induced Voltage to Communication Cable from Electric Railway (전기철도에서의 통신선 유도전압에 대한 금속관 차폐효과 측정)

  • Electric railway induces interference voltage on wayside communication cable which brings about communication errors, malfunction of devices, and safety problem. The magnitude of the induced voltage depends on the electromagnetic field coupling which is affected by metallic installations such as rail and track structures. This paper provides an experimental analysis of the screening effect of metallic pipe on the inductive voltage caused on communication cable. The measurements at a high-speed rail site show that the screening effect of metallic pipe is about 20% when the separation distance between the pipe and communication cable is 1~2 m. The screening effects is less than 1% and can be neglected when the separation distance is more than 4 m. These results are useful to evaluate the screening effects of the metallic installations such as water pipe, gas pipe, and reinforcing bar.

  • We present the results of a multi-material numerical investigation of the propagation of a combustible gas mixture detonation in narrow metal tubes. We use an experimentally tuned one step Arrhenius chemical reaction and ideal gas equation of state (EOS) to describe stoichiometric $H_2-O_2$ and $C_2H_4-O_2$ detonations. The purely plastic deformations of copper and steel tubes are modeled using the Mie-Gruneisen EOS and Johnson-Cook strength model. To precisely track the interface motion between the detonating gas and the deforming wall, we use the hybrid particle level-sets within the ghost fluid framework. The calculated results are validated against the experimental data because the results explain the process of the generation and subsequent interaction of the expansion wave with the high-strain-rate deformation of the walls.

  • 치관부 파절이나 치아결손 혹은 치아형태의 이상이나 변색된 치아등으로 보철치료가 요구되는 경우 저작, 연하, 발음등의 회복과 심미적인 회복이 중요한 목적이 되며, 전치부에서는 심미성이, 구치부에서는 기능적인 회복이 더욱 강조된다. 보철치료후 치료목적을 달성하고 건강한 구강내의 상태를 유지하기 위해서는 보철물이 지대치 및 주위조직에 생물학적으로 조화되어 병적상태를 유발시키지 않아야 하며, 이를 위해서는 시술전에 올바른 진단과 적절한 치료계획을 세우고, 지대치 형성, 인상채득 및 임시관 장착, 금속관 및 가공의치 제작, 구강내의 시적(try-in), cementation등 모든 과정을 주위조직과 관련하여 주위 깊게 행하여야 한다.

  • In the composite case, the first ply failure is considered total failure of the case. When the case is constructed by filament winding over a metal liner, the first ply failure does not necessarily mean total failure of the case. In this study, we compared the results through finite element analysis and burst test to predict the burst pressure of the hybrid case (filament-wound composite case with metal liner). Through it predicts the burst pressure of the hybrid case, we can determine the thickness of the metal liner and composite.

  • This paper describes the technical issues of the domestic standard and guideline for lightning protection systems in order to propose the countermeasures in damage of computer and electronic equipments due to lightning surges. The relationship between the current flow in the down conductor and the current flow in the steel conduit surrounding the down conductor was investigated as a function of the installation method of down conductors. Also the experiments were conducted to evaluate the influences of the skin effect on the down conductor systems. As a result, when the down conductor were bonded to the steel conduit, the down conductor and the steel conduit act as one conductor, so much mure lightning current flows in the steel conduit than in the copper down conductor because of the skin effect and choking effect. Therefore to reduce the adverse effects such as the electrostatic induction and side flashes caused by the potential rise of down conductors due to lightning currents, it is extremely effective to bond the down conductor to the steel conduit and steel frame of structures.

  • 지중 전력케이블의 접속함은 금속보호관(Casing or Protective Tube)의 전기적 검토를 통해서 적정 단면적을 산정하여 고장시 고장전류론 흘려주어야 한다. 현재 국내외 금속보호관은 그 재료로서 Copper를 사용하고 있으나 현장에서의 시공성 및 취급 용이성 때문에 알루미늄 보호관으로 재질 변경이 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 Copper보호관과 Aluminium보호관에서의 비교검토를 통해서 Aluminium보호관의 유효성을 검토하고 구리에서 알루미늄으로 재질 변경이 이루어 졌을 때 열적 제약조건을 고려하여 적정단면적을 재 산정한다. 또한 산정된 단면적은 단락시험을 통해서 그 유효성을 입증하였다.

Evaluation of Titanium-nitride Coated Crown: Surface Hardness, Corrosion Resistance and Color Sustainability (타이타늄-질소 코팅된 금속관에 대한 평가: 표면 경도, 부식 저항성, 색조 안정성)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare surface hardness between titanium-nitride coated crowns (TiNCs) and stainless steel crowns (SSCs), and to evaluate the corrosion resistance and color sustainability of TiNCs. Ten TiNCs and 10 SSCs were used for the hardness test. Measurement was performed 30 times for each type of crowns, and the mean values were compared. Metallic raw material plates (before being processed into crowns) of TiNCs and SSCs were prepared for the corrosion resistance test. The total amounts of metal ion releases in the test solution were detected by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. Five TiNCs were subjected to the color sustainability test by applying repetitive brushing forces. The mean hardness values of TiNC group and SSC group were 395.53 ± 105.90 Hv and 278.70 ± 31.45 Hv respectively. Hardness of TiNCs were significantly higher than that of SSCs. The total amounts of metal ion releases from the materials of TiNCs and SSCs satisfied the criterion in International Organization for Standardization 22674. The results mean that TiNCs and SSCs were not harmful in an acidic environment. The golden coating was stable against the repetitive physical stimulations for a given period time.
