본 논문에서는 무선 근거리 통신망의 프로토콜 구조를 분석한 후, 이를 바탕으로 무선 근거리 통신망에 적용 가능한 정보보호 규격을 제시하고, 관련 정보보호 메카니듬을 도출하며, 적용된 정보보호 메카니듬들을 C 언어로 시뮬레이션한다.

Computer and communication network of the future will be the ISDN that enable various services. And now, it Is very Important to study the relevalent techniques to develop Interworking methods between existing computer network and ISDN The purpose of this paper Is to provide necessary basic He search results on the Interworkting method between local area network (LAN) and ISDN. For Interworking, we analyze the characteristic of existing LAN and ISDN and discuss considerations of Interworking and suggest the interworking method for CO and CL services. Also. we construct logical gateway for Interworking betwen LAN and ISDN and make formairnodeling of gateway using Petri net and verify the correctness of protocol with reachability tree. Research results should be helpful In designing and Implementing gateway between i()cal computer network and I SDN

In this paper, we investigate the direction of LAN evolution. We focus rather on the philosophical changes than on the advances of technologies. In terms of topology, channel structure, and medium access control, we categorize major local area networks widely used in the past. We then investigate new directions in the concept and advances in the technology of local area networks. The idea of collapsed backbone is shown to be the most fundamental factor influencing the evolution of local area networks. Asynchronous Transfer Mode that is radically different form the existing LAN technology is now actively applied to LAN. In order to compete with ATM, conventional LANs should evolve to support quality of service for multimedia application

본 논문은 IEEE 802.11 프로토콜 구성과 무선 근거리 통신망의 매체접근제어(Media Access Control: MAC), 공유자원인 무선채널을 액세스하기 위하여 사용하는 대표적인 MAC방식을 분류하여 설명하였고, MAC의 핵심이 되는 매체접근제어 프로토콜인 DFWMAC(Distributed Foundation Wireless MAC)의 핵심기능에 대하여 소개한다.

LBS (Location Based Service) cannot be realized unless we can obtain the user's current location. Therefore, in order to realize indoor LBS, many researchers have been working on WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) based indoor positioning and tracking. Meanwhile, Kalman filter has been widely used in the field of GPS based outdoor user tracking. The main purpose of this paper is proposing an extended Kalman filter method for indoor tracking. Our experimental results show that Kalman filter can be used to improve the accuracy of the measured tracks and the track can be further improved by making use of the map information.

This paper describes the outboard NIU(Network Interface Unit) using microprocessor and the hardware and software of concentrator for constructing star typed LAN(Local Area Network) based on token ring method. The NIU adapter can adapter up to four parallel and serial typed terminals. Because it has PAD function on input output data, any type of terminals can be adapted. Since the concentrator has logical switching circuit which enables data to bypass the faulted NIU adapter, this network prevents communication break. When user transmits and receives data, the concentrator constructs star typed LAN which connct both transmitting and receiving sides. A s result, this network eliminated ring latency time in other NIU exculding transmitting and receiving NIU. So the throughput of this LAN is increased. Because this LAN system consists of several modultes according to it's function, the expansion of function or the modification of method is easy.
