  • 본 논문은 연구자석 동기발전기의 병렬운전을 위한 동기 스위치 전압 검출에 의한 동기기 병렬구동에 관한 연구이다. 동기 스위치 전압검출은 동기기가 병렬구동 시, 스위치의 양단의 전압을 검출하고, 전위차가 0[V]에 근접하게 되면 스위치를 ON시켜 계통과 연계를 위해 본 논문에서 제안하는 기법이다. 제안된 기법은 각 동기기의 동일한 한 상(phase)의 정보를 통하여 병렬구동이 가능하다는 장점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 제안된 기법에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 타당성을 검증한다.

A Detection Method of Position of ON/OFF-Switch (ON/OFF-스위치의 위치 인식 방법)

  • This paper proposes a detection method of position of OFF-switch. Each switch has the parallel path with a serial combination of passive element, its parallel path has each different frequency characteristics. Frequency characteristic of ON-switch reveals a flat spectrum irrelevant to frequency characteristic of passive element connected in parallel to its each terminal and frequency characteristic of OFF-switch reveals the same characteristic as one of passive element connected in parallel. Detection of position of OFF-switch is done by measuring the similarity of each spectrum corresponding to frequency characteristic of passive element connected in parallel to OFF-switch. The measure of their similarity is to calculate Euclidean distance between their test spectrum and reference spectrum. The spectrum with the smallest distance among reference spectrum is recognized as the spectrum of OFF-switch. The real time digital signal processing system is implemented to detect the position of OFF-switch by using spectrum matching.

  • 현재 또는 장래에 예견되는 거의 모든 통신서비스를 통합적으로 제공할 수 있는 B-ISDN환경하에서 음성통화와 비디오정보, 데이타들이 각기 다른 bit rate와 서비스 요구조건(통화시간, 질등)를 가지고 전송서비스를 받으려 하기때문에 매우 다양한 서비스들의 조합을 고려하여 교환시스팀을 구현해야 한다. B-ISDN에 적합한 전송기술로서 ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode)이 일반적으로 제안되고 있는데 이미 10여종의 독특한 ATM시스팀들이 이론적, 실험적 연구단계를 거쳐 거의 실용화 단계까지 이르렀다고 주장되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ATM교환시스팀의 설계요건과 비교기준을 제시하여 설계 대자인을 주어진 기술제약하에 최적화 할 수 있는 조건을 제시한다. 이때 우선 기본 스위치의 구조를 단단계로 할 것인가 다단계로 할 것인가에 대한 정량적, 확률적인 비교가 행해지고 특히 이미 많은 ATM스위치에서 채택되고 있는 Banyan형태의 망의 성능분석을 보다 현실에 근접하게 할 수 있는 이산적 마코프체인에 의한 모형과 계산방법이 확립된다. 이를 통해 단위스위치내부에 버퍼의 유무, 버퍼를 두는 위치, 또한 버퍼사이즈에 의한 영향등이 세부적으로 분석된다.

  • 본 논문은 실내에서 홈 거주자의 위치를 인식하기 위해 근접성을 이용한 위치 추적 시스템 환경을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 기존 실내의 고정된 위치에 있는 구조/시설물 및 가전제품의 ON/OFF 스위치를 이용하며 기타 추가적인 스위치 및 센서를 부착하여 개폐동작이 일어날 때 발생되는 신호를 검출하여 실제위치를 얻는다. 발생되는 신호는 Pull-up 저항을 이용한 신호 검출 방법으로 눌려진 스위치나 센서에서 발생된 아날로그 신호를 검출한다. 검출된 신호의 고유한 ID값은 Sensor TMO로 송신되어 수집된다. 수집된 센서ID는 소켓통신을 이용하여 홈서버인 실내위치추적시스템으로 보내질 뿐아니라 원격 모니터링 GUI를 통해 실내 거주자의 위치를 GUI의 가상공간 좌표와 매핑된 홈 거주자의 위치를 보인다. 본 논문에서 제안한 실내위치추적시스템은 홈 거주자의 위치를 주기적으로 모니터링하고 거주자의 이동 패턴과 활동 상황을 파악하여 헬스케어 정보로 활용할 예정이다.

  • We investigated the operational characteristics of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, which has an unstable resonator with a GRM(Gaussian reflectivity mirror). With electrical input energy of 55 J, we obtained the fundamental energy of 470 mJ at 1064 nm and the frequency doubled energy of 280 mJ at 532 nm. The Top-Hat profile of the output beam was obtained at the near field, and beam divergence was 1.7 mard.

An Experimental Study on the Fire Risk of Electric Heaters According to Contact of Flammable Materials (가연물 접촉에 따른 전기히터의 화재위험성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • In this study, it was evaluated the fire risk of an electric heater as representative seasonal appliances. Two type of electric heaters were used in experiments. When electric heaters were operated, temperature variation was measured around the heater. Internal structure was understood by Nondestructive inspection. It was evaluated the tire risk of electric heaters, when flammable materials were positioned ear a heater. It was also estimated the probability of a tire in case of malfunction of a safety tip-over witch. When a heater was operated in a normal condition, temperature was maintained under $80^{\circ}C$ around the heater. The possibility of a fire is very high, when a heater is covered with flammable materials or malfunction of safety parts (safety tip-over switch, anti-overheating devices).

  • A control method for a robot hand grasping a object in a partially unknown environment will be proposed, where a proximate sensor detecting the distance between the fingertip and object was used. Particularly, the finger joints were driven servo-pneumatically in this study. Based on the proximate sensor signal the finger motion controller could plan the grasping process divided in three phases ; fast aproach, slow transitional contact and contact force control. That is, the fingertip approached to the object with full speed, until the output signal of the proximate sensor began to change. Within the perating range of the proximate sensor, the finger joint was moved by a state-variable feedback position controller in order to obtain a smooth contact with the object. The contact force of fingertip was then controlled using the blocked-line pressure sensitivity of the flow control servovalve for finger joint control. In this way, the grasping impact could be reduced without reducing the object approaching speed. The performance of the proposed grasping method was experimentally compared with that of a open loop-controlled one.

  • In this study, an ultrasonic transducer is fabricated with 1-3 type composite resonators. Pulse-echo responses of an ultrasonic transducer are investigated in underwater dependent on the variable designated water-level. LED Output signals of a level limit with changing a water level is obtained by the 1-3 type self-made composite transducer and electric measuring unit. LED is turned on at above the up-limit level with increasing a water level, and LED is turned on at less than the down-limit level with decreasing a water level. There was good agreement between the virtual water level and output LED signal by using the self-made water-detecting system.

An Effective Cell Scheduling Algorithm for Input Queueing ATM Switch (입력단 큐잉 방식의 ATM 스위치를 위한 효율적 셀 중재 방식에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a cell scheduling algorithm for input queueing ATM switch. The input queueing architecture is attractive for building an ultra-high speed ATM (Asynchronous Transfer Mode) switch. We proposea WMUCS (Weighted Matrix Unit Cell Scheduler) based on the MUCS which resolves HOL blocking and outputport contention. The MUCS algorithm selects an optimal set of entries as winning cells from traffic matrix (weightmatrix). Our WMUCS differs from the MUCS in generating weight matrices. This change solves the starvationproblem and it reduces the cell loss variance. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by thesimulation program written in C++. The simulation results show that the maximum throughput, the average celldelay, and the cell loss rate are significantly improved. We can see that the performance of WMUCS is excellentand the cost-effective implementation of the ATM switch using proposed cell scheduling algorithm.
