극초단파를 이용한 유류 오염 토양의 정화

  • 현재 오염 토양의 복원기술은 여러 가지 문제점들을 안고 있어 보다 경제적이면서 신속하고 실용적인 오염물질 제거방법의 개발이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 유류에 오염된 토양을 극초단파와 용매를 사용하여 복원하는 것에 관한 기초 조사를 위한 실험을 수행하였다. 그 결과 유류에 오염된 토양을 극초단파를 이용하여 정화를 할 경우 토양 입자의 크기도 고려를 하여야 할 것으로 사료된다. 그리고, soxhlet 추출법과 극초단파 추출법을 비교하였을 경우 soxhlet 추출법에 비하여 약 1/3 정도의 용매로 추출이 가능하며, 1분 내ㆍ외의 추출 시간으로 soxhlet 추출법에 의한 kerosene의 회수율과 유사하거나 또는 그 이상의 회수율을 얻을 수 있는 것으로 조사되었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 정확한 화재원인 분석 및 사기범죄 여부 확인을 위하여 극초단파를 직접 휴대전화에 조사하고, 이때 발생되는 휴대전화의 손상형태를 분석하였다. 극초단파 조사를 위하여 전자레인지를 이용하였으며, 전자레인지의 마그네트론에서 발생되는 2.45 GHz의 극초단파가 휴대전화에 인가될 때 휴대전화의 손상형태를 분석하였다. 실험 결과, 휴대전화에 극초단파를 조사하는 경우, 조사 시간이 길어짐에 따라 심하게 손상되는 경향을 나타내었으며, 특히, 폴더의 힌지 부분 및 인테나 부분과 같이 금속이 설치되는 부분이 심하게 열변형되는 결과를 나타내었다. 휴대전화의 배터리 부분은 외함이 열변형되는 것 이외에 배터리의 손상이나 폭발 등은 발생되지 않는 것으로 평가되었다.

Pre-establishment of Microwave-Assisted Extraction Conditions for Oleoresins from Dried Red Pepper (극초단파를 이용한 건고추 올레오레진의 추출조건 설정)

  • Microwave-assisted extraction (MAE, 2,450 MHz), which is known as a rapid and more environmental-friendly process than current extraction methods, was applied to oleoresin extractions from dried pepper. As fundamental parameters of MAE, optimum conditions were found, such as 60 mesh in particle size of the sampes, 1:10(g/mL) powders was high at lower concentrations of ethanol, whereas capsanthin content remarkably increased at more than 75% of ethanol concentration. The results showed that MAE of oleoresin and capsanthin from red pepper powders was successful in 3 to 5 min of the extraction time.

Analysis on Damage Patterns of a Folder Type Mobile Phone Caused by Microwave-irradiation (극초단파 조사에 따른 폴더형 휴대전화 손상 형태 분석)

  • In this paper, we analyzed damage patterns of a folder type mobile phone caused by microwave-irradiation, to find an accurate fire cause and to investigate deliberate broken of mobile phone for obtaining pecuniary advantage by deception. In order to analyze broken patterns, we irradiated a mobile phone with microwave using by 2.45 GHz microwave oven. Form the experiment results, damage patterns of mobile phone have been tendency toward heavy broken patterns depending on time of microwave-irradiated. Distinctively, folder hinge and intenna(Planar Inverted-F Antenna) were heavy broken in compare with battery, enclosure and so on. The enclosure of mobile phone became just thermo-metamorphism and the battery was not broken such as explosion.

  • Some fundamental conditions were investigated in microwave-assited extraction (MAE) for oleoresin from Chinese dried ginger. The fifty watts of microwave energy(2,450 MHz), 60 mesh in particle size and 1:10 (g/mL) ratio of sample to solvent were the optimum conditions. Lower yield of soluble oleoresins was obtained at higher concentrations of ethanol. Radical scavenging ability was highest in extracts by using 25% of ethanol. Total phenolics in extracts were remarkably increased at above 50% of ethanol concentration. Overall yield of oleoresin components increased in proportional to extraction time up to 7 min. Based on the above results, it is indicated that ethanol concentration is a critical parameter in MAE.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 오실로스코프와 이더넷(TCPIP)을 기반으로 한 극초단파 부분방전 신호취득 체계를 개발하였다. 원격으로 오실로스코프를 제어하고 측정한 부분방전 신호를 취득, 전송, 저장, 분석 할수 있는 체계를 개발하였다. 기간 구성품으로 최근 발전된 윈도우즈 기반 디지털 오실로스코프와 Labview를 사용하여 가스절연개폐장치(GIS) 내부에서 발생하는 극초단파 부분방전 신호를 측정하고 저장하여 실시간으로 위상분해 분석방법을 적용하여 측정된 신호를 표시하였다.

  • Cement and paraffin waste form were prepared with a acid extraction method for the analysis of radionuclides generated from nuclear power plants. The acid extraction method was carried out with $HNO_3-HCl$ acid. At first, we compared the method with the microwave acid digestion method using SRM. The solutions of decomposed SRM were then analyzed by AAS and ICP-AES. The acid extraction method had shown good results as microwave acid digestion method. This method provided recovery values greater than $80\%$ for metallic elements.

  • Direct PCR from intact fungal cells is not readily suitable to all fungi mainly because of difficulties in rupturing the cell walls. Microwave irradiation has been proven to be useful in fungal DNA extraction protocol. Here we describe a fast template preparation method for PCR amplification from Aspefillus nidulans conidiospores using microwave irradiation. We optimized the duration far microwave irradiation, and the amount of template DNA for PCR. Amplification from samples prepared in this manner was so efficient that we could get PCR products with size enough to identify transformants. We believe that this is a time-saving procedure for screening true transformants of A. nidulans.
