The Enhancement of Antenna Near-Field Measurements Using Near-Field to Far-Field Transform Algorithms Based on the Lorentz Reciprocity Theorem (로렌츠 상호작용 원리와 근역장-원역장 변환 공식을 이용한 안테나 근역장 측정 알고리즘 개선)

  • The enhancement of antenna near-field measurements is obtained using a general probe compensation equation based on the Lorentz reciprocity theorem and reciprocity notation. The probe compensation is an essential process of the near-field to far-field transformations. Applying the equation proposed in this paper to a planar scanning for a rectangular horn antenna shows that our near-field radiation pattern is similar to that of a far-field and our theory is very simple to use and suitable for most practical applications.

  • For the evaluation of far-field performance by using the near-field probing on the base station dipole array antenna, the effects of mutual coupling depending on the heights between the array antenna with reflector and the probe were analyzed. When the height is varied in the near-field region, S parameters on the input ports of antenna and probe are measured and analyzed to decide the height for the minimum mutual coupling effect and the maximum probing efficiency. This height will be applicable to the near-field probing system design to achieve the precision far-field performance of a base station array antenna system.

  • The symplectic form based on a symplectic space is introduced to simplify a probe compensation equation in terms of the near-field measurement algorithm. The Lorentz reciprocity principle is also utilized for a near-field probe compensation equation. Applying the symplectic form to the probe compensation equation gives a simplified probe equation, thus confirming the validity of our approach.

  • 현대의 전기전자 기술의 발전속도가 급격히 빨라짐에 따라서 디지털 전자기기는 많은 데이터와 빠른 전송속도가 요구되어지고 있으며 이로 인해 예상치 못한 고주파 노이즈 신호의 문제가 심각해지고 있다. 최근 디지털 전자기기 중 디스플레이 표시장치에서 구동전압 인가 시 발생하는 근역장 방사노이즈가 문제가 되고 있고, 정전용량방식 (Capacitive Overlay)Touch Pannel에서 터치 시 오작동을 일으키는 EL 면광원의 EMI(Electro-Magnetic Interference, 전자방해)가 본 연구에서 해결하고자 하는 문제이다. EL 면광원의 구동전압이 증가함에 따라서 Touch Panel에 인가되는 근역장 방사노이즈의 세기를 측정하였고 근역장 방사노이즈를 감쇄할 수 있는 Flexible한 자성복합시트에 대해서 연구하였다. EL Display Pannel에 Flexible한 자성 복합시트를 채용하여 Flexible Display 장비의 근역장 방사노이즈 감쇄에 효과가 있음을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose a low-cost near-field measurement system using a circular cylindrical scanning formula in order to obtain the radiation pattern of an AUT (Antenna Under Test). Near-field measurement is performed with the improved circular cylindrical scanning based on a planar scanning. We propose a novel method that replaces a network analyzer and we also offer the specifications of the near-field measurement system.

  • 본 논문에서는 자기 공명 방식 무선전력전송시스템의 전자파 노이즈 원을 분석하기 위해서 근역장 측정 시스템을 이용하여 PCB 회로에 분포하는 근역장 분포를 측정하였다. 측정된 시료는 6.78 MHz를 사용하는 시스템으로 자기 공명 방식으로 에너지를 전송하고 있다. 주 전자파 노이즈 원으로 6.78 MHz의 공진 주파수의 고조파와 시스템에 안정적인 전압을 공급하기 위해 사용되는 레귤레이터의 내부 클럭 신호의 고조파가 많이 발생하고 있다. 이들 고조파 성분은 전 대역의 주파수 영역에 넓게 분포하는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본 논문에서는 무선충전 시스템에서 공진체의 근역장 특성을 분석하였다. 지면상의 공진체는 파장에 비해 매우 작으므로 자계 다이폴로 가정하고 영상법을 적용하여 근역장 특성을 간단히 해석하였다. 이러한 결과는 무선충전 시스템의 응용분야에 따라서 각각 다른 평가환경이 필요함을 보여 주고 있다.

  • The improvement of a near-field measurement for an antenna is investigated. We propose the formula of a circular cylindrical scanning based on the Cartesian coordinate. Proposed algorithm for the circular cylindrical Scanning is compared with the exact solution for a Hertzian dipole antenna, thus confirming that our approach is useful for most practice measurements.

  • An antenna gain measurement system using an extrapolation technique is described. The technique is similar to the usual two-antenna method for absolute gain measurement system, but involves the measurement of the received signal as a function of seperation in short distances, and the signal-versus-seperation data is processed in a way that allows an extrapolation of the signal to "infinite" seperation. In this technique it is possible to obtain the near field gain as function of distance by combining the far field gain and a proximity correction factor. The results of gain measurements of standard gain horn antennas and OEG (open ended waveguide) antennas are also presented.
